Bright Horizons Englefield Green Nursery and Preschool

My daughter joined the Englefield Green Nursery after being with a childminder for 9 months. She has been going to the nursery for 4 months now and loves it. When she joined she was made to feel very comfortable and welcome and the staff helped her to settle into the bigger environment and were great on those teary drop-offs. Since then she has formed a really strong bond with her key worker and her speech is starting to develop well. The food that I have seen is excellent and my daughter seems to finish it all off each day - the staff even treat my son to a homemade biscuit or cake if we collect at afternoon snack time. I find the staff to be extremely friendly and all the staff in the room are able to talk about my daughter's day when I collect her. I think the nursery itself is excellent and particularly like the fact that each age group room has their own dedicated outside space.

Brilliant nursery, really warm to the kids and care for them.

It's a really nice nursery. Love the garden which is huge and the fact that they have actual grass and have not very replaced it with synthetics. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

A lovely, friendly nursery with beautiful outside space. Teachers seem to really care and provide a fun, safe environment. I've been very happy!

Our son has really loved his time in this nursery (preschool) and he has learned a lot. The variety of activities allows all children to develop in every aspect of their lives. The staff are outstanding and caring, treating the kids with love and respect, that was the most important thing for us. This is really an exceptional place!

My daughter always leaves nursery happy, tired and full-up. I wouldn't choose anywhere else for her to be looked after.

Have really been impressed with Bright Horizons Nursery, my daughter's key worker has really helped her with learning.

My son really enjoys the nursery and has many friends. I know he likes the staff as well as he's pleased to see them in the morning. His favourite activities are anything outside and he gets lots of opportunities to play in the garden. He enjoys baking and art as well and surprises us at home with songs he has learnt and even trying to count to 10.

Excellent care of my child, they have lots of fun and she is very happy.

We are very happy with our daughter's care and are confident that she is learning in a safe environment.

The staff at the nursery have been fantastic from day one. They have a fantastic settling in programme that is reassuring for the parents as well as the children. They are very focused on the children's development with books to track progress. The activities are very inventive and fun, I like to hear what my son has been up to during the day. The chef at the nursery is brilliant and cooks a very varied nutritious menu that caters for any allergies. Overall I feel very lucky to have found such a fantastic nursery with amazing, caring staff.

Excellent nursery. I would recommend to any friends and family. My son is very happy at the nursery and learns lots and tells me every day something new! Very happy with the services and would only change if I moved too far away.

The nursery has helped with his behaviour. He has also started to eat meat which he didn't at home. I would highly recommend Bright Horizons to friends and family.

I simply can't fault the nursery. The staff are all amazing and fantastic with the children. My son has through all the age rooms and all are fantastic. He is more than ready to start school.

Our daughter is very happy here. We are always happy to leave her in the mornings knowing she is well looked after. She has developed some close bonds with her key workers. She is now starting to talk about her day at nursery and the activities she has been doing.

I am delighted with this nursery, the staff are great and I am very pleased with the way they look after my daughter and how they are helping her to learn. The food is also great and helps my fussy eater explore a varied diet.

Brilliant staff, fun activities for children, my son has been taught many skills which I probably wouldn't have thought to teach him at 2 years old (ie taking plate out after eating) Thoroughly recommend Bright Horizons.

I highly recommend Englefield Green Nursery and Preschool. My oldest child has been there for two years (age 2-4) and is now about to go off to school. She has been in the 3-5 room her whole time, and has been part of the nursery class this year. My youngest child has been there for a year and a half (age 10 months to 2 years 4 months). He has been in the in the baby room (0-2) and is now in the 2-3 room.

They both love the environment, the staff and the other children. I trust the staff implicitly to look after and educate them. The care provided is wonderful and the staff make a big effort to keep me informed of their progress and how their day was. The food provided is always of high quality and they usually have seconds (and sometimes thirds!). The management of the nursery is brilliant. I always get the information I need and very promptly. All the staff at the nursery - across all the rooms - are friendly, knowledgeable and kind. I honestly couldn't recommend the nursery more highly, it's been a wonderful place for my daughter and son.

They were able to answer all of my (many!) questions when choosing a nursery, and had an excellent settling-in programme. My son enjoys his time at nursery and I can go to work confident that he's being well looked after.

The nursery has looked after my daughter since she was 1. She is now nearly 3. They have done an excellent job caring for her through many stages of development in the last 2 years. The staff are great, caring and professional. My daughter loves nursery and now preschool. Fantastic transition plans from year to year.
