The team of friendly, highly qualified staff aims to support parents in the care and education of their children while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), enabling children to build positive relationships and progress as individuals in a supportive environment.

Children are cared for in developmental and age-appropriate rooms for babies, infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. Staff wait for children to reach certain developmental milestones before moving them through the rooms, rather than doing so according to age.

My daughter loves going to Sunbeams. She adores the staff and always has a great time. Even when she gets upset suddenly wanting to be home, they are amazing at cheering her back up.
They pay great attention and can tell when she is not herself and needs a bit of extra attention.
The nursery itself
is excellent at letting us know when they are doing different things for as simple as changing the displays and wanting pictures from home to their Christmas fair.

I really didn't want my little boy going to nursery so young (7-months), but I am so glad I did as he has developed so much in the 7-months he has been there. He is so happy when he arrives in the morning, and the staff are so friendly and thorough on the parent app. I would recommend to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic nursery. My little one had additional needs, and they go above and beyond in every way. Brilliant setting. The inside space has lots of different areas to explore, and the outside space is full of activities also. Learning made fun!

Sunbeams is a great nursery. My child has progressed amazingly, thanks to the staff at the nursery. The facilities and outdoor play items are great. My child always tells me he loves the food he eats at nursery.

My child seems to be thriving when at nursery. He has come out of his shell so much, especially being a baby born during Covid. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and kind; you always feel welcome when in the building.

My child loves it at Sunbeams Day Nursery. She’s settled in well, and happily talks about her friends and teachers all the time. The staff are all lovely, always welcoming and easy to talk to and get along with. We’ve never had a problem since my child has started there. I feel comfortable while my

My 3-year-old has been coming to Sunbeams in Halton since he was a baby, and I cannot recommend the nursey enough. All the staff are fantastic and so accommodating. My son loves going every morning and is learning new skills every day. The transition of each class move upwards has always been seamless,
and the support I have been given with each milestone (learning to crawl, walk, talk, potty train etc) has been amazing. Thank you to everyone!

I am absolutely delighted with the progress my child has made and is making by attending this nursery. She enjoys going and has so much fun there. I love the variety of activities that is offered and they really do put the needs of that individual child first. At first I was apprehensive to send my
child but I know she is in great hands and I would highly recommend anyone to send their child there. There is never any judgment about where your child may be struggling in certain areas and the staff are always supportive, professional and friendly. I have nothing but high praise for everyone who works there.

We have seen our children flourish at Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton). Each of our children made friends with other children and the lovely staff. Their social and speech skills have developed to be very strong and we feel Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) played a large part of this. A wonderful nursery.

My daughter attended Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) after it was recommended to me by a friend, she loved it from starting at two to leaving for primary at four. She cried for a while when being dropped off but staff reassured me every day. My other daughter started Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) in January
and again she sometimes cries but staff are fantastic with her and I know I can leave her at nursery and she is absolutely fine. Both children enjoy and enjoyed the different varieties of food that Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) serve a love and loved snack time. All the staff are so friendly and make you feel at ease leaving your child in the care of them. The nursery manager is fabulous and can always answer any questions you have. I’ve recommended Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) to a lot of my friends who all agree it’s the best nursery around. I wouldn’t send my children anywhere else now.

My son has been attending since he was seven months old. I was worried it might be too young as he needed a lot of supervision whilst so unstable but he was well looked after. He is now much more independent and stable on his feet but still needs plenty of supervision which he always has. All the staff
seem to know him well which is nice to know that everyone takes an interest, not just his key-worker. We're told daily about how he's been and also get occasional written reviews going into detail. He loves going to nursery, has lots of friends and enjoys all the different activities. They have a nice outdoor space which has been utilised a lot in the nice weather and he's loved that. The menu is really varied and has some healthy hearty meals which is great so I don't feel guilty if I don't have time to cook something interesting and adventurous, as he has a good diet there. I think they've handled the pandemic really well as there's been very little disruption. I really couldn't be happier.

Lovely nursery. My kids are really happy there and the other kids look to be as well. The staff are friendly, consistent and they seem to know all the children really well. They keep us updated on what the kids have been up to both verbally and with photos and reviews. There are a lot of children packed
into a small space but they utilise the playground well and it doesn't seem to bother the little ones, they get plenty of attention so it doesn't worry me.
Kids are well fed and given plenty of healthy snacks, which is particularly important to my absolute tank of a son who must have upped the food budget considerably.

Both my children have attended Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) since twelve months old. My youngest is currently in preschool and getting ready to transition to primary school. Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) has brought so much out in my children in terms of their social and educational development. My

My little girl had been attending Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) since she was eleven months old and is due to leave in the summer to start school. This is going to be a sad day for all of us she has loved every single minute and had the best time learning and playing.

Our daughter has been going to Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) since her first birthday and it has been a wonderful experience. She really enjoys going and loves all the staff, who have been incredible at helping her confidence grow and make some lovely friends. Her ability in so many aspects of her life
has been down to the support and patience of the key workers and staff and she is now well prepared to start school in September. The management and communication, particularly throughout the pandemic has been fantastic and we have always felt in safe hands. My son started at Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) this year at around eleven months old. I was very nervous, like most parents but with the added complexity of him having spent his entire life with little interaction with other children and adults due to Covid-19. He settled in at Sunbeams Day Nursery
(Halton) instantly, we’re so pleased we chose there. The girls who look after him are lovely and he’s built a great relationship with his key worker. They take the time to tell you how he’s been that day and what he’s done when I pick him up which is great. He comes home so happy and his development in the short amount of time he’s been there is incredible. The app is ideal for seeing how they’re getting on when they’re there, especially for those with younger ones who want to see how naps are going! I would recommend Sunbeams Day Nursery (Halton) to others without hesitation.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

I have worked at Halton since 2013 and progressed in my career from Senior Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager.
I am married with 2 boys age 4 and 9 who both attended Halton.
My favourite part about the job is developing a strong staff team through meeting the staffs professional training needs and making staff well being a priority.
I take great pride in developing strong, positive relationships with our families and parent partnership is something I feel very strongly about.
My favourite thing about early years is how every day is different and watching each child develop in their own unique, individual way.
