There is an adventure garden to the rear of the nursery, which has a mud kitchen, large sand pit and wooden play equipment. The ICT suite allows children to explore learning digitally.

My twins have been at this nursery for over a year and we are delighted with our choice. The staff are so caring and know my children extremely well even though they are not attending full time. They have supported me whenever I've asked for advice and take any concerns I have about my child's development
or behaviour very seriously.
There's a lovely atmosphere in the nursery and staff from all the different rooms know my children by name and take a great interest in their well being.

We have twins, so finding a nursery that enables them to grow as individuals was always going to be a challenge. Poppies Old Windsor has risen to the challenge. Our children love going to the nursery, they are energetic, inquisitive and come home full of each day's learnings.
The team at Poppies are
brilliant, and my son and daughter know everyone's names, they are not afraid to be themselves and truly love the team that looks after them.
We couldn't have wished for a better nursery and start to their education. Brilliant.

Excellent nursery!
My daughter has been going to Poppies for nearly 2 years and absolutely loves it! The staff are caring and kind and she has such a special bond with them! I could not recommend them more!

From day one we felt extremely comfortable leaving our son at Poppies. The team provide a great update each day on our son's progress and activities. Our son's social skills have come on really well since joining the nursery. The staff are all amazing. Hands on team. Fantastic support, guidance, advice.

My daughter started here in June. She has thrived in the baby nest reaching numerous milestones in quick succession. She loves the staff which makes it easier to leave her there each day. We are so pleased that Poppies is our local nursery.

My son has been going to Poppies Day Nursery Old Windsor for 1.5 years, he started in The Baby Room and now in The Little Explorers. The staff are kind, friendly and have a real connection with my son.
He has developed really well with speech, feeding, mastering relationships with both staff and children.
The
staff go the extra mile at the nursery and give daily feedback on key aspects of the child.
He enjoys the days with fun, education and play, and his confidence around people is very strong. Poppies Day Nursery Old Windsor provide excellent care for my child, giving me the feeling I can go to work without feeling nervous.
They have a good structure and my son responds well to the routine they provide, which supports his home life routine.
I would highly recommend this nursery as the activities, outdoor space, education and learning are very strong and my son is growing into a secure confident and loved child due to his daily experiences at Poppies Day Nursery Old Windsor.

We are extremely pleased with Poppies Day Nursery. Our daughter has been going there for 2 years. The quality of care from the staff in all rooms has been excellent. Our daughter has had some health ‘challenges’ and all staff have worked with us overcome them and provided further support to the parents.
The food is freshly prepared and organic and our daughter probably eats a healthier and more varied diet than her parents! Our daughter really enjoys the garden area. It has an abundance of activities from slides, bikes, and a sand pit etc. The management at the nursery are helpful and friendly and take the time to get to know the parents. All staff are excellent and we have been very happy with each of the key carers. The true measure of a nursery is how happy the children are. On many, many occasions our daughter does not want to leave to come home (which is slightly embarrassing!) but just goes to show how much she enjoys the nursery. I would not hesitate to recommend the Nursery.

With twins, there is always a risk of care and attention being grouped together. The staff go to great lengths to monitor and encourage each child and provide detailed daily reports of how each child's day went - highlighting similarities and differences that even I did not know about!


The twins

are always happy going to the nursery each morning, bonding strongly with their carer and the rest of the room team and enjoy varied activities. Their behaviour is developing, their eating has improved massively - it is clear they enjoy being here.


The communication with staff and management is always responsive and clear.


As a first time parent, I worried about leaving my children in the care of others, but we are so glad to have decided on Poppies, I drop the twins off each morning and my mind is at ease that they are in a safe, clean, well-managed environment with their happiness and development the nursery's top priority.
Would I recommend Poppies Old Windsor? From my experience Yes.

Poppies Old Windsor is an absolutely fantastic day nursery!
The staff are excellent, as well as friendly, approachable and understanding.


My little boy has attended the baby room since Jan 2016 and loves it! He has built up brilliant relationships with his key carer and many of the other staff!!

He loves going and at 13 months you can see how excited he is each morning. The garden is gorgeous now it's summer too.


He is well fed, completes a variety of activities each day and has progressed beyond recognition. He also started crawling forwards there at 12 months old.


Poppies Old Windsor is home-from-home, we can depend on the staff for anything.

I was nervous about having my girls go into a daycare environment (they started when they were 20 & 9 months). I had no need to worry. Both my daughters have blossomed at Poppies and, they look forward to going each day.
Each of their primary carer's could not have been more fabulous.
My youngest
was very attached (and still is) to her primary carer which made the task of leaving her each morning a lot easier.
I am very grateful for the staff's special attachment to my children. They are always able to give me an in-depth view of what they see as each of my daughter's abilities and milestones and are always quick to give them cuddles throughout the day.
Having two very young girls can be tricky when walking them back to the car but all the staff have always been there to offer an extra hand, even walking outside to the parking lot with no shoes just to help me put the girls in!
I sincerely recommend Poppies!

Hi, my name is Komal.


I have been working in the childcare industry for 19 years.


My interest in teaching and education started from my Year 10 work experience week, which then led me to pursue a qualification in childcare at college.


After qualifying, I started my first job as a Nursery Nurse, and soon after, I was given various opportunities to work my way up the ladder to become a Room Leader, Deputy Manager and then, Nursery Manager.


Working in Early Years has always been a huge passion of mine, and I take great pleasure in seeing children flourish and become resilient little learners.


I am dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. I love working closely with families to ensure consistency in the child’s development and enhancing their overall well-being.


I enjoy leading an enthusiastic team to ensure we provide all our children with high-quality experiences and opportunities that enable them to flourish and give them the best start in life.
