Little Green Rascals Day Nursery Tadcaster Road

As a first-time parent, leaving my 10-month-old at a nursery was a very difficult experience. Fortunately, that feeling didn’t last for very long. Within a few weeks, my son was not only excited to go to nursery, he absolutely fell in love with his key person.

His key worker has been a blessing. She’s beyond sweet and caring and her genuineness is evident in the bond she has formed with my son. She always goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

I love the App that all parents have access to. I can easily check to see what and whether my son has eaten, nappy changes, etc. I don’t have to call the nursery for updates which makes things easier. I also get sent pictures of his activities and updates on his development.

In general, the staff at Little Green Rascals- Tedcaster are brilliant. They’re always very friendly and welcoming. The entire building is always very clean and the food options are admirable.

I would very highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

My daughter joined Cheeky hens September 2018, her key worker and staff have really helped her settle and develop her character. Throughout her day I am kept updated via the Famly app and am sent photos of her carrying out activities, it’s reassuring to see how much fun she is having with her friends. The nursery itself is a safe, clean and friendly environment. Would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents!

Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road is absolutely fantastic. The care provided for both of my daughters has been exemplary and I was particularly impressed with the steps taken to prepare my older child for school. They made the transition easy and for that, I am so grateful.

The thought and consideration for the needs of the children as individuals is impressive and the emotional contact and care the staff provide goes above and beyond. Thank you!

Excellent nursery. The facilities are fabulous and our daughter loves it here. The organic food is varied and tasty and there is a fantastic range of activities especially for older children.

My son is in the class, Little Ladybirds. He has struggled with his talking for some time and was actually a concern when he had his two year review. The health visitors requested to see him again in 6 weeks to see improvement. After discussing with Little Green Rascals Organic Day Nursery, they put him on a speech development programme and he has developed dramatically. He now connects whole sentences together and pronounces nearly all letters. We are delighted with his progress and commend Little Green Rascals Organic Day Nursery for their support through this.

Our daughter has moved here recently from another local nursery and she’s settled in very quickly. The variety of activities available to them is fantastic and she gets plenty of time outside which she really enjoys. The food is varied and she appears to enjoy it all! Would highly recommend this nursery venue.

My daughter has been to three nurseries as a result of relocation. Although she couldn’t express this, it was clear that she was not happy at the last one (unlike the first and this one). Since attending LGR, she has clearly returned to her happy self, her confidence has improved and she is developing well. She never wants to leave LGR in the evenings, she absolutely loves the team and the nursery!

Everything about Little Green Rascals is fantastic. My little one absolutely loves going. Can’t recommend them enough!

I love the forest school as she enjoys being outdoors more than anything, she goes on a fun walk or activity at least once a week and has already enjoyed a trip to the castle museum. On the occasions when she has been upset all the staff have comforted her and helped to reassure her. The only thing I’m sad about is that she’s only spending a year here before starting school!

We’ve had children at Little Green Rascals for four years now and would never think of using a different nursery. I’m confident that my kids are getting the best care there. The staff are so caring and kind to the children, and friendly and approachable to the parents. The rooms are beautiful and the toys/surroundings are all high quality and beautifully made. We value the forest school approach and that the children are encouraged to be outside all year round. Thank you LGR for providing such a beautiful caring environment!

I am so, so happy that we picked this nursery for our son. The variety in the activities each day promotes their development. The food on offer is second to none. The atmosphere in the nursery is so calming, caring and fun and the staff really know our son and his personality. Our son has been here for 4 months so far and I haven't had a single issue. I couldn't recommend it more.

My first impression of the nursery was back in February when my twin granddaughters joined Little Green Rascals. The staff were very friendly and the environment was so child-friendly (not necessarily seen in some nurseries).

As my grandchildren have become used to this environment I have seen such a difference in them both. They now interact more easily with friends and family who they don’t see often. Their relationship with the associated nursery staff is such that they appear to enjoy their days there.

I could not be more pleased with their development in such a relatively short time. This is down to the attention that is afforded them while they are in your care.

I look forward to seeing them grow in character and emotional intelligence.

My daughter has been attending the full-time sessions (5 days a week) for more than a year now. I do not have words to say how happy she is in the nursery. At the beginning it was hard, but the staff (every single girl), they are amazing! You can say they work as a team and look after all the babies/toddlers. Every day is planned and the toddlers really enjoy their day. in addition, they can have extra curriculum lessons. Very happy with the nursery so far!

The review has been provided for a member of staff who works in the pre-school room. She clearly has a wealth of experience working with children. She is able to adapt her style and communication techniques to get the best out of the children. She is passionate about their development and this clearly shows. She gets to know each child really well, understanding their likes/dislikes to get the best out of them and encourage them. She has a very warm personable and engaging personality. I can always rely on her to provide me with updates/my child's development etc. I feel assured my child is safe in her care. I cannot praise or recommend her enough and my daughter adores her.

I honestly couldn't wish for a better standard of nursery for my two boys to attend. The staff here are fantastic and care for my children in the best possible way. The facilities are brilliant, extra activities such as Forest School and French classes. It really is fantastic. Would recommend without hesitation!

This nursery is excellent and my little boy has blossomed and gained in confidence because of his experience at Little Green Rascals. The staff are kind and caring, the facilities conducive to learning and the food is good quality and nutritious. Even if I were not working I would send my son here for a rounded early-life experience.
