The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Stoke

For the short time that we have been with the Orange tree, my little boy had definitely enjoyed his time with all the carers and his friends. We have been updated all the time on my son’s progress. The carers have been so caring and loving with my little boy. I have seen how he developed his speech and interactions with several people just right after we started his nursery, I could not thank them enough.

I can’t express in enough words how fantastic this nursery is. From the minute I walked in the door we were made welcome. My son has been attending for 3 years now and has graduated all the rooms. In every room, every member of staff had taken so much care of him. I honestly am so sad his journey there is coming to an end next year when he goes to school. He absolutely adores all the staff as they do him. The outside space is lovely and well maintained. My son particularly loves the sand pit, climbing frames and mud kitchen. He has grown in confidence since being here. He had a speech delay at one point and they helped him to overcome this so much. Always keeping us in the loop and updated with pictures of his day. Honestly the best decision I ever made sending my son to this nursery. I can’t recommend it enough.

I was very worried about sending my daughter to nursery as she had never been away from me, the girls made the experience much easier for both myself and my daughter and she settled in quickly. She absolutely loves going to nursery and I love seeing the updates on the app while she is there. They assisted me with potty training which was amazing also. I especially love the amount of outdoor play time the children have and this was one of the main reasons I chose here. I couldn’t ask for a better nursery to send my daughter to.

All the staff at The Orange Tree are doing an amazing job looking after our child. They engage in activities each day and are committed to delivering a developmental plan for each child. We feel safe and happy knowing that our child is in such good hands when we drop him off each day.

It would have been very helpful if the nursery offered a settle in week instead of just 2 sessions for 1 hour or even advised me to book half days initially until my little one settled. I had to collect him earlier than planned for the first 2 weeks as he was unsettled and they were unable to cope with him, which was really frustrating and caused me a lot of anxiety. Later on, after he settled, he was a very happy child and enjoyed going there. He might go there again, as he overcame the settling phase. The nursery itself is very clean, follow strict no shoes policy in babies room, which is fab. They also do lots of activities in fresh air.

The staff here are so helpful and friendly. They also put so much effort into really getting to know the children. They have always got a wide range of activities for them to do each day with lots of messy/creative play. Our little girl loves going into nursery!

My daughter has been attending for a year now and has really come on since then. It is amazing to see her development and a lot of that is due to the learning and support provided by The Orange Tree Nursery. Few areas for improvement- the online portal seems to be delayed in sharing updates on the child’s progress or photo log, as sometimes don’t get the updates through until a day or two later. It would be good to get these on a more consistent basis as I like to know how she is getting on in the day. Staff are lovely, however, the handover of key workers between rooms when my daughter transitioned I felt could have been better if I had been personally introduced to her new key workers prior to the move. I felt I had a good relationship with the previous key workers and would like that to be replicated throughout each transition to different rooms. Overall really pleased with the nursery.

My daughter absolutely loved the nursery and we are very happy with her growth, development and the care she receives there. The premises are clean and have a good area with different activities suitable for children at all stages.

Our little girl has been attending here for almost 11months now and has excelled so much in her social and personal development. She really enjoys her days with the team in Blossoms and always comes home smiling. We always get a full update of what she has been doing each day as well as a diary of what she has eaten, when she has napped and how many nappy changes there have been. The time that is spent here is invaluable as it gives her much more than we could give at home both in learning and interaction with other children. Although most of the meals are healthy and nutritious, there are, on occasions, meals that are a little less healthy but that doesn’t worry us as we make up for it with a healthier meal at home. I don’t know what we would have done without the team at The Orange Tree, thank you.

We are so pleased with how our little boy is developing and coming on at nursery. The staff and management team are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and I am 100% confident that he is well looked after and cared for, whilst he is there Monday to Friday. He always comes home with something new he has learnt and as parents, we are involved in his learning with tasks for him to do at home and things to take into nursery. We are updated with what he has done each day and what he has eaten using the online app, which is great. The facilities at the nursery are outstanding and I have recommended the nursery to lots of people. Thank you.

This is my second time sending one of my children to the nursery and it's a very special place to be. Both of my children have adored their time here. Communication is brilliant and standards are exemplary.

I want to thank the Orange Tree for everything that they have done for my son in the past 2 years. He has developed into such a clever and lovely little boy and his nursery deserves a lot of credit for that. Nothing is too much trouble and the nursery nurses do everything they can to support his development and wellbeing. He loves going to nursery and seeing everybody and the staff know him so well. There are so many amazing staff and he doesn’t stop talking about them. We feel so grateful to have nursery staff who love our son like we do. Thank you, especially to the caterpillar room.

My first child attended this nursery until she went to school so when I was looking for a nursery for my second child, I knew that we had to go back to the Orange Tree. The staff are amazing and so welcoming and kind. My daughter loves nursery (even at age 1) you can just tell. She is full of smiles and is happy on both drop-off and pick-up. We get full feedback from the day and the activities and things she is learning are brilliant. Staff assisted us with our weaning journey and are always positive with everything they do. There have been small changes with staff members but this has always been communicated well with parents and I have full confidence in how the nursery is run. I would highly recommend it.

My little boy has been at The Orange Tree Day Nursery @ Stoke since he was a few months old. There have been a lot of changes in that time but he has been so well cared for during his time there. He has been taught excellent manners and has been helped and encouraged to grow and develop in such creative ways. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Orange Tree Day Nursery, I am so grateful for all that they have done for us.

Fantastic nursery. The setting is lovely and always being developed and improved. The children are really well cared for by lovely, responsive and caring staff. There are always different activities for the children and my little one has developed immensely since she started nursery. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere where their children have fun, are cared for and develop!

We love the nursery. Our daughter has been going since 2019 all through the pandemic. The staff are so supportive and loving. They care so much about the development and happiness of every child. All of the children there are happy and make great connections with the other children. It has been a constant in our lives through the pandemic and never let us down. Our daughter has flourished there and surprises us daily with her new skills.

Wonderful. I cannot think of any better place for my daughter as she grows and learns. The staff are excellent and as attentive as you would wish. The activities all seem geared towards fun and learning in equal measure and the enthusiasm they show and impart is ideal.

The staff here are amazing! My daughter was very anxious initially on starting, but thanks to the warm and friendly staff and lovely activities, she settled in, incredibly well. She now loves going in and her development has come on in leaps and bounds! Expensive, yes, but worth every penny to know how well my little one is being looked after.

My daughter always has a fantastic time at The Orange Tree Day Nursery. She has progressed so much in a short space of time. I commend the ladies for doing a fantastic job for my daughter. I would highly recommend this nursery. It is educational, and clean and they provide amazing food for my child and everyone is super friendly.

Absolutely amazing nursery I cannot recommend it enough! Every single staff member are so so friendly and I don’t have any doubt in trusting them with my little boy. Handover is very detailed and makes me comfortable and confident that he's had an amazing day. His daily activities are different every single day and he loves to get involved in all of them. The staff's hard work shines through the nursery as they beam when they welcome him in the morning. If your after a nursery you will not be disappointed!
