Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Preschool

The staff at Bright Horizons Otterbourne are absolutely wonderful. They are always kind, cheery and informative at pick up and drop off, and offer helpful advice when it is needed. They're appreciative and supportive of all children, irrespective of differences. They have thorough systems in place for when children are ill and/or on medication. Their communication both through the app and through phone calls is appreciated and timely.

I couldn't be happier with how my baby boy has settled and the support from his key worker, as well as the rest of the baby room team. He has such a lovely time and the weekly observations provide a really lovely insight into all the different activities he's been doing. Everyone is really friendly, and it's lovely how all the staff greeted my baby boy by his name when we arrive for drop off.

We couldn't be happier with how quickly our little boy has settled in. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive. Our little boy loves nursery days. Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Preschool is the best decision we made for him.

My daughter has only just started in the Preschool Hub at the start of April but the transition has gone so smoothly. The trials went very well and my daughter went in on her first day happy, no tears and there hasn't been a day she hasn't wanted to go in. The team have been amazingly supportive and her key person, in particular, has been a huge support. The Preschool Hub has been set up beautifully, with all their favourite toys and we have had some lovely updates of what they have been up to on the app. The lovely garden has also been a big part of why my daughter loves her new setting. Thank you to everyone!

Couldn’t be happier that my child goes to this nursery. The team is really friendly and my daughter seems to be thriving there. Like many, my daughter loves the outdoors, so the space they have is invaluable and I love that they facilitate forest school activities and lots of water play. Her key person is wonderful and I feel that she does really ‘get’ my daughter and is fab at tending to her needs. I am happy with the communication I receive and get regular updates, especially via the app.

The meals are varied and balanced and we get reassuring updates in the app on how she's eating and napping during the day.

This nursery has exceeded our expectations. Our son is in the baby room and he’s excited to be there. He is so well looked after, it’s like leaving him with family. Our key worker is so patient and caring of him and every person we meet on visits to nursery are always so kind and friendly. The opportunities they have every day are so interesting and exciting even for the babies, thrilled our son goes to Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Preschool.

Bright Horizons Otterbourne is great! We have always had great communication with the staff, who are always polite and happy to see you. The app is a great addition to the overall experience. We often take tips from the posts on there and create extra activities at home. Thanks to all the staff, who we have had the pleasure of dealing with.

Such a friendly team and very welcoming. From the start I have felt very relaxed leaving my baby in their capable hands. They always give me a nice run down of what my son has been up to during the day and have loads of different toys for him to play with.

I highly recommend this nursery.

My grandson has been with you for 18 months. He is a lovely boy and has learned how to share his toys and play with other children and has learned to do things on his own if he wants to. He has been learning about plants and how to grow them and comes home and tells me and always checks on the things we have at home, like sunflower seeds, broad beans and strawberries and, even, on our caterpillars that are growing into butterflies. He has done so well in his time, so far, with the Otterbourne Nursery. I can't praise this nursery enough for what they have done for his development. Thank you.

Excellent nursery and pre-school. Has done an amazing job to prepare our daughter for school. The staff are friendly and informative about the children’s progress. The online app is great to see how they are progressing.

Our child loves nursery! The toddler room has lots of lovely opportunities, including crafts, water play and themed weeks. It’s great to see all the staff (from other rooms too) know all the children. The feedback is really good with the app.

Our son has been at Otterbourne for a year now and has had the best experience. He has thrived so much and blossomed thanks to the staff at Bright Horizons. They’re so warm and friendly and the pride they take in looking after the children is so wonderful to see. I cannot recommend it enough, it’s been amazing!

Our daughter has been at Bright Horizons, Otterbourne for three years, having started in the baby room in Feb 2020. She has thrived there and is so ready for school in September. She has been supported with all her interests and is a confident and happy girl. The staff are always on hand to chat and help with any issues. Our new baby will be starting there next month to begin her nursery journey which we are excited about.

This nursery is really fantastic. The staff are wonderful, and very caring. They really look after the children and our daughter has great relationships with all the adults in her room, not just her key worker. We have another baby on the way and will not hesitate to send them to the same nursery.
