Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Preschool

Our son has been coming 5 days a week since he was 6 months old. All of the staff are wonderful, the renovations have made the spaces amazing for the children and I couldn’t think of a better place to send my son. 5-star review! Thanks for everyone’s hard work and dedication.

We love sending our daughter to Otterbourne, Bright Horizons. The staff are fabulous and really nurturing. There are so many things for them to do. We couldn’t recommend a better place to send our daughter!

Friendly staff. Fantastic site. Welcoming in every aspect. Just a brilliant place all round. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The only problem I have, is that I am too old to go myself.

We moved our little one to this nursery six months ago and are so pleased with the way she has settled in. The staff are so helpful and friendly and our child comes home happy, looking forward to the next day. There are weekly themes and focus subjects to keep them engaged. It's great to see some positive developments and how they encourage children to interact. Can't recommend enough!

I am so grateful that we chose Bright Horizons Otterbourne. Our daughter is now in pre school year and has been through all the rooms and teams. They have all been exceptional. She joined the nursery at 11 months old and is now 3.5 years old. She has been in the baby, toddler and now the nursery room and has thrived in each one. The team are absolutely outstanding, led by the most brilliant management team. They take care of her well-being alongside teaching her so much. Our twin daughters are due to join her shortly and we look forward to sharing more journeys over the years with the team at Otterbourne.

The boys have always had so much fun and getting involved in all of the activities and I love the outdoor space they have access to.

I highly recommend this nursery; from an anxious mummy dropping a 9-month-old off, to a relived and happy mummy.

We love the nursery. It is clean and the staff are always upbeat and switched on. The team come up with really varied activities and regularly have a theme for the week, so my little one does something new and exciting each week. Staff are really engaged and great at communication (especially with this nervous first time mum!). Great outdoor space. It's always tidy. The garden is split into sections, so babies/toddlers/preschoolers each have their own zones with appropriate equipment/toys.

Both of my children attend Bright Horizons, Otterbourne and have done since they were 10 months old. We have had an excellent experience with the nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and clearly offer excellent care to all of the children. It has been wonderful to see my children thrive and learn in this nurturing environment. The management staff are also very helpful when it comes to dealing with personal matters such as pregnancy and do their best to be flexible when you need it. I really appreciate the regular updates and photographs we get that show the different activities the children get up to.

Both of our daughters have loved their time at Bright Horizons, Otterbourne – one is now school age and she started with a great foundation thanks to the wonderful staff – her social skills were brilliant and she was school-ready. We were so impressed with the introduction to learning and the kind and caring atmosphere encouraged and upheld throughout their time at the nursery. My youngest is soon to leave, and I know she will miss everyone there, as will we. There is nothing better than dropping your child off, knowing they are with wonderful, lovely people who really care about them. We cannot thank them enough for the care they have given our girls. We can't recommend them enough!

My son has been in Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery now since he was a toddler. Had nothing but a fantastic experience. He is now in preschool and he has developed immensely, no doubt due to the wonderful staff. They have started getting him prepared for school and the activities and focus they provide is outstanding. He is such a happy boy and has made so many wonderful friends and he loves going to nursery, has never once been hesitant. Couldn’t rate the nursery or team highly enough!

Everyone has been so warm and welcoming. Nothing is too much bother for my little one's key worker. I feel so lucky to have such wonderful people looking after my child and giving him so many new experiences that I'd never think to do with him myself. Thank you so much!

Our daughter has been going to Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Preschool for just under a year and it's a brilliant nursery. The staff are great, they seem to be very attentive and always on the ball with all kids, which cannot be easy! One great touch is the weekly summary we get, that is specific to our daughter. It is great to read how she is doing and see pictures of her enjoying her time there.

We could not be happier that we chose Otterbourne, Bright Horizons to send our son to. The staff are friendly and helpful and their communication is excellent. We know our son is safe in their care and always has a smile on his face at pick-up!

Since putting my daughter in this nursery, I have been so impressed by the outstanding level of care she has been given. Every member of staff has been enthusiastic, proactive and so compassionate. They made my return to work so easy. It has been wonderful to watch my daughter flourish under their expert care. The nursery has been able to stimulate her in new and exciting ways.

My daughter really loves her days in nursery. She is happy when she is back from school. Overall, we are happy with how she settled in. She attended the nursery at 15 months old and now she has moved into the toddler room.

I have nothing but good things to say about this nursery. My child has attended since they were just over a year old and almost immediately I started to see their development improve. The skills taught and the activities are always varied and age-appropriate. The children are always given safe limits to explore and learn. Without question, my now nearly 3-year-old would not be as well developed as they are without the input of everyone at this nursery.

We have had two children go through the nursery. Cannot fault them. Lovely, caring, friendly staff who we have always had full confidence in to look after our children. It’s a great building, with great resources and facilities, clean and tidy, and well looked after and well managed. Would thoroughly recommend!
