Sunbeams Nursery have recently had a full internal and external refurbishment, to create a warm, friendly, safe and welcoming learning environment for their children to have the best possible start in life.

They have a team of dedicated professionals who provide a warm and friendly atmosphere in a secure learning environment to enable children to grow, develop and take the next steps in life with confidence. Their aim is to provide affordable childcare which encourages and inspires all children to be creative and unique individuals by offering natural environments which are enriched with open-ended resources that gives the children the opportunity to learn through their own play and curiosity.

Brilliant nursery and brilliant staff. The staff always take the time to keep you informed of how your child is getting on. Always healthy meals and since the refurbishment the nursery is looking awesome.

My daughter started at Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton just after her second birthday in October and I was concerned about how she would get on after spending seven months in lockdown and not socialising with other children. However, all the staff are brilliant and reassured me in her first few weeks
and now she loves going and seeing all her friends. I can see a huge improvement in her development since starting. She's become more outgoing and her speech has improved massively and I feel that nursery have played a huge part in that. I'm always kept updated during the day with how she is and it means I can relax and get on with my work knowing she's happy and well cared for.

My granddaughter has been going to Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton for about six months and she has come on leaps and bounds. She is more active and receptive in all aspects of communication. The staff at Sunbeams Day Nursery Atherton are very patient and understanding with children and will try their

My little one is three years old and has just gone to nursery for the 1st time. I could not be happier, they have been great with not only my son, but with the 1000s of question I have had making me feel at ease leaving him in their care. He has come on leaps and has only been there since January. Keep

My grandson has attended other nursery and never settled. Since starting at Sunbeams, he can’t wait to go and doesn’t want to go home. The activities change on a day to day basis, so they never get bored. The place is lovely and clean have good covid safety in place. The staff are all lovely and friendly
and keep us informed of via the parent app of everything he does during the day. Couldn’t ask for any more.

My child is new to the nursery as he’s only just started, he’s done three days.
The app they have is fantastic, you get updated with pictures of what activities they have been taking part in. You get the meal plan, what they’ve had and if eaten all or some etc.
The staff are friendly, and the facilities
on offer are of such great standard.
I can’t fault this nursery setting one bit and would highly recommend.

My daughter who’s two started this nursery in the middle of January and settled straight away. My daughter has additional needs, and when looking around at nurseries, this one definitely stood out to me. The staff are so lovely and friendly, and the building looks amazing since the refurb. The staff at Sunbeams are friendly, helpful and caring towards our 2-year-old. The staff inform us of his progress how he has been throughout the day through an app and in person. The food options are amazing.
I would recommend sunbeams to anybody who asks.

My 10-month-old son has attended this nursery since November 2020. I am extremely happy with the care my son receives and how settled he is. I get regular pictures and updates of his day via the nursery app, and it’s lovely to see how much fun he is having on a daily basis.
All the staff here are
friendly and welcoming, and I would highly recommend this nursery to others.

I am so happy that my 11-month-old was able to start at Sunbeams in the baby room just under two weeks ago. When I had a look around, I love that they use a lot of natural resources, as well as recycled allowing children to use their ever-growing incredible imaginations as well as helping the environment
and stopping the use of single plastic toys. I was so worried about how my little one would settle, but the staff made him and me feel so confident and at ease; he has just taken it in his stride. He has amazing bonds with all the staff, but especially those who were in his room, which to me, shows how passionate and caring they are. Last year, limited what we could do, so it’s been nice to see him play with children his own age of similar. Sunbeams use an app to keep parents and carers up to date with day to day activities such as meal times, and the amount eaten, as well as nappies/ toileting, but the best bit, is the photos they upload of all the fun they have, and my, do they have fun!

My son attended Sunbeams before he started reception. My son attended another setting before Sunbeams but didn't settle. The staff are so welcoming and kept me up to date with my child's development. He would bring home pictures of what he had done and would be so excited to tell us about his day. I
will not hesitate to send my next child to Sunbeams.

My son only finished due to lockdown and then went onto school but I love Sunbeams, and I couldn't recommend the nursery enough. The staff are friendly and welcoming and always spoke to me on a daily basis. We miss everyone so much that, we are going to visit when we come out of lockdown to show everyone
his uniform. The menus are brilliant, there is a variety of food and things on them what I would never have made my son but now I know he eats these things we have started to make them at home.

My son loved coming to nursery before he left for school in September. There always seemed to be lots of activities for the children and was very close with all the staff who were all lovely. The food always smelt lovely too. Thank you for everything you all have done for us.

The staff at Sunbeams are lovely. When I picked my grandson up they would always take the time to discuss in detail what my grandson had been doing. He would also come out of nursery smiling and tell me what he had been doing. The menus are fantastic and I would recommend Sunbeams.

My son attended nursery from him being seven months old to leaving for Reception, which he was well prepared for thanks to all the staff. All the staff have been amazing with him, making him feel happy and comfortable every day. I was kept up to date with his development and what he had been up to day

My son has attended Sunbeams since 8 months old after going to another nursery originally and not settling. We then choose Sunbeams after hearing nothing but brilliant things about the nursery. He has settled here fantastically, never had any issues. Staff keep you well updated and the new app which
allows you to follow your child’s day whilst they are there is amazing. Since lockdown and spending 5 months at home getting him back into nursery routine has been challenging. But I cannot thank the staff enough for the constant patience with him and always reassuring me he’s doing more than ok. He always comes out smiling telling about his day. Highly recommend this nursery, best in the area!
