Really positive start for our son, he was helped to settle and adapt really quickly. Hugely welcoming staff who seem to have a great camaraderie and spirit compared to other nurseries. Already been a big leap forward in his speech and understanding.
My son absolutely loves going to nursery and always comes home with a smile on his face. The staff are extremely friendly and he always talks about doing things with them during the day as well as playing with his friends. The most important thing for me is that my son is happy and well looked after. I really feel that the staff at the Gingerbread House care for and know my son well.
My daughter has been at the Gingerbread House since she was 1, she’s now almost 4 years old. We’ve experienced the baby room, Toddler and now pre-School room. She has had a very good experience there so far and the staff are great. They're all very helpful ladies and really do take good care of the kids there. I would definitely recommend the nursery, not only because my daughter is so happy there but also the proximity of Purley Oaks and Sanderstead stations.
My son has been attending The Gingerbread House for the last 18 months. They have been amazing with him, really attentive and caring. He always eats all his food which is a testament to the super onsite cooking! Putting him to bed on a nursery day is always easier as he has been busy and entertained all day!
The setting is lovely with plenty of lovely wooden toys and messy play areas.
My son has been attending Gingerbread House for just over 2 years now and absolutely loves it. He talks affectionately about staff members and always has lots of stories to tell about other children. Staff have always collaboratively worked with us in caring for my son and have been quick to respond to emails/phone calls. I would highly recommend this Gingerbread House Day Nursery.
One area of improvement would be the development of the outdoor space which I believe is on the management’s agenda.
The nursery has been extremely accommodating over our needs and always prompt with emails. My son has an absolute liking for the key workers and despite speaking two languages, they accommodated him very well.
