Sunbeams Nursery is situated close to Atherton's town centre with great public transport and motorway links.

Sunbeams Nursery have recently had a full internal and external refurbishment, to create a warm, friendly, safe and welcoming learning environment for their children to have the best possible start in life.

They have a team of dedicated professionals who provide a warm and friendly atmosphere in a secure learning environment to enable children to grow, develop and take the next steps in life with confidence. Their aim is to provide affordable childcare which encourages and inspires all children to be creative and unique individuals by offering natural environments which are enriched with open-ended resources that gives the children the opportunity to learn through their own play and curiosity.

Sunbeams has been a fantastic experience for me and my daughter. Would highly recommend this nursery. The staff are very helpful and my daughter loves it and has learnt so much and come on leaps and bounds.

My son attended Sunbeams until he went to school, the staff are very polite and approachable and always kept me up to date with my son's progress. My son is a very fussy eater and they would always offer him an alternative, he always came home and would tell me what he had been up to, it always sounded
like he had lots of fun. One thing I liked the most was the app they used for daily routines, I could go on and have a look at any time to see what he had eaten, when he had slept and what activities he had been doing. Overall I was very happy with Sunbeams.

My little boy started here as soon as nursery opened after lockdown and he has struggled with this change, the staff have been nothing but patient with him and are always so caring and helpful. Despite the changes due to COVID, they keep in contact via their app and keep us updated as to how he is getting
on. The staff are knowledgeable and provide stimulating activities every day, the food sounds fantastic and healthy - my gannet of a child never goes hungry! I have no worries when I send my child here each day and wouldn't hesitate to send any future children here.

Our little girl has attended Sunbeams since she was nine months old she turns four soon. I can not fault the care and guidance she has received, it has always been fantastic. She comes home with a smile on her face every day and enjoys telling me everything she has done. The variety of home-cooked food
she gets is amazing. All the staff are excellent and lovely girls. I’ve just recently had another baby and she will be attending when it's time for me to go back to work. I would definitely recommend Sunbeams to anyone.

Our nursery is about making children and parents feel at home but providing activities that are challenging and exciting. The meals are all homemade and our cook is amazing.

My son has been at Sunbeams since he was six months old and he has loved it! He is always excited to go to nursery which really puts my mind at rest when I drop him off. The staff are all wonderful and I've been amazed to see some of the creative activities the children complete every day. There's a
great variety of food (my son tends to ask for a second helping of most meals at nursery) and the children get a good amount of outdoor time. I would highly recommend Sunbeams to anyone, but especially people looking for care for a baby. I always felt confident leaving him knowing the care he received would match how I would care for him myself.

My son has been attending Sunbeams from the age of ten months, he’s now 35 months. He’s always been so settled and well cared for, all staff go above and beyond for the care for my son and this shows in his fab little personality.
I have daily updates on my son's daily routines, etc. but also updates
on his learning journeys and progress report. I was worried about my son's speech but after lots of reassurance from the girls, he has come on leaps and bounds.
I can’t thank the Sunbeams family enough.

We moved to Atherton in October last year, so my son has only been at this nursery about ten months but we have seen him learn so much and grow into a lovely young man ready for primary school. The staff all know his name, not just the staff in his age group which is so lovely.
He absolutely loves
it there and has always been excited to go in the morning, which means a lot to me - as a working mum - knowing your child is absolutely happy and comfortable with their nursery. I am astounded by his knowledge already! My sister in law teaches year one and she says he is more advanced than some of the kids in her class! That’s two years above! We are extremely happy and impressed with how they have taught him as he has got a really short attention span and will sit down to do something at home and get bored and walk off after five minutes.
I’ll be sad for him to leave and wish to thank all the staff, especially in the preschool room, for all they have done for him.

My son has been coming since he was five months old and I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of care he has received and the progress he has made over the last three years. It is an intimate nursery and all the children are known by all the staff. I have been particularly impressed with
how all the staff really understand my son's character and how to bring the best out in him.
The home-cooked food he gets has always been fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for all the staff who constantly engage with the parents with the child's progress.
My son absolutely loves it at Sunbeams and I would 100% recommend this nursery.

I am very happy with this nursery. All the girls working there are amazing. My little girl adores all of them, she can't wait to go there every day. The manager is very helpful. Definitely would recommend this nursery
