Englefield Green Day Nursery and Preschool has been purposefully designed with enriching environments and activities to support your child’s development from 3 months to 5 years. They ensure the transition from home to nursery, and then on to school, is a happy and fulfilling journey of learning.
The Nursery love encouraging your child to explore their interests and develop self-confidence as they learn. The spacious, age-appropriate rooms feature plenty of books, art supplies and paper for those creative moments, kitchen areas for role-play, and activities that inspire young minds to see maths in their environment. Daily activities range from painting to yoga, dancing, singing and exploring outdoors. They also have a special milk kitchen and a separate sleep room for under twos.
Every room in the Englefield Green nursery has direct access to the large garden and outdoor play area. These include areas of ‘No Grow’ flooring, safe for all ages and all weather types, ensuring children can explore the outdoors whatever the weather. Outdoor play is as good for the mind as it is for the body, and the practitioners encourage children to question their environment and discover new things. That could be looking for bugs, gathering natural materials for scientific study or observing how the changing seasons impact what is around us.
The nursery in Englefield Green is located on a quiet residential road within the grounds of Royal Holloway University. They provide all-inclusive care, including all nappies, wipes, baby formula and fresh, nutritionally balanced meals prepared by the dedicated on-site chef.

Our son has settled in really well here - he is well cared for and the staff are really attentive to him. They also provide lots of feedback to us as parents about how he is getting on on a day to day basis. He has the opportunity to try out lots of activities, and all of the outdoor space is a real benefit as he gets to explore lots of different environments while at nursery. For us, sending our son here has been a really positive experience!

My daughter started Bright Horizons back in April, i feel she has come along way since, she is thriving in all she tries to achieve and there is a massive thank you to the girls in the babies room for helping with that! I appreciate everything the girls do. They are patient, gentle and caring in all areas and as a anxious first time mum i felt confident and comfortable with my daughter being with these amazing girls. You can see the love my daughter has to her care providers especially her key worker. Also, to add the app they provide where we can keep track of there day is brilliant and seeing the meals my daughters eats is another great thing. Im all round very impressed with Bright Horizon's.

My daughter has recently moved here, and all the staff have been very welcoming and have helped her settle in very quickly. They were also very accommodating around settling in sessions so I could make it work around work and school hours. So far we are very pleased and she seems to be happy here.

She loves going every week and is testament to everyone at Bright Horizon Englefield Green. Ive always felt like she's in the best hands when dropping her off and she has come on leaps and bounds since going and it has built her confidence massively.

My daughter has been attending since she was 10 months old. The staff have been just amazing from the very start. They took so much care helping her settle in when she was new, it really put my mind at ease. My daughter is now approaching 2, and she absolutely loves coming to nursery. She adores all of the staff in her room, and often zooms into the room and gives them a big cuddle in the mornings. They have helped my daughter grow in so many ways, they are all just brilliant. The nursery facilities are great, with lovely outdoor areas that the children love to explore. The management team are also fabulous, they are always approachable and able to help with funding queries and any questions you have. I really couldn't recommend this nursery more.

We are extremely happy with the care that my son receives from the Englefield Green Bright Horizons Team. He has been at the nursery for almost two years and is very settled there. He has transitioned across a couple of rooms and we have found all of the staff to be attentive, kind and nurturing in their approach to him. The management team have been extremely accommodating to my son's health needs.
His development has been enhanced by the varied activities that the nursery staff put on each day and I am always surprised how the staff think of so many different things to do with the children. I really like that the children get outside most days and enjoy the lovely garden space.
The staff are a wonderful team and always friendly and helpful. They maintain excellent communication with the parents and put on a lot of special days for children and parents throughout the year.

This nursery is wonderful! Our little girl has been going here now for 1 year and started at 10 months old. I was so so nervous as she was a co-sleeping Velcro baby that only slept in the carrier and contact napped. The staff were so so good and patient with her. They even held her for first Few naps to gain trust and then they got her to sleep on a mat and she loves her nursery naps now. The team are so kind and loving and all the staff create a home away from home feeling. I also love that they actually always go outside!!! We are nothing but grateful and feel so safe and supported with our toddler going 3 days a week. She has progressed so much and has such a bond with all the staff.
