Nurtured Nursery St Winnow

Our daughter has been at Nurtured Nursery St Winnow since she was 1 year old and from the very start, we have been delighted with the care she receives. From the moment we dropped her off on her first day we were put at ease by the key workers who helped us through the troublesome toddler and toilet training stage, and who got her ready to start at ‘big’ school, absolutely all the staff are fantastic here! They genuinely care about each child and help them develop both their social skills and educational needs, and the chef for preparing all the meals does a fantastic job of providing a varied, healthy, and delicious menu (our daughter loves the fish pie and the puddings!), and the Manager is always helpful, flexible and swift to reply with all of our random questions. The outside spaces are great and you know the children are always outside having fun, even in the rain! If you’re not sure where to send your child to nursery, look no further you won’t regret it!

Fantastic Nursery and an incredible staff who work so hard providing the best possible care for your child and also as a family. We as a family cannot thank them enough for all the love and care they have provided for our children over a number of years. Our last child is off to school and is so ready for his next step into the big world thanks to Nurtured. I also wanted to say the food that the on-site chef provides is amazing and my son is really going to miss her delicious meals. All healthy and filling for those little tums. Thanks very much.

This Nursery is truly exceptional. The staff make this place special going above and beyond creating an environment that not only teaches your child the skills necessary to transition into school with ease but grow on a personal level as well. As my last child leaves I can say without a doubt I am thankful and proud my son and his sister experienced Nurtured Nursery St Winnow. They have helped my son both emotionally and mentally be prepared for the next step of his journey through life. They are caring, kind and supportive at all times. They encourage growth at a child by child pace. They share their kind and caring natures with the children and this reflects in my sons learnt compassion and kindness. If you choose Nurtured your child will receive a premier experience of child care without equal. My child is happier for being there. Wonderfully caring team. Lots of activities and just a great atmosphere. Felt very well looked after during the settling in period. The activities are varied and the outside space is great. We look forward to having more sessions.

My son has been coming since he was seven months old and he loves it! I couldn't recommend Nurtured Nursery St Winnow enough, all the staff are lovely and always go above and beyond expectations. The nursery has a relaxed atmosphere, I feel confident leaving my son knowing that he is well taken care of and having lots of fun, whilst they promote learning. The daily diary is a lovely touch and keeps me well informed about my son's day. I'm so pleased my child goes here! Would highly recommend.

Excellent nursery, couldn’t fault them for their care and support of our two little ones through age 1 to 4. Our children love to going too and they know the children well, helping them nurture their interests and learning through play. They also support the parents with transitions and have been really understanding through this past strange and difficult year, helping where they are able to. Thank you!

We absolutely love our nursery. Both of our kids have flourished into amazingly bright human beings, especially since attending pre-school more regularly. The transition to school for our eldest child was seamless and we'll miss all the team when our youngest goes to school in September.

We really value the hard work and care the staff are undertaking. They take their time with our children and have developed a lovely relationship. They are really good at supporting us as parents as well. They have positively contributed to the development of our children.

I was a very nervous mum leaving my son at nursery as I have never left him before. I truly can't rate Nurtured Nursery enough, they welcomed him with open arms and made me feel very comfortable and happy leaving my son in their care. They have worked wonders with helping him with his speech and eating habits. I'm going to be sad when he leaves to start school.

Both of my children have attended this nursery. My eldest son, now six, is a confident, outgoing and bright young boy all thanks to Nurtured. He attended from eight months and settled in amazingly. The staff are amazing and will help with any queries and questions that you have in a professional yet personal manner and I feel as though they are very approachable because of this. They have a fantastic knowledge of each child and completely understand that what works for one child, might not for another. My youngest son who started attending at eight months also, is a much more timid boy yet the staff know exactly how to help him settle in and come out of his shell. Key workers are carefully selected so that the child has an adult they can communicate well with and one that they have a good relationship and bond with. I have left both my sons at Nurtured every day, safe in the knowledge that the staff will do what is right and safe for my children. I cannot recommend highly enough .

My son has been at the nursery for two months now and he has loved it from day one! The staff are extremely friendly and caring and I can tell that my son trusts and likes them. I have been so pleased with his physical and mental development which reassures me that he is receiving top-rate stimulation for his age. He's always excited to arrive and still happy at hometime.

I would highly recommend Nurtured Nursery they are absolutely fantastic with my daughter she gets so excited when she knows she is going in. They are very good with her, and always inform me of what she has been doing the days she has been in.

The food/nappy/activity diary is a lovely touch and keeps me well informed about my sons day. Would highly recommend this setting.

Nurtured Nursery is everything that I wanted from a nursery and more. Caring and attentive staff who see caring for my daughter as something much more than a job.

If you want your little person to have a kind, loving and nurturing environment whilst you aren’t able to have them, then this is the perfect setting.

We have found Nurtured Nursery to be an absolutely amazing setting for our son. The staff are attentive, caring and brilliant fun. They plan the day so well and our son seems to enjoy everything they do. The facilities are outstanding as is the food. The children always seem happy and excited to be there. The communication between staff and parent is excellent as are the learning journey books.

Our son recently started at Nurtured Nursery in the baby room and we cannot recommend this nursery enough. The staff are always happy, kind and helpful and will always go that extra mile. The facilities they have there are wonderful, with forest school for the older children, a lovely outdoor garden for the toodles and a lovely outdoor patio area for the babies. The meals they give the children are amazing, we always joke that our son eats better at nursery than we do! Before we found Nurtured I couldn’t imagine ever feeling comfortable leaving our son at a nursery and going to work for the day but knowing they look after him so well and seeing how happy he is there has made that a much easier process. We particularly like the little review book the staff fill out each day that tells you exactly what he’s eaten/nappy changes/bottles etc. I honestly cannot recommend Nurtured Nursery enough.
