Nurtured Nursery St Winnow

Well what can I say - I can’t fault this nursery. My boys are 4 and 2 years old both been there since around 9 months old. They love it. Very welcoming staff, lots to do, good food, great outdoor space and they learn so much. They have gone above and beyond for us the last few months - Such a lovely nursery thank you!

Our daughter absolutely loves the nursery as do we. All the staff are amazing with the children. They focus on learning through play and use so many great activities with a real focus on outdoor learning. My daughter loves it so much we have to book in sessions during the holidays because she misses it so much.

The managers and staff are so accommodating that nothing ever feels like too much trouble. Healthy home cooked food that my daughter loves is a huge bonus.

I can’t recommend nurtured enough.

All of the nursery staff are so friendly and approachable. The nursery itself has such a relaxing atmosphere and the surroundings are not overwhelming, unlike some other nurseries. My daughter settled in really fast which makes me feel at ease when I’m at work.

I would recommend this nursery for all the right reasons, the standard is always 110%, my child has been with the nursery for over 6 years now. I feel happy in leaving him and knowing he will be very well cared for whilst I go to work, he is given every opportunity to try new things, come rain or shine, the outdoor space is very good for outdoor learning. He comes home daily explaining what he has learnt about his surroundings and the many adventures he has had, the children learn with play. The staff also spend valuable time with each and every child, they bring out the best in all the children. The inside space for the children is very well thought out to enhance each and every experience, whilst teaching the children valuable life skills which also makes for happy children who work hard and are kind to each other also the meals are very good.

I couldn’t be more happy with Nurtured. My twins attend and have done since they were 6 months old and my 5 year old also attended. From the moment you arrive, the staff are there with the warmest of welcomes. They take great care and pride in getting to know each of the children, seeing them as the unique individuals that they are, to best support, challenge them with appropriate development goals, ignite their interest and make the setting fun and rewarding for each child.

Every member of staff is truly outstanding and we feel so lucky to have such exceptional care for our children. I think Nurtured provides the perfect balance with the care I give the children at home as they have so many new, exciting, stimulating experiences, many of which are outdoor, active and involve nurturing their love of nature.

I can not recommend Nurtured highly enough and am going to be devastated come September when our twins move up to school!

Great staff, very caring and understanding, willing to put that extra in to help our son's progression and learning. Smoothly run with lots of outside activities. Food made on site. Lots of fun and humour. Very forward thinking nursery, with lots of love and nurturing.

My child loves this nursery. The staff are amazing and it's a lovely environment. Plenty to keep them occupied and I always pick up a happy toddler. Couldn't ask for more from a nursery.

My son absolutely loves Nurtured Nursery. He has been going there since he was 8 months and I am extremely impressed with the quality of childcare and learning environment that it provides. Whenever I collect him, he is always so excited to tell me what he has been up to that day. I am kept continuously informed of his progress via his Learning Journey. Great outdoor space for exploring and playing. Amazing food.

My daughter attends St Winnow Nurtured Nursery 3 days a week and absolutely loves it!! The staff are so friendly and really care about the children, it feels like a little family. Since being at the nursery my daughter has grown in confidence, she has developed strong friendships with other children and gets excited every morning to go to nursery, in fact, it's hard to get her out of there!! I have had times when I have needed her to go in on different days, and the staff have always done their very best to accommodate this. They have always been quick to let me know if there have been any problems and I trust them completely to provide the best care possible for my daughter. I 100% recommend Nurtured Nursery, it is so lovely and any child would be happy there.

Sad my child will be leaving for school in September.

My son has settled so well and has been made to feel so welcome. There’s a real sense of family in the room and my son is always asking when he can go again!

My 3 year old has attended the nursery since he was 14 months old and the nursery have supported him at every stage of his development. He loves going to nursery and this is all down to the friendly and dedicated staff who work with you with regards to development. I am due to have twins shortly and they will also be attending Nurtured Nursery, I can’t think of a better environment for my children. Well done to the fantastic team!

My child loves coming to this nursery and loves the homemade meals they get. The staff are very helpful and nothing is ever a problem for them to do. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Our son attends Nurtured and we are so delighted with the nursery. The staff are all wonderful. Food fantastic, just a lovely atmosphere and very confident dropping my little one off knowing he is going to have a great day.

I had to take my child to nursery from an early age and to start off with, it made me very anxious. As soon as we walked into Nurtured Nursery St Winnow, this changed. Such a welcoming and lovely atmosphere. My son absolutely loves spending the days there and he has made lots of friends. Only problem is trying to get him out of there at the end of the day. He just does not want to leave.

My son has been attending Nurtured Nursery St Winnow for 2 years and has thoroughly enjoyed it, he is now starting school. I drop him off at 8 am and collect him after tea. All I provide is a change of clothes. He receives excellent care, breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks provided. He is encouraged to develop and the team are always keen to assist with any learning/development needs identified. The drop off is lovely with each child getting immediate attention and on collection a lovely summary of their day. I used another nursery before which was well below the standard Nurtured Nursery St Winnow provide but allows me to now appreciate the excellent service they offer. The children always seem happy and are offered lots of play and learning options. The outside area is wonderful and they seem to use it at every opportunity. I will miss the interaction, the wonderful learning journeys, the enthusiasm showed by all the staff and the quality of care provided. Thanks Nurtured for all you have done for us.

This is a really fantastic nursery with very dedicated and caring staff. There are lots of different and creative activities for the children to take part in, and the staff are always coming up with brilliant new ideas each week. There's a great outdoor ethos with the children spending lots of time having fun outside. The inside and outdoor spaces are both great. Nothing is too much trouble, our daughter loves it there and is really flourishing. Great communication between staff and parents - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been going to the nursery since January 2017, at first she wasn't keen at being left behind but the staff were brilliant and now she loves going. The food is also great and our daughter nearly always has seconds! What I also like is that the children are encouraged to go out play as often as possible.
