Kindred Odstock nursery is a warm and welcoming environment where the staff are passionate about the mission to create inspiring worlds full of awe and wonder for little ones to grow and thrive in. Kindred Odstock is nestled in the village of Odstock in Salisbury. The nursery offers exceptional childcare and early years education to children aged from 3 months up to 5 years and is are open from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (with session times to suit your needs). The nursery has an impressive large outdoor space and innovative indoor environments.

They are passionate about loose parts play and follow a Reggio-inspired approach to learning and development. The staff have immense respect for the children and work hard to captivate and ignite their interests.

I have nothing but praise for the staff at this nursery (pre-school). Always helpful and friendly. They have been brilliant during the COVID crisis and we felt very safe when sending our boy back there. My boy loves his time there too!

I cannot fault this nursery, having sent my child here since she was 18months old. She has grown with so much confidence, and always comes out full of enthusiasm to tell me what's she's been up to for the day. She is now three and I'm eager for her baby sister to start in September. I wasn't at all
worried about her returning to nursery after Covid-19 lockdown as the care and safety measures they put in place put me at ease immediately and the communication we receive all the time is excellent.

I cannot fault this nursery. My children love it and are beautifully cared for. I love the ethos - children seem to be encouraged to really discover things for themselves. Learning appears to be facilitated in a really exciting and natural way rather than too structured or formal. The staff are really

My son has been very happy at Odstock Day Nursery. I particularly felt the care in the baby room was good. I was very worried about sending my son at first and was worried about the transition as he is such a bad sleeper but they have patiently and gently worked with him so he has napped at nursery.
He got lots of cuddles and was made to feel secure. I am grateful to two girls in particular for this. They use a gentle supportive approach which is very important to me as I don’t like the idea of sleep training and would be very unhappy if a nursery did this.
They have an approach where they don’t have toys but encourage the children to create from bits and pieces which means every day is different and the staff work hard to create new set-ups each day. My friends who have had children transition to school said the nursery prepared them very well for this.

My daughter has been in attendance at the nursery since she was 12-months-old. In the 18-months in attendance, we have watched her confidence and key skills grow.
The support given here is wonderful, and my daughter can not wait to attend every week.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this nursery.

Jessica Angell

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2014

I started working with children in 2003 where I began my training for my level 2 and 3. My journey at Odstock began in 2014 when we first opened. I worked alongside the then manager to set up and develop the nursery and with the embedding of our ethos and practice, which we are still so passionate about today.
I began as the baby room leader and then I stepped up into the position of Deputy Manager to cover maternity leave. I maintained that position and have since been promoted to Nursery Manager.
I feel really passionate about respectful care in young children and strive to create strong relationships between adults and children. In March 2019 I got the chance to visit Budapest where I took part in a week’s course to understand more about respectful care and how important freedom of movement and relationships are for young children to develop and to feel safe and secure within their environment.

Job Title: Deputy Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

My career in childcare started in 2018 when I was an apprentice working towards my Level 3 in Childcare. After completing this qualification, I wanted to try a new and bigger setting, so I moved to a nursery and had the opportunity to step into the deputy manager and SENCO role to cover maternity leave. During this time, I studied for my Level 4 and Level 5 Foundation degree.


My journey at Kindred Odstock started in February 2025, where I became the deputy manager and SENCO.


I am dedicated at supporting children to achieve their full potential. I champion SEN and want to ensure that both children and parents receive the correct outside support.
