Tiddlywinks Nursery Ancoats

My son had been in the baby then toddler room and it is amazing how the staff showered the children with love. At birthdays, they would make a big event out of it, sticking his photo on the front door, have a party with cake and just making him the happiest person in the world. He came home singing happy birthday songs again and again and that is still his favourite song. It is a very experienced team who knows how to deal with difficult children. He was only one when he went and he wasn't sleep-trained. I wasn't sure whether he was ready for nursery but his keyworker puts a lot of efforts and cracked it. Staff looked like they have been professionally trained. They use an app to communicate what and when the child eat, when do they sleep and when did they have the nappies changed. I don't think many nurseries do that. The nursery opening hours are quite long 7:30am to 6pm. I think the quality is similar to private schools, without the judgemental environment and for much lower fee.

The care, comfort and attention provided to my baby is amazing. I feel confident when I drop my baby at the nursery.

The staffs are very professional and always perform their duties with full responsibility.

I chose Tiddlywinks for my son after his original nursery closed. He started here just before his second birthday and I wish he'd move sooner! From his very first day I felt that he was safe and cared for and he has been thriving ever since. The staff here listened to our concerns, reassured us and have supported his development exceptionally. Each and every member of staff has made an effort to get to know us and our child, and it genuinely feels like we're dropping him off with family. I'll be devastated to move on from Tiddlywinks when my son moves to reception.

There's always a relaxed atmosphere we're the children seem happy to be, if you have any concerns all the staff are approachable and more than happy to listen and help.

We're so happy with our experience at this nursery. The staff are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in our child. It's a safe, nurturing environment with engaging activities, and we've seen such lovely growth in our child's confidence and development. We feel completely reassured leaving them each day and would highly recommend it to other parents

My boys have been at this nursery for 2 and a half years only eldest who is 3 is showing signs of autism I could not thank C enough for everything she has done for my boy she's been his comfort whilst attending always supporting him they've built such a strong bond together which makes me feel so much at ease as a mother knowing there's somebody who understands him and his needs in a different setting than at home. Not only has she supported my son in the best way but she has also supported myself when I've struggled emotionally and mentally. She's supported me in ways from home life struggles with my sons needs to even supporting which school would be best for my son to go to, she's been there whenever we both have needed her I wouldn't have been able to do anything we've achieved with him so far without her, I will be forever grateful for C and I'm sure my son feels the same at 3 as he always mentions C at home too. Thank you so much C for being our rock.

We have two children in Tiddlywinks Ancoats, attending this nursery since they were babies. The nursery is located in a pleasant green space, with its own large garden and playground. The team is very engaged and enthusiastic, professional and with vast knowledge of children's development processes and needs. We are very happy with this nursery and the boys enjoy their time there.

I also attended a first aid session at the nursery which was very helpful.

All staff have been absolutely amazing with both my kids, helped them settled really well and they love being in nursery, just goes to show the love and attention that goes into each individual child. Super friendly and accommodating yours and your child needs. Thank you.

Such a wonderful nursery! I feel so happy and confident having my little girl with you. From the very first day, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I knew I had made the right choice. The staff are incredibly kind, caring, and professional, always ensuring that every child feels safe, happy, and valued.

My son has a great time at nursery, evidenced by him often running in and is happy to get dropped off. His talking has improved considerably since coming to Tiddlywinks, as has his confidence and social skills. There are always plenty of staff around to look after him, and they all know even if they're from separate rooms, and he doesn't mind who he is handed over to in the morning. Whenever I attend, they are usually playing in a group, and are often playing outside. There's a wide variety of meals provided, and he is offered food we would not think to offer him at home.

We are extremely happy with the care and attention our child receives at Tiddlywinks Nursery Ancoats.The staffs create a warm, supportive atmosphere that encourages our child's growth and happiness. Our child loves going to Nursery each day, thanks to the caring staff and the fun, stimulating activities they provide.

Had a warm welcome from the staff. Great experience with the staff. Very welcoming and friendly. The process and procedures were clearly explained by the staff. There is enough parking in the compound.

Really appreciate that all members of staff learn all the children's names too, even when they work in different classrooms they always make you feel welcome.

Tiddlywinks is an amazing nursery. My son loves his teachers and they are also very friendly and welcoming. Amazing nursery manager with a good sense of humour. My son started from the baby room, it's amazing how mature he is now, he started being a lot more independent from the activities he partakes in at the nursery. Delighted to have put him there.

Tiddlywinks provides a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who genuinely care about our daughter's development. The outdoor space offers ample room for exploration, complete with chickens adding to the charm. Our daughter adores three members of staff in particular for their attentive care and engaging interactions. Overall, it's a fantastic environment for young learners, our daughter loves it and we feel very comfortable entrusting her care with her nursery family.

My son is a very clingy and shy person, the nursery staff are really good to him, such that his settling-in process was smooth which I didn't expect to be so easy. All their staff are bubbly and you can tell that they really love the kids and its not just a job to them, they are an amazing bunch. The only downside is they don't really update on a daily basis what the child has done updates are either not done or they come days or weeks later other than that this nursery is superb and I love how the staff are so dedicated to the kids, as a mum I know they are a good bunch especially when your child comes home and naming and imitating the teachers he has engaged with during the day in a good way and he is looking forward to the next day. Would recommend this setting a thousand times.
