Creative Explorers Day Nursery - Hornsey

Our child has been at Creative Explorers Nursery and Preschool. We couldn’t be happier with the experience - the staff is amazing, caring and lovely and there are always lots of creative and fun activities. The management team has always gone above and beyond to support and accommodate us and our child.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Creative Explorers. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nurturing, educational environment for their children. We will be relocating to another country in a month and I am aware that it will be very hard to find an environment that is as good for my daughter to grow and develop.

My son loves going to Creative Explorers Day Nursery and talks about the activities they do in class when he comes home in the evening. The staff are caring but also can be firm and ensures they instil discipline and the right values in the children. Creative stands out for the events they organise for the kids, from summer parties to bringing in animal/insect handlers (the kids were super excited) to getting the local policemen to talk to them about what they do. They even brought in real reindeer for the Christmas parties. It's the thought that goes into these that makes them exceptional.

Cannot rate this nursery highly enough. My daughter started at 9 months old, during Covid and they made the whole transition effortless. She absolutely loves going to nursery and her development has been incredible. All of the staff care so much for all the children. It really is a small family! My daughter has a food allergy and they have been great at managing this.

Creative Explorers Day Nursery is a wonderful nursery that my son has really benefitted from. All the staff, from the carers to the management are fantastic and genuinely have the children’s best interests front of mind all the time. My son has loved going there and has flourished under their care. For me, the best aspects of the nursery (apart from the care provided by the staff) are the variety of creative activities offered (from discovering new countries to cooking) and the nutritious and healthy meals provided. The reason I have given four stars for facilities/outside space and resources is because there is no outside space dedicated to the nursery and the inside space is fairly compact; however, the children are taken out every day (weather permitting) and there is some indoor play equipment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the nursery to any parents.

We can't praise or recommend Creative Explorers Day Nursery enough! Our son started around 12 months old and he went full-time until we moved to a house in a new area a year later so sadly meant he couldn't continue otherwise we would have kept going until he needed to go to school. We already knew this at the time, but it's really put into context how brilliant Creative Explorers is now we have joined a new nursery who are good, but simply do not compare! What we especially loved was how creative they are with the kids - truly impressive attitude to enabling kids to be curious and the crafts we saw them doing were fantastic. It was reassuring to know that while we were working, they were having so much fun too. The Famly app is excellent so we could see all the pics and updates throughout the day. The menu was impressive too. But our favourite part of the nursery was hands down the staff - they are wonderful, so caring, and we genuinely felt they had our son's best interests at heart. Always.

I have sent both my sons to Creative Explorers and have been using them for childcare for five years. They are an incredibly special place and I have felt so secure and happy about the love and care they have given my children. The staff are kind, fun and loving. I would absolutely recommend Creative Explorers to anyone!

The staff of Creative Explorers Day Nursery has been extraordinary with our two kids, and they both enjoyed their time there very much! Started in baby room and all the way through pre-school, having fun in the newly refurbished, big garden and playing all the amazing activities the teachers organised for them! I keep recommending this nursery, good value for money and very supportive management! Thanks Creative for the nice years, for the precious teaching and the care towards our children!

Creative Explorers Day Nursery is a fantastic place for your child or children. My first born was one years old when he started in the baby room and to this day we think it's the best decision we made. At Creative Explorers Day Nursery they focus on your child's needs and the variety of activities they have is unparalleled. They are really advanced with their teaching methods, have fantastic facilities in both sites, toddlers and preschool and have extremely enthusiastic, professional and responsible staff, who genuinely care about every single child and their development. I can go on forever about how good they are. I'm so happy my child goes there. I have suggested Creative Explorers Day Nursery to many of my neighbouring friends and I am pleased to know that my second child will be starting her exploration at Creative Explorers Day Nursery from September 2021, it is time for her new adventure.

I sent my daughter to Creative Explorers when she was one. All I can say is that’s it’s such a terrific nursery! The kindest staff who were so nurturing it totally put my mind at ease. She settled so quickly and loved going each day. They take them out to the park all the time and do the best indoor activities, lots of singing/dancing/messy play. My little girl thrived there, slept well, ate well and developed so much. Her speech came on so much! I’m so sad we have to take her out, the only reason being we are relocating out of London. I’m worried I will never find another nursery as good as Creative Explorers. It’s just wonderful.

Of all the nurseries I saw, Creative Explorers Day Nursery stood out for me because it was warm, friendly and caring. My daughter started there at age 13 months until she was over 3 years old. She bonded well with the staff who were attentive and showed genuine care. They use Tapestry, the online journal, which was a great way to communicate with parents and to get a sense of what they do at the nursery. She loved all the activities and formed close friendships with other children. We were sad to say goodbye.

Wonderful nursery. My toddler loved his time there and we’re sad to leave. The staff are caring and affectionate and have a genuine bond with the children. Activities are always fun and varied, with lots of outdoor play.

Lovely and very caring staff. It’s amazing to see that they manage to keep all children so happy all of the time. Great indoor facilities with a little playground nearby outside.

Creative Explorers Nursery has been recommended to us by a friend, and we have not regretted choosing them. Both our children have been attending this nursery since they were 13 months old. They are now both at the preschool site and they love going there every day. The newly updated garden is just amazing, children do a lot of activities outdoors. Management, teachers and other nursery staff are all very helpful, caring, and pay a lot of attention to our children. Wish them all well.

Creative Explorers is a very happy and nurturing environment, and the staff really care about the development and wellbeing of all the children. The communication is fantastic, both at the end of the day with key workers and other staff, and from management and via the online learning journal. Our son’s key worker in particular has so much time for his development and teaching, and they have a lovely relationship. He talks about the staff and the other children when he’s at home, and always seems very happy to be there.

My daughter has attended this nursery since October 2018 and she absolutely loves it there. The staff are ever so helpful and friendly. My daughter really likes the staff and her friends at nursery and mentions this a lot at home. The nursery has an online platform that parents can access via a specific code. This platform has frequent updates and pictures as well as videos of your little one which is brilliant. Highly recommend this nursery.

Fantastic nursery and preschool. Highly recommended by us. Run by the manager and her awesome team. All staff are friendly and fun and importantly really care. My daughter loves Creative Explorers, which is the greatest testimony going!

Wonderful nursery, really couldn't hope for anything more. Amazing and caring staff . Very attentive and show a genuine interest in the children. The facilities are well-kept and my son is really happy.
