Creative Explorers Day Nursery - Hornsey

Couldn’t recommend Creative Explorers more.

My two boys (1 and 3 years old) both love it at Creative Explorers. The staff are incredibly caring and I have never had any worry about my children when they are at nursery. There is lots of feedback about what the boys do during the day. The rooms are big and bright and the preschool has a lovely garden. My 3-year-old is learning so much at preschool that he is constantly surprising me. I recommend the nursery to local people all the time and really can't praise it enough.

Lovely staff! My little boy is always smiling and so happy to see them, I know he's having a wonderful time.

My daughter has been at the baby and toddler site since she was 11 months old (she's now 18 months) and I could not be happier with the care she has received there from all of the staff. Everyone has worked so hard to care for her and shown so much kindness and love. Leaving your child in someone else's care is such a huge decision, but we have been so pleased that we found Creative Explorers and have only positive things to say about it!

Our experience with creative explorers has been nothing but positive. We have been made to feel very welcome and they have looked after our little one, the youngest there very well indeed for 3 days a week while Mum went back to work. We're now leaving London, otherwise would have stayed with them through pre-school. Very professional, hardworking and flexible.

Our son attended both the nursery and preschool at Creative Explorers. He has developed a great deal during his time there and was supported by a great staff and a fantastic key worker. The Creative Explorers team did very well in providing a safe and comfortable environment in which our son could express himself and play freely. We also appreciated the way they always kept us informed about his activities, interactions with the other children, his speech development and his meals. During this time he has come off nappies and we couldn't have done his potty training without Creative Explorers.

He is socialising with people and children so much more, which not only I have noticed. Already you can see how much my son has grown and it is all down to the staff of Creative Explorers, I am so grateful.

All the staff are so welcoming and have created such a warm and loving environment. Even when I go to pick him up, I have a chat with all staff and they can all tell me how my son has been, what they have been doing and have made my son’s first schooling experience so special.

The staff have a special talent of making my son feel so special every time he goes to school and has made me feel so at ease I can talk to the staff about anything. I feel this should be recognised.

Our son went here from the age of 1 and loved it. He initially found the transition from home quite challenging but the staff did everything they could to help him settle and he did get there eventually and he has grown into a confident little man who loves going to nursery. He has especially enjoyed all the songs and dancing. They put on lots of special events including the hatching of ducklings this year! The baby journal allowed us the keep track of his sleep, eating and nappy changes. He was very fond of the food too and nearly always "ate all"! We found dealing with the management very straightforward - from booking a place, to paying via childcare vouchers to terminating the contract; this was always an efficient, easy experience and the nursery is quite obviously managed to a very high standard while retaining the personal touch of a family business. I can wholeheartedly recommend Creative Explorers. We cannot thank the whole team enough for all the love and care they have shown our son.

My child has really developed at Creative Explorers. My wife and I are in the creative industries so wanted a nursery that values creativity. Although he goes just 3 days a week, he can't wait to go in in the mornings and seems to really enjoy his days. The staff are really nice and well trained. The facilities are really good too. They seem to do lots of interesting things, many creative. The big mystery is how they manage to get him to eat things we can't get him to eat like fish fingers? We have loads of nurseries in the Crouch End, Hornsey area so was spoilt for choice. We are really happy we picked Creative Explorers. As for cost, probably the best value for money in N8.

Although his time there ended recently, he remembers the place well with much happiness as we go past. Wishing the team all the very best - and look forward to seeing you again from time to time!

We are very happy to have our daughter at Creative Explorers Nursery. The manager was extremely supportive and understanding throughout the process of enrolment and our daughter now loves her friends and her days there. The staff are attentive and professional and it feels as though they truly care about the children. Highly recommended!

My son went to Creative Explorers from 11 months (when I went back to work) until 20 months (when we left London), and we were really happy with our experience, and he was very happy and settled there too (first experience with childcare so we were a bit anxious!). He was in the baby room, where the 2 main staff/his key worker were the same the whole time he was there. We felt that as well as being looked after, doing activities, etc, all the things that you'd expect at a nursery, that he was actually cared for, and that they understood him and knew him. Every day they would take the time to explain how he'd been, what he'd done etc. The nursery is really well run and well managed, you can see there are systems in place, it's very clean, food cooked on site with lots of fruit and veg... Again, really great experience, there is a very caring, cosy and friendly atmosphere there.

My daughter loves it there, she's been going since she was 9 months old and is now two. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, on collection we get a daily update of everything that's been going on. It's amazing all the new things she learns on a daily basis. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Thanks to all the team for providing such a fun and safe environment for our daughters to play and learn! Full of different and exciting events! Positive impression all round. Would definitely recommend.

The manager and her team have created such a warm and happy atmosphere in their nursery that the smiles seem infectious. We are moving out of the area, and are very sad that our lad will have to say goodbye to all his friends and the wonderful staff, but it has given us real peace of mind to know that our boy was in such loving and capable hands. We highly recommend Creative Explorers.

I cannot recommend Creative Explorers more, our child started at 11 months old and they did everything to reassure him and us of his well being. He was taken care of so well and developed so well, he definitely learned a lot. We felt like he really be benefited from his time there. The communication between the staff and us was excellent and we knew he was in safe hands. The only reason our time with the nursery ended was our decision to leave the UK. We would be lucky to find another nursery as good.

Our little girl has been attending creative explorers for 7 months now. We are first time parents and this is our first experience with a nursery. From the start the team have been excellent. Communication has been clear and the care for our daughter has been excellent. This is evident in the fact that she is always happy when we collect her and drop her off, she has rarely been ill since starting (we were expecting her to pick up every bug going but have been lucky so far) and her development has come on in leaps and bounds. Her settling in was structured and it really didn't take long before she was waving me goodbye! The staff show a real love for the children and it has certainly made my experience as a first time mum so much easier. The location is also excellent for commuting to the city! We are sad that we are moving out of the area and have had to find a new nursery closer to our new home! But would recommend Creative Explorers highly.
