Nurtured Nursery St Winnow

My daughter has been attending Nurtured Nursery for 7 months. She absolutely loves the nursery and the staff. We love the setting because we love that the children spend so much time outside. They do lots of wonderful activities with the children and our daughter enjoys the food served. Every part of our experience so far at Nurtured has been extremely positive and we are happy

I am so pleased that we chose Nurtured Nursery for our son. He started at just 9 months old and has truly blossomed during his time there.

I was initially very nervous about leaving him, but seeing how excited he is when he arrives speaks volumes-not only about the setting itself, but more importantly about the wonderful staff. It has also really helped ease my own feelings of guilt.

For reasons still being investigated, he has struggled with eating lumpy foods. Throughout this, the staff have been incredibly understanding, patient, and supportive. They have gone above and beyond to help build his confidence around food, and we are so grateful for their care and dedication.

The team are expectional! They care so much about the children, not just in the big ways, but in the tiny day-to-day interactions that make your little one feel secure. For both my eldest who has now left the nursery to my youngest who recently started, we've had the same familiar faces from the start, a consistency that's meant the world to both children. We're updated at every pick up and they record the sweetest little observations and milestones in their learning journal, it gives such a personal touch. The food is outstanding

My youngest daughter has been at Nurtured since she was 9 months old and I had to go back to work earlier than I wanted. She has thrived there and loves the baby room staff completely! This is so reassuring. I love the photo books that record her journey there it's a beautiful thing to keep and so personal! She's ready to move to the toddler room and the staff are so caring to slowly transition her across. My eldest daughter is 5 and, it's the same staff there who know both my daughters and us as a family which means so much to us in terms of consistency and staff retention. I highly recommend this nursery, especially as a mum who felt so torn about returning to work.

Our son started at nursery and we had heard wonderful things about Nurtured. They were above our expectations (which were high with an outstanding Ofsted rating). The staff become family to your child and they care so much about them and go above and beyond every session. The facilities are outstanding but the care and attention they offer our son is beyond what you could hope for. I recommend this wonderful nursery to anyone. They listen to any concerns and help bring out the best in your child and work very hard to support where needed. The communication is there every day as well as written, in a journal, via your key or even bumping into them in the supermarket! The incredible staff make this wonderful facility the best you will ever find and we are so lucky to have this super team locally. The waiting list can be long - they are so good everyone wants their child to come here! Our son absolutely loves it at Nurtured and the team behind it. Thank you so much Nurtured! 10 out of 10!

My daughter has attended Nurtured Nursery for a few months now and I have absolutely no complaints. From the offset, all of the staff have been friendly and helpful and so welcoming. I was very anxious about her starting nursery, but the staff were amazing with helping us both settle in. The communication from the admin and all staff is great. The baby and toddler staff fill in a little diary of what the children have eaten/napped and it’s so helpful to have that written down. The facilities there are amazing, the first time even looking round the place I knew it was going to be great just to see how much thought has been put into it all. The food that they receive is so well planned and made I have no worries about what my child is eating during their time there! I’m sure I couldn’t recommend the nursery more, it is beyond excellent.

We recently moved our daughter from a different nursery as we were moving house and Nurtured Nursery made the whole thing so smooth. We had delays with the move and they were really understanding and accommodating to that. Our daughter has now been attending nurtured for three months and she's so happy there. The staff are incredible, our daughter loves going there way more than the previous nursery and we thought they had set the bar high! I highly recommend Nurtured to anyone looking for childcare in the area.

The team in the baby room have been so wonderful with my little boy. He loves coming to the nursery, and he gets excited when we arrive. They are so caring and patient towards him. He has built a lovely relationship with one member of staff especially, and we are pleased with everything that Nurtured Nursery has to offer. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Nurtured is THE most amazing nursery! From the very first contact, all the way through until my son's last day the staff were outstanding. I literally cannot praise them enough for the care they showed my son. They were also professional and knowledgeable about child development. They spent time really getting to know my son and noticed the little things. He loved going there and is missing them now he is in school. They are everything we wanted in a nursery and more. They are well organised, with good communication. My son has additional needs and he had the best support provided to him by the SENDCo and the whole team. No one cares for your child like you do, but Nurtured come very close! Thank you Nurtured Nursery.

I can't recommend Nurtured Nursery enough, my daughter is now in the preschool and she loves it! She looks forward to going every day and has made some lovely little friends. Each member of staff are caring knowledgeable and approachable and she adores them all. The activities are creative and each meal and snack nutritious and delicious (according to my daughter)!

I cannot recommend this nursery enough I really wouldn’t have sent my daughter anywhere else and I am really doing to miss this place!

My daughter previously attended Nurtured Nursery and loved it so it was an easy decision to enrol my son towards the end of last year at 9 months. He is currently in the baby room where he receives excellent care. He loves the days he goes to nursery and is always full of smiles when I collect him. All the staff are super friendly and genuinely care about giving the children the best experience possible. They always plan a variety of different activities helping children reach their milestones through play.

The facilities are excellent inside and out, always clean. The food is also great. The communication, billing and admin side of things runs smoothly, whenever I've had a query it's been resolved quickly. I looked at a lot of nurseries before first visiting Nurtured, none of them quite measured up. Nurtured Nursery felt right straight away because they have the balance of everything just right.

Can't recommend them highly enough.

They do lots of role-playing and art activities. The food is cooked on-site by a cook every day and it’s a good menu.

The staff are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Get verbal feedback every day and then they also have individual child booklets to show progress with pictures which are a great keepsake.

Welcoming, friendly and positive atmosphere. The staff are always so happy and very easy to talk to. The nursery follows a child led, gentle approach with leaning and exploring which they do to a high standard.

We are huge fans of Nurtured Nursery St Winnow in our household, with all three of my children having attended and thoroughly enjoyed their time there. The staff are always so caring, compassionate and understanding of each child as a unique little person, and they are always happy to do what they can to help each child feel safe and settled. You feel like you are leaving your children with extended family who genuinely care about your child. They keep the environment stimulating and interesting, with spaces for downtime available where needed. The outdoor space is also great and I know they are making improvements to the environment all the time, with exciting new building work planned which will no doubt further enhance the service that they offer. The staff are amazing, some of which have seen all three of my children pass through the nursery which I believe speaks volumes for nurtured as an organisation who not only nurture the children that attend but their staff too. highly recommend.

We wouldn't want our daughter to go anywhere else.

Nurtured Nursery is amazing. I cannot recommend it enough. My daughter absolutely loves it, each day I pick her up I have to drag her away. All the staff are brilliant and form such close bonds with the children. I will definitely be sending my son when the time comes.

I wouldn’t leave my child anywhere else! Nurtured have been amazing! 2020/2021 has been tough for everyone and all the staff there are amazing! They make a great team and are always happy to help with the wellbeing of your child as their priority!
