Toad Hall Nursery Berkhamsted

Both of my children have attended Toad Hall. They have both had a wonderful experience at the nursery over the last five years which has prepared them well for school. The staff have been excellent, always very caring and friendly, but also professional. They have loved all the activities at the nursery especially Football, lots of playing in the garden, creative activities, music and stories. Most importantly though, the care has been fantastic and my children have been really happy there.

Both of my sons have attended Toad Hall Nursery. I find the nursery friendly and welcoming. It’s always clean, comfortable and airconditioned. It’s a new setup and the rooms designs are well thought out for the age of the child, and each room has their own outdoor play area. The staff are friendly and really looked after our children, nurtured and developed them.

Fantastic nursery with friendly and approachable staff. Great at helping us and our son settle in. Lovely facilities and range of activities including trips out and about.

We are very satisfied with the nursery, they are always doing new activities and they are very flexible. Our son is always happy to be there and his development is great. I would definitely recommend it.

My daughter has attended he nursery since she was 10 months old and the nursery staff are amazing. I am amazed with the amount she is learning everyday. She loves it and is happy and smiling when I pick her up. The parent zone app and website are lovely, giving photo and video updates on what she's been up to which are so welcome during long days at work when I am missing her terribly!!

The cook provides very nutritional meals and snacks each day for the children.

Toad Hall is a fantastic nursery and my daughter has not only enjoyed her time there immensely, she has also thrived.

The main thing for me that set's it apart from another very good nursery that she attended is the staff. As soon as she walk into Toad Hall it is evident that the staff are very happy there and work well together as a team. As a parent, this feels mw with confidence and makes for a positive, happy and caring environment for my daughter to develop in. When the staff are as happy as they appear to be at Toad Hall, that can only be a good thing of the children.

My son attended Toad Hall for the last year before starting school. He came on leaps and bounds in little butterflies room and I do believe this has set him on his way in school life. The staff in the room planned for all his next steps and made the day exciting and full of learning opportunities no two days were the same. My son loved the garden and the food the most because he got to be so involved with growing vegetables in the garden and learning how to portion his own food. I will recommend everyone goes here purely for the friendliest team I've ever met and you know they truly care about each and every child there

My daughter has attended Toad Hall since August 2015. She was only 9 months old at the time and very clingy so we were apprehensive about leaving her. The staff at Toad Hall are extremely friendly and welcoming and she settled after a few sessions. I now leave for work with a positive feeling knowing she will enjoy the day ahead of her. The most important thing for me is that Toad Hall always make me feel like my daughter is special, taking their time to tell me about her day and even giving me her art work. They will follow whatever routine you have in place and it is a huge bonus that nappies, wipes, milk and food are included as it means you don't have to spend the morning packing a bag. We are very happy with Toad Hall and would highly recommend it.

Lovely staff - they are happy to go the extra mile to understand and meet the individual needs of the kids they care for. My 18 month old comes home with all sorts of skills - he has started saying 'ta' when we give him things at home - without any prompting or training from us! And he came over and blew me a kiss the other day... Its great for him to be exposed to such a positive environment and build relationships other kids and adults.

My daughter has been at the nursery for just over a year now and she loves going in and seeing her little friends and gets on great with the staff here. She has recently moved up to the next room and the staff have been good in integrating her over so she has settled in brilliantly. Her speech is coming on very well and she likes to interact with everyone giving her the social skills she needs.

The care my children get from all the staff is like they are one of their own. They look forward to going in and I always get told what they have been doing that day. They have been so accommodating when I have needed the children to do different days and hours, always answering my requests straight away. If they can't help then they explain why. When I am at work I am reassured that they are in the best possible care, happy mum.

Our son has been very happy at Toad Hall. The staff always treat him with care and affection and he settled in very well straight from the start. They do a range of activities and my son comes back happy every day. We have a complicated rota and the nursery have been very accommodating the whole time. Any issues we have had have been resolved quickly and efficiently.

Great nursery. Clean and well looked after. Fantastic meals. Most importantly the staff are wonderful, friendly and look after child so well with a variety of activities. Keep parents well informed and have lots of events on too.

My daughter has attended Toad Hall for 18 months and loves every minute she spends there.

When she joined she had a tough time settling as she was very clingy, but the staff made the transition so easy and she soon settled. The facilities are excellent, very clean and tidy. The staff are very well trained and very attentive with the children. Her development has come on leaps and bounds too and she is a very sociable little girl.

The chef is also very very good and caters to all needs. My child eats absolutely everything.

Overall this is a fabulous nursery setting and the team are amazing. I'm so glad I picked this nursery for my daughter as is delivers on every level and will send my next child there too.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Toad Hall Nursery. I know she is in safe hands and is going to really enjoy herself while learning key skills through play. The staff are all very friendly and really know your child, even if they are not their key worker. Feedback regarding your child's activities is given daily, both verbally and also written, and also at parents evenings, where their progress is reviewed. I have personally recommended this nursery to lots of other people and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

An excellent Nursery. We have experienced the fantastic care in all rooms. The staff are extremely well trained, professional and caring. The facilities are clean and well looked after. The preschool teaching is great and the children are involved in an array of different activities - art, singing, sport, Spanish, baking. Our children love attending and have come on in leaps and bounds! We're all made to feel special, supported and cared for. I would absolutely recommend.

My grandson attends Toad Hall Nursery, he is extremely happy and loves to tell us all about his day and how much he is learning. His social skills are excellent and he is very fond of all his careers and the help and support they give him shows in all aspects of his life.

Our son has been at Toad Hall since September 2014 and absolutes loves it. The staff in the baby room were great at helping him settle in which made returning to work much less stressful. Every room has access to outdoor space and they go outside pretty much every day unless the weather is terrible. All of the staff say hello and know his name even if they aren't in his room which makes it feel really friendly. The younger rooms have Rosie's Rock and Rollers come in once a week plus they do lots of artwork and messy play. Our daughter starts in January so hoping she will be just as happy there.

I would highly recommend this nursery, such a lovely family environment.
