A purpose-built nursery offering a stimulating learning environment for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The team of friendly, highly qualified staff aims to support parents in the care and education of their children while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), enabling children to build positive relationships and progress as individuals in a supportive environment.

Children are cared for in developmental and age-appropriate rooms for babies, infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. Staff wait for children to reach certain developmental milestones before moving them through the rooms, rather than doing so according to age.

Every single member of staff here are fantastic. My little boy absolutely loves going to nursery and he has come on so much. He runs in when he gets there on a morning.
The app is brilliant, especially for parents to keep you updated and so you can see how your child is getting on throughout the day.
During the times at the minute with the Covid-19, every staff member has remained professional, kind, caring and supportive given the stressful situation everyone is in. The support/help I have received from the manager has been fantastic. She has really helped in what are stressful times.
The girls who look after my little boy are brilliant. Always polite, friendly, willing to go that extra mile and always there to help.
Can’t fault this nursery, it’s brilliant! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to parents and our children.

Both my son and daughter attended Sunbeams Halton. I cannot fault anything about our time we have spent there, my daughter will leave in August ready to start school and I will miss it so much. Sunbeams has been such a big part of mine and my family's life for 6 years and I dread the thought of my youngest
leaving. I cannot thank the manager and the rest of the girls enough. The BEST nursery ever.

My daughter started here in November, moving from a different nursery. They have been great with her. She never used to like going to nursery, but now she’s loves going, they are great with her.

Our daughter loves the teachers very much and the teachers are very professional and approachable for parents.
Sunbeams Halton is a very warm, loving and caring environment to which the children respond well to.
Our experience of Sunbeams Halton has been fantastic and we always recommend to others.

We LOVE Sunbeams at Halton! Our little boy has been in the baby room since he was 9 months old and it's such a friendly, welcoming place.


His development has been fantastic in the last few months, and he loves the outdoor play, the messy activities and the fantastic staff who care for him so well.


We

get daily updates on his progress as well as photos and artwork. It means the world to us to be able to go to work knowing that our boy is happy with his Sunbeams family.

My son has been with Sunbeams Halton since he was 7 months old and although it was a very difficult decision leaving him quite young, his care was outstanding. His 1st key worker was amazing with him and I shed a few tears when he moved up as I felt so secure leaving my baby boy with someone who treasured
him as much as I did. His development has come on leaps and bounds and he is loved by so many of his friends in his current room as well as the staff. The environment is clean and well thought out as are the activities. The staff are really friendly in every room I have encountered and very professional. There is a super atmosphere from the moment you walk in and they know every child by name. Little touches make a huge difference. Well done all at Sunbeams Halton.

My son joined Sunbeams at 10 months old and has loved it since the beginning. Now in infants I often struggle to get him to leave as he has such a bond with everyone. The staff are fantastic and always happy and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Sunbeams to anyone.

Amazing nursery. My son moved here in January and has progressed so much compared to his previous nursery. Staff are very good and communicate very well with what your child needs to focus on to improve. I will definitely be sending my daughter when I'm back at work. :-)

My son has attended Halton for 2 years and now my daughter, I trust the staff 100% with my children, they are all very warm and welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure both my children and I are happy.
I can not fault any aspect of the nursery, the setting is always clean and well prepared for the
day, the children have a great range of activities and events each week and they get a nutritional meal ever day.
My only wish is that my children didn’t have to leave for school!

My son absolutely loves coming to nursery he’s becoming since he was 7 months old. All the staff know his name and always make an effort to interact with him. He has many friends at nursery and always enjoys his time in nursery. He gets a wide variety of food, he eaten some stuff that he wouldn’t get
to eat at home.

Sunbeams staff have looked after our child well. They are very friendly staff who have bonded. The nativity was impressive and there are times when fun things happen like Gruffalo themed food and cooking in the classroom. The food is excellent. The chef has great relationships with the children and
provides nutritious meals.
Some things I feel could be improved:
- staff turnover and explanations to children. There have been a number of people leaving, some of whom have established close relationships with my child and it was not explained to him or us.
- outdoor space - this is being looked at so hopefully will improve but it’s a small and pretty uninspiring environment. Really welcome efforts to create natural features and use nature as an approach to learning.
- the size of the room is small for the amount of children which makes a noisy and cramped space.
- on pick up there are times when staff are unable to tell us what he has done that day.

Our child has been attending this nursery since he was 10 months old and he absolutely loves it. He settled in straight away and has formed lovely relationships with all the staff in his room. They take such good care of him and he is blossoming at Sunbeams Halton.

Both my boys go to Sunbeams Halton and both are very settled and love their time at Nursery after the usual settling in issues. They each love their key workers and all the staff which makes me feel more comfortable leaving them for such long days without mummy or daddy. Their progress is lovely to
see and they learn so many new things daily. All the extra events and charity days are nice to be involved in too. I would highly recommend Halton and its staff to anyone.

I’m super happy with Sunbeams, they’ve been great with both my children and I feel treat them as family. My little boy is so excited to go and is coming on leaps and bounds. Such caring staff and easy to communicate with. They also cater to complex allergy needs and have supported me and my children

My daughter started at Sunbeams when she was 9 months old and has gone from baby room to pre-school. She absolutely loves it and all the staff. They are all so lovely and extremely friendly. My daughter has grown so much during her time there and is developing so much everyday and it is down to the

I love this nursery. My son has been going here for 2 years now and he loves it, not to say he's come on really well and is 6 months ahead of his age with makes me really proud. I have recommended my friends and family here now their children go there. I just wish I would of known of this nursery 7
years ago as my old council nursery which I paid a lot every month for them to fail my daughter, so I took them both out when my son was 8 months old. When he was 2 I found out about this nursery and how good it is so I got in touch they welcomed me and my son and make him feel so happy there. The workers are brilliant as at first it took a while to settle but they knew why he wouldn't settle as he wanted one particular worker, so she changed the worker so he would feel more comfortable and now he loves going to nursery and loves everything about this place. I would not say a bad word bout this place will go out there way to make your child develop xx xx

I literally can not rate this nursery highly enough. There are no words to describe the ladies and gentleman that work at this nursery. My daughter has now been going for over 2 years and she adores every one of you. There is just fun and laughter every time you walk in the room. She has made some amazing
friends who she will treasure forever this includes the staff.
Everyone from the cleaner to the management are just so friendly and I could not ask for a better group of people to take care of the most important person in my world... thank you from the bottom of my heart

Since my daughter came to this nursery she has grown so much and at 2 she knew all her abc and could count to twenty, not perfect but she still gave it ago. She loves coming to nursery everyday and I have no concerns.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

I have worked at Halton since 2013 and progressed in my career from Senior Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager.
I am married with 2 boys age 4 and 9 who both attended Halton.
My favourite part about the job is developing a strong staff team through meeting the staffs professional training needs and making staff well being a priority.
I take great pride in developing strong, positive relationships with our families and parent partnership is something I feel very strongly about.
My favourite thing about early years is how every day is different and watching each child develop in their own unique, individual way.
