I never regretted about our choice, my kids and I loved this nursery very much. Kids never cried or refused to go there and my heart was calm when I was leaving them. Friendly staff and peaceful environment this is how I would describe this nursery.

Our daughter has been attending Happy Days Nursery since she was 8 months old and she is very happy here. The Staff are amazing, so friendly and care for the children very much. They confirm exactly how her day has been and confirm how well she has done with her food, which is helpful for a child who
doesn't each much. They also provide great Dairy-free options which I needed for my daughter's intolerance, and they manage this perfectly. We get reports on her progress along with ideas on what can be done at home to help her progress. My Daughter is always so excited to go nursery and is always happy when she comes out. I couldn't recommend the nursery enough, and so happy we chose Happy Days almost three years ago, gives me peace of mind while I'm at work knowing my daughter is happy.

My son has been at this nursery for 2 years and he has absolutely thrived there. Such a brilliant ethos and the team are fantastic! My son has attended this nursery since he was ten months old and I have no reservations in recommending it to anyone. He has severe allergies which they are brilliant with and offer a range of "safe" meals. Everyone is kind, friendly and efficient and I feel safe leaving him in their care knowing he'll
be well looked after. The nursery is always cleaned to a high standard. They have lots of different activities and outdoor play to keep him entertained and which keeps him learning. He looks forward to going and comes home tired and happy from his busy day.
The current manager is amazing and we are very sad she is leaving. She is very kind and professional and knows all about the children and what is going on with them and the nursery. She has a real presence at the nursery and if you express any concerns or have any questions you know she will sort them asap. She has been brilliant in implementing change especially with the current Covid situation and is a true leader.

We love Happy Days Exeter! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly that our daughter settled so quickly when she first started, which was a big relief. She really enjoys every single day.
Their investment in the children is amazing, they’re like a big extended family. They do such a great job to help
nurture development, confidence and personality. You get great feedback at the end of each day too to let you know what they’ve been up to and what they’re working on.
The facilities are excellent with lots of toys, books and crafts available, and we really like that they encourage play outside as much as possible.
The food is great too. As a family, we eat a plant-based diet and were worried that this could be an issue, but the team at Happy Days are so accommodating to different diets that it has really been no problem at all for them.
We’re so happy that we chose Happy Days, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

I have 2 kids who attend the nursery and I cannot fault it. I recommend it to all my friends with babies who are looking to send them to nursery! My eldest is due to leave soon to start school and I am genuinely sad that he will no longer be attending!

Our daughter has attended Happy Days Exeter for the last 2 years and will be finishing soon to start Reception. We have been absolutely delighted with every aspect of the nursery. It is warm, friendly, welcoming and professional. The staff are amazing and our daughter has always looked forward to going
to every single session. Our daughter has some special needs and the Nursery Manager and team were so helpful and professional with assisting us with paperwork for an EHC plan and structuring a bespoke learning and development plan. I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery - they are brilliant!

We have been very impressed with Happy Days, the staff are so friendly and welcoming and our son is very happy there. It is always clean and has a lovely calm atmosphere. We love the open door policy and the fact that the outside area is always accessible as our son loves to be outdoors.

This nursery is fabulous. It is clean, does not smell of nappies like a lot of nurseries do and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, caring and very well trained. Both my children are extremely happy there and I will not send them anywhere else.

Happy Days have been absolutely amazing with my daughter. She genuinely enjoys going. She has come on leaps and bounds since she's been there. The staff are fabulous, and I couldn't wish for anyone better to look after my daughter whilst I'm at work.

My son has had a very positive experience at Happy Days. The teachers are very caring and professional and encourage learning and development. My son is more confident and balanced and looks forward to going to the nursery every day.

My daughter has settled really well at Happy Days. She really enjoys nursery and sings songs about the staff on the way there. We get a handover at the ned of the day (verbal and written) and this is really helpful. I am very happy with the care provided by the team.

Happy Days is an amazing nursery. The staff are all wonderful and very friendly. I love the layout of the rooms and the range of activities they do with the children. I know they are taking the best care of my little one.


The food is also worth noting that it looks really good and my little one

When our child first started nursery, every single member of staff made sure that she had an extremely positive experience. This meant that she settled really quickly. Now, nearly 6 months on, the staff at Happy Days Exeter have provided such a caring, supportive environment, that every time she comes
home she seems to have learnt something new! The meals they provide are 5*, our child always eats everything as she finds it so tasty! When you arrive in the morning the staff are so welcoming that it immediately puts you at ease about leaving your child. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone as I truly credit the work they do with helping our little girl develop into a confident, chatty and well-behaved toddler!

My daughters experience has been fantastic over the past few years here. The activities on offer are varied and engaging for the children. The staff are friendly, positive and knowledgeable. The nursery is very clean and the use of space with area sectioned off but still offering an open atmosphere
is lovely. The children seem to be able to come and go outside to the garden area which is safe and supervised. The menu and food variation is incredible and very healthy. My little girl always comes home very happy and I feel her start in life at this nursery has been great. Can't fault it!

We are so pleased with our choice of nursery. Our little boy is so happy there, he is always keen to go and runs up to the door. The environment is stimulating without being overwhelming, it is spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly, engaging and informed. The children genuinely seem to be at the
centre of the nursery's ethos. Physical and mental needs are met, children have access to outdoor play areas. The food is prepared and cooked on-site and has really helped develop our boy's appetite and table manners. We couldn't be happier and would strongly recommend the team at Happy Days Exeter.

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2025

My name is Keira, and I have over 15 years of childcare experience. I began my childcare career volunteering at a nursery and immediately fell in love with the job. Eager to learn everything I could, I then began my own learning journey whilst working in nurseries, carrying out my level 2, 3 and 4 NVQ qualifications across 5 different nurseries in Exeter of various different sizes and set ups.


I joined Happy Days Exeter in 2022 in a varied role as the nursery administrator, supervisor, health and safety officer and SENCO. I loved working for Happy Days in such a varied role, taking on lots of different responsibilities and new challenges, which naturally led me into undertaking my level 5 in operations management with the company and excitingly taking on the role of manager, which is my favourite role I have had so far! I am passionate about supporting and empowering our families, children and staff team. It is so rewarding and inspiring to watch our children grow and learn, and to be a part of nurturing their learning journey.
