The Willows Nursery Winnersh, a Toad Hall Day Nursery, is a purpose-built nursery on the IQ Winnersh business park and close to Winnersh train station. It is registered to provide care for children from three months to school age.

As part of the Toad Hall Nursery Group, Winnersh is well supported by a reputable group that has been operating for over 15 years. They pride themselves on offering excellent care and education, with thorough standard health and safety policies to make sure children are kept safe.

Staff aim for all children to leave the nursery and progress to school as happy, confident and capable children.

My son has additional needs and the nursery has been amazing in supporting him. All the staff are so lovely. Massive shoutout to the manager who goes above and beyond for the children and pushes to get whatever the child may need. Thanks to the help of the nursery my son has everything in place ready
for him to transition into school in September which I'm so grateful for.

Ever since my daughter has been in the nursery she has made a bond and she is happy and always looking forward to coming in. Her personality and learning have developed month in and month out. She has more confidence and is comfortable. The nursery is very lovely and secure. Safe and sound.

From the first viewing, I knew this would be a great nursery for our son. All the staff in owls are fantastic, and in the three months he has been at the nursery, his speech has come a long way. He is always so happy and excited to come in, and we could not have chosen a better nursery for him.

From our initial visit to the nursery where we were shown around the facility, through to today (our daughter has now been present for four months) we have nothing but positive comments and praise to bestow on all staff members at Toad Hall. Our daughter's keyworker, in particular, has built and developed
a wonderful relationship with our daughter and this is clearly apparent. Her face lights up whenever her keyworker is there to greet her. Special thanks, also to another member of staff, again always a kind and smiley face. The facilities are always spotless and we look forward to watching our daughter develop under your care and guidance.

I have been sending my daughter to Toad Hall for the last eight months. The staff are very friendly, taking care of the kids in a professional way. Always communicating about anything related to your kid during the day at nursery. They will also teach the kids to communicate with each other.

Baby room: My son was 9 months old and he had an amazing carer and got settled in a month. He also had a care plan and food journal and the nursery always responded to all queries, concerns and any issues.
My son then moved along to the toddler room. There are many lovely carers and he thoroughly enjoys
his time here. He is very attached to the carers. He has met a lot of developmental milestones. He can even talk and understand and respond to two languages. He is growing fast and well. Hope to get good progress with potty training and phonics from the next room when he turns 3 years old in a few months.

A wonderful nursery with exceptionally kind and caring staff. Our son was born during the height of the pandemic and, as a result, has been a very quiet and nervous little boy around other adults and children. I never thought he would settle into nursery, but he did, and he loves it. He mentions the
staff and his friends all weekend and can't wait to go back in! We will all be very sad when it's time for him to leave.
I am so very grateful for the support and care from the staff in the Hedgehog room. We've seen our son develop so much, and the staff have played a huge part in this. They've also been extremely helpful when we've needed support with brushing his teeth and getting new medicine into him too.
I can't express just how easy they've made my return to work, as I know he's happy and well looked after.
The best decision I've made for our son!

From the minute our daughter started here, she has been happy, safe and thoroughly looked after and as parents, we couldn't ask for anything more. Every member of staff makes us feel welcome and makes a fuss of our child. She adores the staff and says the names of three of them in the car on the way
home. Since joining, her speech has come on in leaps and bounds. She has learned her colours and is counting to ten. Being a lockdown baby, we were worried about her social skills but we didn't have to worry at all. We can't thank you enough.

My daughter goes to Toad Hall in Winnersh, she’s in the baby room. I couldn’t be happier with the staff and the manager is very accommodating with some of my requests, as my baby is premature, she needs a little more attention and special milk.

My son goes to this nursery and I am extremely happy with the way my son is cared for, he absolutely loves all of his friends and staff. I’ve seen a significant change in him since attending this nursery, his social skills and communication skills have improved and he is able to draw pictures now. I
feel very supported by the nursery with my son and I am impressed with the menu of healthy food available to my child. I would 100% recommend this nursery, especially if you are working in the local area.

Hello, I’m Anna, the Nursery Manager at Toad Hall Winnersh. I have over 15 years of experience in childcare.


I lead the fantastic team here at Winnersh and I’m proud of the exciting and safe environment we have created for the children. I’m passionate about managing and supporting the staff to provide the best development and childcare for our children.


Our nursery has amazing indoor and outdoor areas with excellent activities for children to engage in throughout.
