My daughter started sunbeams in February 2024 after being unsettled at the childminders when she was only 10 months old and soon settled very quickly due to the amazing staff in the baby room. My daughter is now nearly 2 and is thriving. She was very shy and clingy at drop ops and thanks to the staff being so patient and understanding she now runs in so happy. We have had a few health issues with my daughter and the staff have done everything they can to make sure she is healthy and happy. Management are very approachable and understanding and put my mind at ease and plans in place to make sure she is getting the care she needs and keeps me updated throughout the day on the app. My daughters confidence has grown so much and as a family we are so happy knowing how well looked after our daughter is at nursery.

I will recommend this nursery to anyone!

My little girl transferred to Sunbeams from another setting in Nov, since starting she has come on leaps and bounds. Her confidence has grown so much. All the team are amazing and pay attention to detail with every child's interests and what makes them happy. The nursery manager is very approachable and always very helpful. Thank you Sunbeams!

My son started attending Sunbeams in September after his last nursery closed. He was very clingy with me when I was dropping him off, the staff were always amazing, lots of patience, pleasant and different approaches to getting him in the room without him being too upset. He was always fine as soon as I left. Every pickup, staff are so informative as to what they have done during the day, food he has eaten, any accidents come through to the app straight away. It's such a lovely feeling knowing that you are leaving your child with amazing people. He really enjoys going. Activities at home, he always wants to take pictures so that we can show nursery. They recently had a festive "stay and play" I'd had a rubbish morning, and being there for an hour did wonders for my mental health. He was so happy that Mum was there playing with his friends and teachers. Absolutely lovely nursery, and brilliant staff.

Sunbeams is an amazing nursery. the staff are lovely and will go above and beyond. Our child took a bit to settle in and they made sure he was comfortable every time, they give a good update at the end of the day too. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing nursery. My son has really come out of his shell since starting here in April and has formed strong bonds with his key workers. He is always looking forward to going into nursery and the staff are lovely.

My 4 year old has learnt so much and truly enjoys telling me about her day. You can see just how much she has learnt during her short time there. Even better, all the staff know her very well and love following her interests, you can see that the staff really enjoy looking after the children. The end of day handovers are always detailed plus everything is written on the app so I can look throughout the day how they have eaten, slept. Everyone is doing an amazing job and I'm so glad I chose MiChild Sunbeams :)

My son has been attending this nursery for over a year now and we couldn't be happier, my son absolutely loves it he gets excited going in and all smiles coming home. Since attending Sunbeams he's come on leaps and bounds. The communication from nursery staff at the start and end of the day is brilliant not forgetting the parent app too. My child is well fed and looked after and I feel completely confident in sunbeams when I drop my son off.

My son attended Sunbeams Nursery since September 2023 and I can say that he has improved a lot. This is the only nursery that he's found comfortable with in terms of staff and new people in general having been in another nursery previously. One staff, in particular, is very lovely and you can feel the caring attitude towards children. Aside from some staffing issues, Sunbeams Nursery has always been very good in general.

I am very happy with the progress that my child has achieved since coming to nursery, my son is a very shy little boy and I've noticed how much his confidence has come out in him. My son has attended nursery for 3 years, there have been some hard times during this time but I do feel that the staff have kept me up to date and taken measures to make sure that my child is safe so I have no concerns about the safety of my child. I feel like the staff treat my child with the same care and respect as their own and my child never has a bad word to say about them, he comes home daily talking about one lady he absolutely adores everyone in the building. I don't have a bad word to say about any of the staff I met the new manager and I feel like it's a good turnover for the building. My child feels happy and safe in his environment I'm always kept up to date if there's something wrong and I'm more than pleased and confident to send my child here.

Very extraordinary nursery, and friendly staff, my daughter was very happy and impressed, I recommend to everyone, your children will be in good hands, they have very good programs for children, and interesting games.

Having spoken to a parent whose child was at this nursery to fairly recently (this week) I feel a sense of duty to share a true reflection of Sunbeams Nursery. This establishment is the definition of a problem nursery and I cannot stand by and allow people to send their child to an establishment which is not a safe place for children. The following issues are some of the many which we experienced within this setting. Rats, the nursery was infested with rats and by the sounds of it still is. Mass staff turnover to the point where it constantly has agency staff that have been known to bring out the wrong child on multiple occasions. There has also been an incident of safeguarding in regards to a child where the police were involved without the nursery disclosing to parents (my child was in the setting at the time and we were not informed. I found this out only today which has prompted me to post this). There have often been situations where raw food has been served to the children.

Do not second your do not send your child to Sunbeams if you want them to be well cared for in an open and honest setting. I have removed my child from here after 3 years after an array of concerns from a rat issue within the setting, rats infested the nursery and parents were not informed immediately. Children served up uncooked meat. The nursery is unable to open on a day-to-day basis due to unsafe staff-to-child ratios. Parents are notified to keep their child at home until more staff are found to cover. Poor / lack of management. Staff turnover here is insane, a mass exodus of staff after they all realised the ongoing issues. Staff are dishonest when confronted with these issues. The nursery is unkempt and run down. On multiple occasions, the wrong child was handed to the wrong parent. serious red flags here. Bewildered that they are still allowed to operate. (They do not publish the bad reviews so this is unlikely to get published too).
