Kids Planet Halton

Our little boy loves going to nursery! After being born during lockdown, I think it affected his confidence around 'strangers' but the staff are so brilliant with him, offering cuddles and distraction to get him to join in with activities! I love the app, finding out what he's been up to during the day and eating, and seeing pictures of activities! My elder daughter attended a different nursery and I much prefer the care and attention at Kids Planet! The staff always have the children outside which they love and my son comes home with lots of happy stories from his day!

My daughter has attended since she was 11 months old. She is now nearly 4 years old and I have been so happy with the care and learning/development provided throughout her time here. My daughter settled easily from day one, which I was so worried about at the time, as up until starting nursery she had spent nearly all her life with just me and her dad (she was born at the beginning of lockdown). The team working at Kids Planet are brilliant, every child is known, understood and made to feel special. The manager and the deputy manager make the nursery ooze warmth and they ensure there is the right mix of fun and learning in place. There are always events being celebrated and every theme/topic is so considered and delivered brilliantly. It’s just a lovely environment for your child to spend their early years. I feel less ‘mum-guilt’ for being at work, as I know my daughter is having lots of fun and learning lots at the same time. Well done to the manager and the team, you are fabulous!

We definitely made the right choice sending our little boy to this nursery, he is shy and reserved but has come on so much since going to nursery. The staff really helped him settle in and have helped him develop in a number of ways, he can now feed himself very well with cutlery, drink from an open cup, say lots of new words and is beginning to sing songs. He comes out of nursery happy, with new skills and seems to enjoy his time there. He also enjoys the food, often having second portions! The app is good for updates and basic details about his day. Whilst childcare can be expensive, overall it has been worth every penny to see how our little boy has developed, even socially, over a short period of time. Would recommend this nursery to friends and family!

I can not recommend Kids Planet enough! The ladies who work here are truly amazing and care so much for our children. My little boy started during the pandemic, this was a hard time for a child to start nursery but they made it so easy with their caring nature towards the children (and parents!). He loved every minute, and still talks about nursery now he has started school. My little girl started in June 2023 and she struggled with settling in, the ladies working with her were just amazing. They made me feel so at ease leaving her and kept me up to date with how she was. She has eventually settled and now walks in with open arms to them - this has been a long journey for us, and the support they have given just shows how much they care. The staff know all of the children, no matter which room they are in, so there is such a friendly feel as you walk in on a morning. Thank you for everything you all do.

Our daughter started at this nursery back in September 2022 at 18 months old and is still there, now in the Toddler room at 2 years old. All the staff have been lovely, supportive and caring from day one. Our daughter's development has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery. She has a great time, always coming home in a happy mood. Eating and sleeping well there too. Cannot recommend this nursery enough.

The staff really care and gets to know your children and loves sharing funny stories about their activities throughout the day. I would recommend Kids Planet Halton to anyone looking for a nursery.

My son has been coming here for a year and a half and he loves it, he’s built great relationships with the key workers, I know he is cared for very well. My daughter also came here for four years (she’s 8 now) and some of the same staff who cared for her are still there which I like!

Our daughter currently goes to Kids Planet, having joined in May. She has come on leaps and bounds since attending nursery. The staff all make a conscious effort to get to know her and are always friendly and welcoming. I am so happy with nursery, it has definitely been the right choice for us.

My little girl has been going to this nursery for three years and she loves it! They all made so much effort to ensure she was settled right from the very start. She has been in all the rooms they offer as she has moved up each year and they have all made her experience brilliant. They hold parents evenings and send photos and updates on the app they use. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they will always try and accommodate when they can. My little girl has learnt so much with Kids Planet and they have really improved her confidence to get her ready for starting Primary school. She will be sad when she leaves in September. I would always recommend this setting for babies right through to pre-schoolers. Keep up the amazing work ladies and the chef!

All the staff are very friendly and clearly enjoy their jobs. We have been particularly impressed with the effort by staff to get to know our identical twins as individuals. We are kept updated with what they have been doing and are always informed in a timely manner of any incidents or issues our children have had. Couldn’t be happier sending them to Kids Planet Halton, they have developed so much in the time they’ve been there.

My son has been coming to this nursery for two years and it has done him the world of good. I was very apprehensive about sending him as he was so young, but from baby room up to now he genuinely has loved going! All the staff are great and he has grown a bond with lots of staff members, I know I don’t have to worry when leaving him! Highly recommend!

My daughter has attended Kids Planet since she was 2 (now 4) we initially had some separation tears but the team were brilliant with her and made her feel welcome and comfortable. They have always gone above and beyond to support her learning and progression, the setting is lovely and has recently had some upgrades to facilities, equipment etc. The staff are wonderful, my daughter loves going and she will be very sad to leave when she starts school. Highly recommend.

My son loves his time at this nursery. He gets on well with the staff, and they clearly know my son well. One particular person is a favourite of my son, and he talks to us about her when he comes home. This is the kind of personalised, friendly experience I hope for my son. The food is great, and good variety - seems value for money for this. The new app where we can see updates on our son's day.

Things to be improved: Since taking over many resources have been updated such as new bikes being bought. I do however think the outside space needs some renewing and updating, although I believe this is part of the long-term plan for Kids Planet Halton. I would like to find out more about what the nursery is doing for my son's development. Infrequent reviews on paper so far, but I want to know if they're focusing on specific skills or development stages during a week. Sometimes little info from nursery workers when we pick up, such as he's had a good day.

My son started nursery (Sunbeams at the time - now Planet Halton) when he was 10 months old and he is now 4. The staff are amazing, from the manager to the staff in the rooms and also the chef. My son has come on so much and he absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are really informative with what he has done throughout the day with updates on the app with his meals and photographs. My daughter also went to this nursery (now 9) and this is the reason why I sent my son. I feel safe knowing that he is in the care of this brilliant team and I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for one.

My daughter has been attending Sunbeams Day Nursery Halton from 11-months-old. Her time at this nursery has been outstanding, very kind, caring staff, with a high level of care, and my daughter has loved every minute going and made the most amazing friendships with peers and staff members. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Sunbeams Halton from 7-month-old (now 4), and I couldn’t be happier. She always develops a close bond with the carers, and the carers and management make every effort to build relationships with parents. We’re certainly going to miss Sunbeams when it’s time to move into school.

My daughter started in September, and the staff have been great. Really informative and welcoming towards her. We love the idea that she can have photos of us around as a comfort to get her settled in too! Her key worker is amazing, and our daughter has settled in really nicely with her. The staff are so caring, and the facilities themselves are clean and safe.

When my kids were enrolled in Sunbeams Day Nursery, we had only relocated from overseas and being a new environment, I was concerned about how well they'd fit in. All I can say is I am really glad we chose this nursery. My kids are always excited to go to nursery, and they both have a special bond with their keyworkers and all the staff. They've made lots of friends, and I am always very at ease that they'd be taken care of each day I drop them off. The level of improvement in terms of social interaction, academics and politeness that I have seen in my kids since they started attending Sunbeams Day Nursery has been exceptional. The manager and the teachers are wonderful, and I say thank you for all the love shown to not just my children but to all the children at the nursery.

I think the outside area is lovely. I unfortunately never got to see the inside of the nursery, but this was due to the pandemic. I’m sending my daughter to Sunbeams Halton when she turns three, and I’m sure she will love it as much as her brother did.

My son went to Sunbeams a few years ago and loved it! The staff are so lovely, even when we moved after he left the nursery. I now still commute and take my daughter; she loves it! I can't recommend Sunbeams enough. They go over and above for all children in every single stage.
