Our son has been at Bright Beginnings Day Nurseries Twickenham for around 2 months and overall the experience has been first class. His settling in period was very well structured and the nursery allowed a suitable period of time for our son to establish a bond with one particular member of staff who
has become his key worker.

Communication is excellent in particular via the Tapestry and all staff are extremely welcoming and put the wellbeing and development of the children at the centre of everything they do.

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the past 10 months and is very happy there. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and she has developed strong bonds with several practitioners. They offer a fantastic range of activities (painting, music, group time, stories, outings etc) and
work really well with us as parents to ensure our daughter is happy and developing new skills.

Bright Beginnings is a brilliant nursery, the staff are all so friendly and helpful. All of the staff have been supportive of my child's needs and have helped him settle in quickly. My child has learn't so much whilst being at this nursery and this is all down to the brilliant staff. I would like to
thank everyone at Bright Beginnings Twickenham. I look forward to continuing my journey with you all to help my child grow in many ways.

Bright Beginnings has been a wonderful environment to leave my son for 3 days a week. He is very well cared for and has quickly fitted into a routine playing with the other children and the carers. I love the toys and activities they do with the children, painting, singing, sandpit, walks etc. My son
particularly likes cuddles with two ladies who have a great bond with him. He has had a couple of very normal ailments whilst at nursery which the team have dealt with meticulously and really looked after him until I have been able to collect him.

I don't have specific feedback. In general I would say I am happy with the care they provide to my daughter, they have a great variety of activities and equipment to keep the children entertained. I am grateful most of the staff help the children to learn other languages or practice my daughters mother
tongue.
I would like they promote parents committee.
They prepare interesting workshops about AiD etc.

My son has not been at nursery very long but seems to be setting in the there well. Everyone is very friendly and they seem to look after him well. More bumps than I would like but I guess typical for the age and level my son is at.
The nursery seems to be at full capacity which means that they must
be good but always seems busy and not really sure full attention is given. But can't say for sure as early days. Summary: happy!

The staff and management are extremely welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. My child has settled well and is developing very well. The practitioners have gone out of their way to make my family feel at ease and show a positive attitude to working closely with us in benefit for our child. My family

My child feels comfortable and happy. Sometimes he doesn't even want to go home! The selection of toys is great. I can always spot some new additions. The most important thing is for the friendly staff. They always smile and make him feel comfortable.

We have been extremely happy with the care provided at Bright Beginnings for our little boy - he started the nursery at quite a young age (4 months) and has thrived. He is always happy and excited to arrive and the staff are consistently friendly, caring and very professional - both of our nephews also
attend the nursery and thoroughly enjoy it - I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bright Beginnings Day Nursery.

Both my daughters have been at Bright Beginnings since they were small. They have both always been so happy there- helped largely by the fantastic care they have received under the Room Leader and her team. My youngest claps her hands with joy when we arrive at nursery in the morning and she sees her.

Current Review Score: 8.7 (8.725)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.7 (8.725) out of 10 for Riverside Nursery Schools, Grosvenor House is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 9 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.0 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.698 for Riverside Nursery Schools, Grosvenor House is calculated as follows: ( (92 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) + (4 Satisfactorys x 3) + (7 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 106 Ratings = 4.698
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.027 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Riverside Nursery Schools, Grosvenor House is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 3.65
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 106 number of registered child places is 21.2. 8 Positive Reviews ÷ 21.2 = 0.377
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
