We have absolutely loved Happy Days Exeter. We had a terrible experience with our previous setting but Happy Days have been phenomenal in reinstating our trust with other unfamiliar people caring for our daughter. All the staff are so personable and caring and we fully trust that our daughter is in safe hands, but also that she has the best fun when she's at nursery. Thank you to all of the team!

Our twins were in happy days Exeter from October 2021-August 2025. The care and support from the baby room through to the pre school room has been fantastic. The 7:30 early opening time (must be pre-arranged) meant I could get to work for 8am, meals are varied & nutritious, introducing new foods that we could then work into their diet at home. The last year as the boys prepared for school has particularly impressed me, they have developed a natural curiosity to learn about everything, to confidently ask questions and be kind and considerate to their friends. The Exeter team have supported us through the minor & major transitions from battles over wearing hats to preparing for school. The learning based play over the last year has been structured to grow them ready for school and worked fantastically. We were very sad for the boys to leave happy days but excited & ready for school.

Our child has been over two years in this nursery. She created a very good relationship with the staff, everyone was very professional and knowledgeable. Also the staff was very nice and friendly. I would definetely recommend this nursery to anyone.

Across two kids we had been going to Happy Days for 6 years, which ends with our second starting school. Of course there have been some low periods or times when we were frustrated, it was 6 years, but across that time a constant was excellent staff with a real dedication to their kids. Even staff in other rooms recognise and engage with all the kids. A great mix of staff too. Our second was a tad slow to start talking, his key worker saw this, and worked with the senior team to develop a plan which was discussed with us to help the development, that child now never shuts up, so maybe I should dock a mark ;) If we were looking for a nursery again it would be here, without doubt.

Our son has been with Happy Days since he was around 9 months old, its been a journey and the staff here has been with us every step of the way. I have really been able to build up a relationship with the staff, and I feel so happy and comfortable leaving my son here. What really makes me happy here is the uniqueness of each staff member and the staff is allowed to be themselves, and you can see this in the children as well. There is a real passion for child care within this nursery and again you can see that shine through in the children. Everyone is approachable and friendly, and the level of trust that I have with the staff and management is high. I will also say that the staff does have your best interest in mind when it comes to affordability and other information. My son has developed greatly and continues to do so, they support him every step of the way.

Our daughter has loved coming to Happy Days for over two years. She has good relationships with staff and is always happy to come in in the mornings and is happily playing when I pick her up. My son has just started at the nursery at 10 months. He was given lots of settles to ensure that when he started he was comfortable with his environment . He has recently started and after the initial first day shock, he quickly settled and has been soo happy and playful. The staff have always let me know the information I needed and were always happy to speak to me when I phoned to check on him. I am also really enjoying the new parent app where I can see all about there day! I especially love seeing photos of him enjoying himself. A lovely nursery and pre school filled with trustworthy, friendly and approachable adults. Thanks so much!

Very happy with the services at Happy Days Nursery, and how friendly and accommodating the staff are and how they are towards my son. He really enjoys all the activities that is put on for him throughout the day and is learning a lot more and more each time he attends nursery.

We have used Happy Days Nursery for years with our eldest son, then when our second son was born, we knew we wanted him to have the same caring and engaging experience so we went back. The setting as a whole is calm and welcoming, the staff are caring and genuine, they know us all by name. We were offered numerous settling sessions to make sure the transition went smoothly and put my mind at rest so I could return to work with confidence. Also we had the chance to have the same key worker as we had with our first son, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience that I trust. I would highly recommend Happy Days to any parents looking at nurseries for their little ones.

Ever since I came to see the nursery I have loved it, it was perfect for my two children. The staff are incredible, affectionate and very kind, always with a smile on their face. As for the place, it is quite spacious, tidy and accessible. They do a lot of activities and we are always informed of everything that happens with our children. The food is fantastic, the smells always reach the entrance. Quickly defining, everything is magnificent. Amazing!

All staff have been approachable, friendly and welcoming. We know that our child is cared for and staff have her best interests at heart. I have been impressed with the communication during the day - it is courteous, prompt and professional. This is our first experience of a UK nursery and would recommend Happy Days, Exeter to anyone of interest. It's been great!

My son started in September and the staff have been amazing from the get go. They always have time to chat and feedback the day and give advice and support when needed. The food menu always sounds delicious and is cooked fresh onsite. The only small downfall is the outdoor space but this is difficult to change due to its location. A huge thank you to all the wonderful, friendly staff!

Happy Days have been so amazing! Starting your child at nursery can seem quite a scary thing but from the start, they have made me feel at ease and made my child feel so welcome. They all knew her name from the moment she started, which only seems like a small thing, but it makes a big difference to her feeling comfortable whilst she's there. She really has loved her time there and being in a nursery environment has helped her social skills and also her speech development. All the staff are so nice and friendly and do such an amazing job, with lots of varied activities and fun!. The food that is served is also cooked fresh by their chef, so you know your child is getting good, healthy food whilst there too. I can't recommend it enough!

Our son has recently started at Happy Days and has settled in so quickly and well. He has become so much more chatty too which has been wonderful for us to see. The staff at Exeter have been amazing and always keep you up to date on how things are. All the enrolment systems were really straightforward and much less onerous than we have previously experienced. All in all, we are so happy to have been able to get a place at Happy Days and would recommend it to everyone.

Happy Days Exeter is an incredible nursery for my child. The decision to return to work and start nursery was an emotional one for me but from the word ‘go’ the team at Exeter have been so supportive for my child and for me. They worked closely with me to ensure that my child had the best start and she is now thriving, making friends and learning so much! I am so impressed with this nursery and love that they help make my child so happy. The multiple settle sessions were brilliant and a real asset to Happy Days. They helped my child get into the routine of nursery and it gave me the chance to feel comfortable and happy to leave them. Whenever we arrived the team were so happy to see us and so excited to see my child. This still happens every time we are at nursery. A brilliant nursery with a brilliant team!

We have had such a wonderful experience at Happy Days. Our daughter started in January and settled in very quickly following their comprehensive settling-in programme in the months prior. Whenever we drop her off she always has a massive smile on her face which is lovely for us. The staff have been great. Our daughter adores her key worker as well as the rest of the team. It seems like there is a big range of activities the children get involved in every day and we feel like she is getting lots of development opportunities. The management team are also excellent. The manager and staff are all on hand if you have any queries and we felt that they worked with us to iron out any minor napping issues. We now have a good schedule in place which works really well for our daughter. Overall could not recommend more highly!

My little boy absolutely loves going into nursery, at the start he was really nervous, he didn’t really talk and he didn’t want to leave me. But on our first day the staff were very welcoming and opening the door with big smiles. Now my little boy runs into the nursery with a big smile on his face and is excited to see his friends and the staff. The staff has helped my child with his speech and now he comes out with so many new words and even comes home singing the songs. Thank you Happy Days Exeter, amazing nursery.

We have been extremely happy with the care and attention our daughter receives at Happy Days. She absolutely loves it there and even asks to go on weekends! The staff are some of the friendliest people, and they all know the children so well. They have lots of activities to keep children's brains stimulated at all ages, children have lots of outdoor time and a great garden to play in, and they even teach sing and sign to the babies and young toddlers which is so great for developing communication. The food is both healthy and delicious and cooked by a chef to a very high standard. I feel very safe leaving my child in their care and would not hesitate to recommend Happy Days Exeter to anyone.

My child has been attending Happy Days for just over a year now. He has a developmental delay, since starting here he has come on leaps and bounds, I am so pleased with how well the staff have been able to achieve this for my son. And as a family, we couldn’t be more thankful for the endless support they give to us!
