Our 2 and a half-year-old attends Fennies.
The teachers are very enthusiastic and caring and it seems that everyone has a lot of fun in the nursery.
The garden is great and the indoors area is large with plenty of activities to engage the kids.

Selection of food offered is very varied and good for encouraging picky eaters.

Staff really caring, communication excellent.
My child seems really happy which is a huge comfort when you have to leave your child for the day.
Staff are always very enthusiastic and have been understanding given my child's medical and on occasion behavioural issues.

Really lovely ladies!

Overall Experience

My daughter attended Fennies, Epsom since she was 1 year old and this September she went to school. I have to say the experience we had throughout our time at Fennies was amazing and she has transitioned so well which I put this down to her experience at Fennies. She was so school ready, and this was from all of the work her key person had invested in her. She knew her phonics, numbers up to 30, she could write her name and could interact with pupils and teachers in a way that has made her very socially confident. The nursery management team create a family friendly environment and I could not recommend this enough.

I have been sending my son to Fennies in Epsom since May 2016 and I have been extremely happy with the nursery and staff. Everyone is very welcoming and they are genuinely pleased to see my son when he arrives in the morning. Activities are very varied, the food menu is excellent and the facilities are very clean and modern. I have recommended Fennies to my friends and am very happy that I chose this nursery. It is very convenient for the train station if you are commuting into the city, and there is plenty of storage for you to leave your buggy.

This Nursery is having a group of inexperienced staff members. Manager has no vision for the nursery. There is poor communication between parents/manager/staff.

Keyperson of the child is changed very frequently.

My son has attended Fennies for the past 2 years.
It is an amazing nursery with great resources. The staff and management team are friendly and welcoming making me feel relaxed when leaving him.
The building and facilities are by far better than other nurseries locally that I have visited.

Highly recommend this nursery.

Although my son has just left the nursery, I thought I'd state how happy and comfortable the staff had made him feel there, which automatically made me feel at ease and trusting towards them within my son's care. He had great bonds with both children and staff. I had nothing but positive feedback from him after an activity fun filled day.
The staff communicate with you really well about the things your child has done during their stay with them. They also took important information about your child i.e asthma/allergies etc. on board very seriously and professionally.

I can't fault the nursery, only recommend!

My daughter started at Fennies in Epsom in July. She is a very shy child and I was extremely nervous about her starting here as I was afraid she wouldn't interact with any children or make friends due to her being very shy at her old nursery and not wanting to talk to anybody except the adults. I'm so happy with how she is getting on here and her key worker, has made me feel very comfortable and I know she is going to be well looked after in her care.

Now when I collect my daughter at the end of the day I can usually hear her voice chattering away to the other children before I see her and she's always raving about a painting she's done that day. It's amazing to see her with this new found confidence. She raves about her "new school" and even tells me that she "loves her new school". I would recommend this nursery to anybody and can't thank the staff enough for helping her settle in so well.

My son attends Fennies one day a week, since attending here his development and speech has improved. He plays alongside other children and has lots of close friends.

The staff that care for him are like a part of the family, they treat him as if he was their own child which makes me feel at ease when I leave him.

My little boy has now been there for 3 months, he found it hard to settle at first but the girls in the Baby room were very patient and reassuring, spending time to talk to my husband and I every day. The Nursery is spotless and can't say a bad word about the resources inside and outside for the children. The outdoor area is child proof and has an amazing water feature. The parents are given a daily sheet that has all the information on what the children have been up to all day and is nice to see how much effort the staff put into all the activities that the children enjoy.

My little boy eats everything and got to take home sample dinners the chef has made for a new variety menu every month. The security of the nursery is amazing, nobody can get into the nursery without a manager letting you in. I am very happy at this nursery and the staff are lovely, they are very approachable if you have any worries or concerns.

My 3 year old daughter has been attending Fennies on a part time basis since January 2016 and loves her time there. We have noticed significant development in her confidence and abilities since she started.
There is plenty of space in each room and a brilliantly designed outdoor area for the kids to play in.
Art and crafts, messy play, song time, story time, cake making - all activities are carefully thought through and my daughter loves to recreate them at home.
There have been several changes of management and staff since we started but to positive effect. There is excellent communication and a weekly email update of any nursery news. The food is varied and menus are communicated weekly.
Drop off and pick up are often frantic but the staff always make themselves available to give feedback on how the day went.

Parents are given plenty of opportunities to join in the fun!

More external trips out would be good.

Overall a great nursery, would thoroughly recommend.

Overall we are extremely satisfied with the nursery.

Excellent staff, always happy to welcome my 3 year old at drop off. Very informative during pick up, providing a very helpful daily summary sheet with key moments of the day.

Since joining, my 3 year old has picked up many skills and I am very satisfied with her progress.

My Son has attended Fennies in Epsom since it opened. I could not praise the staff, the food, the activities or the space more! My Sons speech and his ability to interact with children and adults has come on leaps and bounds since attending. He wants to take all the staff home with him at the end of each day and other than the adult size Peppa Pig which seems to scare him (and drops in occasionally to play with the children) he loves every minute of every day. The outdoor play area and the all the areas inside have had no expense spared. The staff are always teaching the children new words or shapes or colours and the range of daily activities should be commended. One staff member reports to us each day when he is collected with how he ate, what he did and his nappy change schedule. Mum and Dad couldn't be happier and our son is extremely happy.

My child has attended Fennies Epsom part time for just over a year. The staff have been fantastic. They truly care about the children and build close bonds. Our little one often speaks of the staff when she is not there, we receive a daily handover of our little ones day that includes reports of all the activities, naps, toilet times, meals and any special news. We also are given any items our daughter has made that day.
The staff take the children out for trips in the local area and use the nursery garden daily which is all weather astro turfed with many toys.
We have found our daughter has progressed in her knowledge significantly by attending nursery. At 2 years of age she knows all parts of body, can count to 15, colours, days of week and is learning about time. This is on top of what she learns at home. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

They really work with parents to accommodate their needs and they work to a high standard.

We were disappointed by the lack of stimulation offered to our child and sullen management approach. They no longer provide term time only. So apart from the above it no longer met our needs. Would not recommend. Room for improvement...
