Sunbeams Nursery

Our little boy has been attending Sunbeams Day Nursery for just over a year now, and they’ve been amazing. When initially started, he had difficulty talking; within a few months and lots of effort, they had him talking! Whilst being there, he’s been going through dairy-free diets, and they’ve tailored to every need he’s had. They’ve supported us as parents and have continued to bring out the best in him. He’s grown, developed and blossomed, and it’s all thanks to the girls. His key worker has the most amazing bond with him, and he loves to come into the nursery to see her. The other girls are also so loving with him. He’s made the best friends there, and they really are all like a family! I trust them with him, and we would be lost without them.

It is a warm, clean and comforting environment. My son starting singing songs at home after only three days of attending the nursery, and I was very much surprised considering English is not his first language. The staff are amazing to him and to me; their app is super useful!

My granddaughter has been coming to this nursery as a baby and I’ve been collecting her on a regular basis. Since she has been able to talk she has always told me about the fun things she has done during the day. The nursery provides exciting activities for the children but you know there’s an element of learning built in. I’m in no doubt that my granddaughter is more advanced in her learning due to the years she has spent at nursery. She speaks fondly of all the staff and other children and looks forward to going each day. When she starts school later this year she is really going to miss coming here along with the staff and friends she has made.

My daughter started here in March this year, I was so worried as she has been with me everyday until she was two and a half. All members of staff were so welcoming to both of us. My daughter has settled in full time now and absolutely loves it! She tells me every day what she has been up to and always talks about the girls who take care of her, especially one member of staff. It’s so nice to know she is part of such a friendly environment where she is clearly being stimulated constantly as her speech and development has come on so much in such a short space of time. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they do for her to make her happy. Seeing her go in with a smile on her face every morning, clearly shows she is so comfortable which in turn leaves me feeling comfortable too. Thank you so much guys, what a fantastic team you are!

My little boy has been here since February 2021 and I can’t believe how much he’s learnt and grown within himself by the help of the amazing workers in the nursery. From understanding his speech wasn’t great, to sending me pictures of him through the day of him playing, I feel so understood by this nursery and know my boy is in the best possible hands to learn and grow when he’s at this nursery. I will be forever grateful and I can’t wait to see what else he gets up to whilst he’s here! Thank you for everything you’ve done for us and what you continue to do for my son.

Brilliant nursery and brilliant staff. The staff always take the time to keep you informed of how your child is getting on. Always healthy meals and since the refurbishment the nursery is looking awesome.

My daughter started at Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton just after her second birthday in October and I was concerned about how she would get on after spending seven months in lockdown and not socialising with other children. However, all the staff are brilliant and reassured me in her first few weeks and now she loves going and seeing all her friends. I can see a huge improvement in her development since starting. She's become more outgoing and her speech has improved massively and I feel that nursery have played a huge part in that. I'm always kept updated during the day with how she is and it means I can relax and get on with my work knowing she's happy and well cared for.

My granddaughter has been going to Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton for about six months and she has come on leaps and bounds. She is more active and receptive in all aspects of communication. The staff at Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton are very patient and understanding with children and will try their best to sort out any problems that you may have. I would recommend Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton to anyone wanting to find a nursery.

My little one is three years old and has just gone to nursery for the 1st time. I could not be happier, they have been great with not only my son, but with the 1000s of question I have had making me feel at ease leaving him in their care. He has come on leaps and has only been there since January. Keep up the good work and well done to the manager and the rest of the team.

My grandson has attended other nursery and never settled. Since starting at Sunbeams, he can’t wait to go and doesn’t want to go home. The activities change on a day to day basis, so they never get bored. The place is lovely and clean have good covid safety in place. The staff are all lovely and friendly and keep us informed of via the parent app of everything he does during the day. Couldn’t ask for any more.

My daughter who’s two started this nursery in the middle of January and settled straight away. My daughter has additional needs, and when looking around at nurseries, this one definitely stood out to me. The staff are so lovely and friendly, and the building looks amazing since the refurb. Would definitely recommend this nursery.

I am so happy that my 11-month-old was able to start at Sunbeams in the baby room just under two weeks ago. When I had a look around, I love that they use a lot of natural resources, as well as recycled allowing children to use their ever-growing incredible imaginations as well as helping the environment and stopping the use of single plastic toys. I was so worried about how my little one would settle, but the staff made him and me feel so confident and at ease; he has just taken it in his stride. He has amazing bonds with all the staff, but especially those who were in his room, which to me, shows how passionate and caring they are. Last year, limited what we could do, so it’s been nice to see him play with children his own age of similar. Sunbeams use an app to keep parents and carers up to date with day to day activities such as meal times, and the amount eaten, as well as nappies/ toileting, but the best bit, is the photos they upload of all the fun they have, and my, do they have fun!

My child enjoys going to the nursery and I would highly recommend it.

My son attended Sunbeams before he started reception. My son attended another setting before Sunbeams but didn't settle. The staff are so welcoming and kept me up to date with my child's development. He would bring home pictures of what he had done and would be so excited to tell us about his day. I will not hesitate to send my next child to Sunbeams.

My son only finished due to lockdown and then went onto school but I love Sunbeams, and I couldn't recommend the nursery enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always spoke to me on a daily basis. We miss everyone so much that, we are going to visit when we come out of lockdown to show everyone his uniform. The menus are brilliant, there is a variety of food and things on them what I would never have made my son but now I know he eats these things we have started to make them at home.

Daughter enjoys going to nursery and has a good relationship with all the staff and her friends. All areas of development have come on a lot since starting nursery especially speech and social skills.
