Kindred Odstock Nursery and Pre-School

I would happily recommend it. Thank you Kindred Odstock Day Nursery, you are all so wonderful and well done for getting through the last year and a half, COVID-19 pandemic.

I have 2 children at Kindred Odstock Day Nursery and Pre-School aged 1 and 3. I could not recommend this nursery enough! The staff are always so friendly and personal yet professional and helpful too. They keep you updated each day on what they are up to and they always come home so happy after a busy day. So glad I found them and couldn’t imagine my boys going anywhere else!

My little boy started here in May 2021, I was really nervous about how long it would take him to settle and was so surprised that he settled straight away and this is thanks to the amazing, caring and nurturing staff at Kindred Odstock! I can not thank them enough for how they have helped my son settle into nursery life and for how well they have communicated with us, reassuring us that he has settled ok after drop-offs. They have a great app that allows for excellent communication between us and them throughout the day. The outside space is amazing and my son loves being outside so this was a real selling point for us when the manager showed us around, who was also very welcoming, accommodating of our needs and full of knowledge! We are over the moon with our decision to send our son to Kindred Odstock and love how chatty he is when we pick him up! Cannot recommend highly enough! Amazing nursery and amazing staff throughout!

I cannot fault the nursery in any way. All the staff have the most caring nature towards the children and clearly have all the children’s best interests at heart. My daughter was settled from her very first session and this is all down to the friendly and welcoming staff. The resources are brilliant both inside and out and my daughter can’t wait to tell me what she’s done when she gets home!

My youngest child was born a few months before lockdown and started in the baby room at 10 months. Very different not being able to go in like with my previous children but quickly got used to new routine and staff have gone above and beyond to a) keep the children safe b) maintain a fun environment which allows the children to thrive. As a keyworker at a local hospital the second wave has been very stressful with unprecedented work pressures requiring me to increase my hours. The nursery manager's support and flexibility has enabled me to focus on my job in the knowledge that my daughter is cared for, happy and safe. My daughter's key worker is always available to talk to at pick up and their bond is natural and evident. Within a couple of weeks, she had totally sussed my daughter out and I can tell from the way my 17 month old totters in without looking back how happy she is there. I feel very lucky that I have access to such a fantastic nursery.

Our son adores his days at Kindred Odstock Day Nursery and Pre-school. He is always excited to go and at pick up he is smiling, having had lots of fun and learnt a lot. The staff are incredibly caring, supportive and go that extra mile to ensure each individual child’s needs are catered for. They keep you up to date on the app so you know how your child is getting on and also provide a weekly summary assessment of their development. They’ve also been very flexible throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, taking into consideration each family’s situation. I cannot fault them and would happily recommend them as a childcare establishment to my family, friends and colleagues.

The staff have always been so positive and friendly and I’m worry-free at work knowing he’s being looked after so well.

Both of our boys have attended Kindred Odstock so we have five years of experience of the nursery and staff there. I can not imagine a more supportive and stimulating environment for children. The staff there are exceptional in their commitment and care for the children that they look after and each child is treated as an individual. The children have wonderful opportunities for creative and imaginative play, for stimulating learning, for independent tasks and for building relationships. We have always been very happy with the nursery and found they communicated well.

I couldn’t be happier with the nursery and would definitely recommend to any of my friends.

We are so so happy with Kindred Odstock. Our little boy loves going and always learns so much. More than that you can tell the staff love what they do and they go above and beyond to give the children all the opportunities to develop and nurture their curiosity and creativity. I think they keep us well informed and we always know what is going on in the learning and the care of our little boy. We get updates and ideas for how to develop his learning at home. The outdoor space and outdoor learning is so exiting and they are constantly changing the play space to keep it interesting. They do fab food too!

The updates on the app are great and we can see him developing every day.

They keep you updated with so much information throughout the day while still taking such good care of our little boy, so reassuring!

My son loves nursery. I'm really pleased I made this choice. He's always happy and eats all the food which sounds lovely. This nursery has a great outdoor space which the staff frequently change, making fun new areas. The staff are always smiley and welcoming. It's odd not being able to go in but he's never even looked back. I can work with peace of mind that my boy is loving his time there.

My son absolutely loves Kindred nursery. He settled quickly and has made a strong relationship with staff and children. The play opportunities have really helped him develop and the communication between nursery and home is absolutely fantastic. Regular updates and photos mean that I learn so much about what he is up to and links with the EYFS curriculum are clear and informative. We couldn’t be happier with Kindred Nursery and want to thank all the staff for their amazing efforts. The food is better than we eat.

Great nursery with super staff. My child has attended regularly for two years and always has a thoroughly good time at the nursery. The staff are exceptional and have coped admirably with the COVID situation. The new App is excellent and gives plenty of information about what our child has been up to and what he has eaten.

Both of my children attended Kindred Odstock from 2014 to the current day. They have received exceptional care during their time with the team. The nursery space inside and out is welcoming and stimulating. The ethos of the nursery is inclusive and gentle, with an emphasis on natural play using collected and everyday items to encourage children to use their imagination and challenge themselves spatially. The nursery was both a great place for a young baby to explore friendships and the world around them, and later a thoughtful and sympathetic preparation for school. During this time, we as parents were regularly kept informed and included in nursery developments and the relationship was very supportive. The team have coped admirably during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the changes made have been carefully implemented with minimal impact on the children's experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and the fantastic team who make it what it is.

My daughter adored nursery, right from the first settle session to the day she graduated. It was an amazing environment for her to grow, develop, find herself and flourish! She made friends for life, learned and developed vital skills from sensory to health and self-care she uses every day and the bond she shared with her key workers and other staff was magical! Highly recommend!
