My child is about to leave Poppies at school age, she’s been here almost full time since 10 months old. This place has been a wonderful second home to her. Can’t recommend it enough. Going to miss all the familiar faces of caring staff.

Our daughter has very much enjoyed her time at Poppies Day Nursery Old Windsor. The team is friendly and we have no doubts or concerns about leaving her with them for the day. The feedback we receive is detailed and useful. Her development in many areas has definitely been a result of attending Poppies. Would highly recommend it.

We have been beyond impressed with Poppies. Our little boy started this year in the Baby Nest and his key worker and all the ladies have showered him with love and given us the confidence to go back to work knowing he is in safe and wonderful hands.

My daughter has joined the nursery a few days ago but I am very pleased so far. All the girls are very nice and kind. From the very beginning are trying to welcome my daughter. More comments and reviews to follow as we are very new at the nursery.

Great Nursery and Staff, they have been amazing and I am beyond happy we found this place. Great food and care. Little one loves going and even wants to stay at pick-ups on occasion as he's had so much fun.

Me and my husband are extremely pleased with Poppies Day Nursery Old Windsor. We have had both our children (youngest still there) at Poppies from about 6 months old. The team is amazing and feels like a second home for my kids, they love going and talk about the staff at home or do role play that they are at nursery with the staff. Over the last 5 years, things have changed but this has never affected the kids and I feel that the staff goes more than the extra mile. Big well done to the full team!

We transferred into the Big Explorers room from another nursery at Easter. Since then, our daughter has come on leaps and bounds with her development and learning. She can't wait to go each day and chatters constantly about all the activities she has been up to. The staff have clearly worked hard to help her settle in and have made sure to give her the time and attention she needed after an unsettling experience previously to enable her to thrive.

My self and my husband are extremely happy with Poppies Day Nursery. Our son settles in very quickly which is a great indicator of how lovely and attentive the staff are. We have noticed how much his development has come on since starting which shows he is having fun while learning important skills. The staff always do a lovely handover so you know what your child has been up to each day. I would highly recommend them to friends and family.

My husband and I are extremely happy with Poppies and how the team care for our twin girls. Since they joined the baby nest at 12 months old the team have been fantastic. A lovely caring, nurturing and progressive nursery with lots of fantastic outdoor space and a balanced menu.

Our son only recently joined Poppies after moving to the area. We were really worried as he loved his old nursery but I can’t say enough good things about how welcoming they’ve been to him. He’s settled right in and is thriving. The level of professionalism and care all the staff take is exemplary and he comes out laughing every evening. All the staff takes the time to give you a full day report as well as one you take home with you and they also have a great portal where they load up pictures and videos and encourage the parents to contribute. He seems to have learnt things every day he comes home and always has a painting or some form of crafts with him.

We have used Poppies Old Windsor for a number of years with both our children attending. The staff are great and have a fantastic relationship with the children. We couldn’t be happier with the nursery and would recommend to anyone looking for a great local nursery.

My son is leaving Poppies after two wonderful years there. He started at 11 months old and has been in baby nest, little explorers and big explorers. All the staff are caring and have taken the time to get to know my son's needs. They offer a wide variety of activities as well as providing three nutritional meals a day. My son has loved his time at Poppies and we are in no doubt it has prepared him well for when he starts preschool next term.

An excellent, well run nursery. Our daughter has been there six months and we have only positive things to say - kind staff, organised, efficient when you have questions and most importantly our daughter loves it. Our youngest will be following shortly.

My daughter started Poppies 3 months ago, we were a little worried with how she would settle but the staff made the whole process run smoothly and always put my child first. They were welcoming and wanted to find out everything about her to support her through her journey. This was very reassuring. She settled very well and surprised us with going straight in and not even looking back! She has built strong relationships with the staff, they provide lots of care, attention and fun for the children which can be seen when collecting my daughter. The space available is great for the children to play and learn, especially the garden area. The food provided is proving a hit with my daughter who eats well! The cook was attentive and asked questions to ensure her dietary requirements were met. Overall we are very pleased with the Nursery and look forward to watching our daughter grow and develop.

A friendly, caring atmosphere. All staff understand the needs of the children. What my children learnt there, at times has been much more advanced than we had anticipated. My little boy learnt Spanish. The bonds my children had with the staff was amazing. Thank you to all.

My son went to Poppies when he was 2 years old. He cried when I left him but he was rather happy when I picked him up, so I am sure the team members were very nice to him and they have enough experience with children.

We are Chinese and we speak Cantonese at home. For this reason, my son knew little English at the beginning. But after 3 months, he could speak big sentences. After one year, his English is catching up with his friends at his age! He got more and more confidence and he made friends in the nursery. He began to be happier and happier and had no tears when I leave. Even because he is old enough to the second school, he still asking me when he can go back to this nursery! He misses his teachers and his friends maybe because he has an unforgettable memory.

We recommend this nursery for you because all the staff are so nice and the environment is tidy and clean.

If we weren't moving out of the area I would be more than happy to leave my son at Poppies with the fantastic team they have. We will be very sad to leave!

Most importantly to me - our children are extremely happy at Poppies - they constantly talk about the staff, the children and love going in every day. This is a testament to the atmosphere the team have developed at the nursery - they should be extremely proud.

My son has been at Poppies for nearly a year and loves it. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and know all the children by name. They are really good at catering for the individual needs of a child- as my son is quite shy at first, he needs lots of patience and comfort to come out of his shell. I have noticed such a change in his confidence and its lovely to see.

The daily activities are great and varied. It allows the children to discover new skills and interests. The nursery is always a lovely, clean, bright environment and very inviting- we couldn't ask for more. I also really love the detailed feedback every day from the staff of what he has been up to. Returning to work isn't easy but it is made much better when you know your child is happy and in safe hands.

I couldn't recommend Poppies enough!
