Thank you for all you do, from the office team through to the practitioners, their tenacity and attention to detail is exceptional. The time my little rascal has spent at this nursery has truly been a wonderful experience. I cannot recommend you enough!!

Both our children go to Little Green Rascals Day Nursery Tadcaster Road 3 days a week. Both have settled in very quickly, starting at 3 years old and 11 months. They are enjoying their time there thanks to the extremely caring staff and lovely activities. We have seen our eldest grow in confidence and build friendships, she is also making good progress with phonics and getting ready for school. Finally, the focus on sports/outdoor activities is exceptional, forest school, yoga, rugby, and mini kicks, are making a real difference.

We would always recommend Little Green Rascals to friends and although we have no more kids, if we do they will come here. The car park is very very good.

Staff members who have looked after our daughter have been amazing. Our daughter has formed such a bond having updates via the app with photos and what they have been up to and eaten throughout the day has been incredibly comforting, love receiving updates through the app.

Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road is a very good nursery. Our second child is there currently, following in the footsteps of our first. Whilst it is not the cheapest nursery, there are no hidden expenses like nappies, sun cream, meals, etc. A few slight concerns are creeping in since the founder and owner sold the group to a national nursery chain, giving rise to concerns that activities such as "Forest School" may be phased out, which would be a shame as our kids both loved it.

We changed to Little Green Rascals and the change was instant! He enjoyed his settling-in days exploring the room and not shying away from the children. He is now a very happy confident little boy again who joins in with all the fab sensory activities! I feel the staff really know him from the way they report at the end of the day. They have fab insight into development and I know they have been instrumental in encouraging his learning. They encourage independence in a very nurturing way. The food is incredible and organic, the receptionist and car park attendant are very warm and welcoming. It just is a beautiful little nursery and I’m so glad we made the switch and got our happy cheeky monkey back!

Finally, there are not enough words to describe my gratitude for my son’s key worker. She is so genuinely invested in his happiness and wellbeing, and my son adores her. What more could you hope for when you leave your heart with someone to take care of each day? One day he will move on from nursery but I’ll always remember the impact his key worker made on his little life (and ours). Thank you Little Green Rascals!

Staff at Little Green Rascals are very enthusiastic and keen to get to know each child individually. There are new activities for the children to engage in every day. The meals are varied and healthy.

We’re really happy with the nursery. They encourage independence and our little boy loves that and has developed a lot since joining a few months ago. The food is great and most importantly the staff are lovely and really engaged - so many great activities!

My boy has been going to Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road since he was 10 months and his journey throughout the years has been wonderful. He has become very close to his key workers in every room and absolutely loves going to the nursery. The staff are the backbone of this place and you couldn’t ask for more.

Really pleased with Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road! My daughter has flourished since joining. The staff are welcoming as soon as you walk in and the tell is my daughter’s reaction to going to nursery - it took her about two mornings until she ran in without looking back, which is always a good sign. She loves the staff and her key worker!

We love Little Green Rascals, my 3rd daughter just started in Wiggly Worms. The level of care is of a very high standard, the staff is great and nothing is too much to ask. They are kind and friendly and very caring toward the children. My 9-year-old went there and still staff are very kind and friendly talking to her. When an issue is raised it is dealt with promptly for the interest of the children. Food is amazing and now we are being offered breakfast on the go for parents which I think it is very thoughtful as we are rushing in the morning to get to work on time. I can't praise enough this nursery, not perfect but who is?

Little Green Rascals is a wonderful, nurturing environment for the children that attend. The staff are caring and qualified in their field and my little one loves her days at nursery. As a very anxious first-time mum they provide the reassurance and support that I need that, my precious baby, is in the best place for her development.

My son has been going to Little Green Rascals for the last 9 months and really enjoys his time at nursery. All his room staff are great and he is always talking about them at home. I trust the nursery with his care completely.

Excellent care from really engaged staff. They are always good with feedback and general communication. The regular reviews are really helpful in understanding my child's development and providing insight into focus areas.

Our child joined Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road in the autumn of 2022 as a preschooler and we’ve had a very good experience overall. While there was some staff changeover in our child’s room in the first few months due to illnesses and staff shortages, we always felt that they were being well cared for and that the staff were providing a stimulating and nurturing environment. Now some of the staff challenges have been resolved which has meant increased organisation and communication. Our child is happy at the nursery, with no complaints. The only thing that was a little different than advertised is that they don’t have any animals (although they did just get some Guinea pigs), do forest school (though I believe they are planning to restart in the summer) or have language lessons, as I had read on the Little Green Rascals website. I’m not actually sure how large the outdoor space is as I’ve not seen it, it doesn’t seem huge from the pictures. However, we would still rate it as excellent and recommend it to other families.

My little girl has gone to Little Green Rascals Tadcaster Road since 9 months and now Bishopthorpe before and after school and school club . The staff are great with kids understanding with parents and helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending Little Green Rascals. My little girl loves it and has learnt a lot in preparation for school and now she is at school.

Our daughter started in the baby room at Little Green Rascals in January 2019 and we have instantly been welcomed into the nursery family. The staff are absolutely gorgeous and so caring towards our little girl and incredibly sensitive to her and our needs. We could not feel happier and more comfortable when we drop her off for her days of fun with the Little Green Rascals team. Thank you for being so wonderful!
