A purpose-built nursery offering a stimulating learning environment for babies and children up to the age of five years.

The team of friendly, highly qualified staff aims to support parents in the care and education of their children while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), enabling children to build positive relationships and progress as individuals in a supportive environment.

Children are cared for in developmental and age-appropriate rooms for babies, infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers. Staff wait for children to reach certain developmental milestones before moving them through the rooms, rather than doing so according to age.

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old and am sad to say she will be leaving to go to Primary School in September.


The staff are lovely, the facilities are fantastic and wow, a private chef with a nutritious menu that changes on a monthly cycle.


Most importantly though,

I am always bowled over by the things that she comes home and tells me about, the things that she has learnt. It's great to know your child is being well looked after but its amazing to know that she is thriving in a fantastic learning environment too.


As a little girl who knows her own mind (very well), if she didn't enjoy it, she would not hesitate to make sure I knew and why, Sunbeams most certainly gets the thumbs up from her too!

My little boy has attended sunbeams for the last 15 months he is now is the preschool room. He absolutely loves going, he runs in, in the morning without any fuss all the staff are so friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend it. My other 2 older children also attended Sunbeams from being 6
months old till starting school and both had excellent experiences there. Can’t fault them in anyway, great team.

Both my boys started at Sunbeams Halton when they were 8/9 months old. The staff here are amazing. They invest so much time and effort in the children. The relationships they form with the children are lovely to see. My boys absolutely love going to nursery, my eldest is due to start school in September,
it will be an emotional day when he leaves.
Keep doing what you’re doing, you are great!

My child really enjoys nursery, although he does have some separation issues with me on a morning, the staff at Sunbeams are always extremely patient with him.
His social and communicational development have really come on.

My daughter goes to Halton sunbeams and I have to say that it is an absolutely amazing nursery. She has come on leaps and bounds since being there. She started in the baby room and is now in preschool. All the staff know all the children's names and you really feel the personal touch when there. Such
a friendly and warm environment and it definitely gets her seal of approval as she loves going there! Would recommend without hesitation to any of my family and friends!

My one year old son started nursery full time in September and he absolutely loves it. He is developing so well and learning so many things which is down to the ladies who work here. All the staff are polite and very welcoming and even when they don't work with my son they all know his name. It's a
brilliant environment for all children and they make it easier for me to leave him knowing that he is enjoying him days there and is in safe hands. I couldn't have picked a better nursery for him. Thank you.

The girls put you at ease straight away. They are professional and you can tell they love children. Our little boy runs into the nursery and always seems so happy there. We have had no issues and it's made the transition to being full time working parents easier.

My daughter was cared for by the staff at Sunbeams in Halton from the age of 10 months until she started school this year. She loved everyday and always came home with lots of stories or pictures from her day. It is only since she started in school that I have really been able to appreciate how much
she was learning whilst also having fun. Despite being one of the youngest in her class, the foundation that Sunbeams gave her is helping her thrive! We all miss the friendly pick ups and drop offs and I am very grateful for the friendly flexibility they offered to me whilst also juggling an older child and work commitments.

We have been so thrilled with the care that our daughter has received at Sunbeams. The fact that she is always eager to go is a testament in itself. Any issues we have had have been dealt with promptly and to a very high standard, they take the individual needs of the child and family very seriously.

All staff are very polite, friendly and helpful every morning and afternoon when I drop off and pick my little boy up. My little boy has come along so much more whilst going to this nursery. Thank you Sunbeams.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2013

I have worked at Halton since 2013 and progressed in my career from Senior Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager.
I am married with 2 boys age 4 and 9 who both attended Halton.
My favourite part about the job is developing a strong staff team through meeting the staffs professional training needs and making staff well being a priority.
I take great pride in developing strong, positive relationships with our families and parent partnership is something I feel very strongly about.
My favourite thing about early years is how every day is different and watching each child develop in their own unique, individual way.
