Excellent attentive staff, my daughter has loved being at nursery since she was tiny and the key workers have treated her so wonderfully I couldn’t have asked for more. The setting is fantastic - big rooms full of stimulating toys and activities and a beautiful garden with plenty of shade in the summer and great equipment to play with. My daughter is now in preschool and is learning phonics, days of the week, dates among other things and loves it. Couldn't recommend this nursery highly enough.
My eldest daughter attended this nursery from the age of 11 months, she started at the baby room and stayed to pre-school and then moved to primary school. I was really happy with their children centred approach I sent my second daughter there and despite changes in management the nursery has gone from strength to strength. Both my daughters were extremely happy and it is very reassuring for me as a mother to know they were and are in safe hands.
Little Bear's Seagry is an extremely nurturing and caring environment. My daughter started in the 2-3 room where the staff who settled her in and cared for her were excellent. Their interaction with my daughter made me feel reassured at every drop-off. She has now moved to the 3-5s and again, thanks to the thoughtful gradual settling in period, the change has been seamless and she is very happy and comfortable with her new space and key workers. Little Bear's offer a variety of fun activities, including additional ones by external providers for sport and music. They also provide homemade healthy food and snacks throughout the day. One of the best aspects about the service we receive at Little Bear's is that the management is flexible, they listen and follow how you want your child's care to be and they keep you informed of your child's progress through photos, updates and comments, sent throughout your child's day. I would have no problem recommending this lovely local nursery.
It is the best two days she has all week as their facilities are second to none and she socialises with her little ‘friends’ which has been crucial to her early development. Our daughter's key worker keeps us regularly updated with all progress made and we get frequent pictures and videos which is a lovely touch too.
Not only are the nursery staff wonderful but even down to the office staff and the lovely gents who do the school drop offs and pickups, everyone is so lovely and it's a pleasure to walk into the building on a morning.
Our daughter is very happy there - not much more we would ask for to be honest!
Excellent nursery that is child focused. Staff that are polite and are intrested in the child and their well being.
This is a lovely nursery that children genuinely enjoy going to. There are lots of activities and an app so that I can see what has been happening. Pictures and videos are added which is really nice. The staff are very caring and love the children. The meals are varied and snacks are given as fruit. The pram store is indoors which is great. Overall it's a really nice high-quality nursery.
My son loves going to Little Bears. He loves the staff, the new friends he has made there and often asks about them during the weekend. The staff are so warm and loving to my child and I can see that they are happy doing their job and they enjoy having the children around, which clearly has big impacts on the children.
The management team of Little Bears is also excellent. They are always responsive, professional and helpful when we get in touch.
The experience of a nursery is not only about the child but also that of the parents dealing with the management of the nursery. Overall, I would be very happy recommending Little Bears on Seagry Road to any parents in the area.
I am very happy with the overall care my son receives at the nursery. The nursery staff are kind and caring and the management very welcoming.
Excellent nursery, staff take very good care of my little one. He is learning new things and gets to explore a lot.
Both staff and management are very friendly and helpful.
Plus she has settled quite well and quick.
I am glad I chose this nursery.
I have been astounded by the quality of care, attention and also variation of activities for my 1 and 4-year-old at Little Bear's. I have found all the ladies in the office, baby and pre-school room to be incredibly professional, experienced, friendly, fun and confident. I was extremely happy to leave my baby there in particular. The regular activities in the pre-school room have been fantastic - the football coach, a policeman and even the firemen (with engine!) came in on day 1 making drop off REALLY easy! These extra things are organised in addition to what is necessary, it's not compulsory, Little Bear's go above and beyond to make it a fun and happy place, they give their best each day and it shines through. Yesterday there was a zookeeper with a tarantula, lizard, giant snail and a snake! I have experience of 3 nurseries and this is by far the happiest I've been. The outside space is also great, there's shade when it's hot! Compliments to the chef too!
Staff are super lovely and very friendly. My daughter loves attending and has really come on since starting. She’s been encouraged by the amazing teachers and is much more confident in everything she does.
My daughter arrives at nursery with outstretched arms to her care takers and is always happy when I pick her up. What more could I ask for? The nursery manages to be both personable and professional. I trust the staff whole-heartedly. The size of the Little Bear's is comfortable and I admire the range of activities they undertake with the children. I would recommend Little Bear's to everyone.
My daughter has been at Little Bear's for four months. She has settled extremely well and is very happy there.
I am more than happy with Little Bear's, the girls there are all lovely and I feel totally comfortable leaving my daughter with them every day.
She is involved in lots of different activities day to day, both learning and fun. They also arrange for people to come into the nursery to provide a range of different activities/sessions for the children which is great!
This is a wonderful nursery. The staff are loving and engaging. The setting is great. My son loves going to Little Bear's. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
Our daughter is very happy at Little Bear's and excited to go in each morning. The staff are loving and kind and ensure that the children are cared for, have a variety of activities and plenty of stimulation. Staff are always willing to give feedback and discuss any concerns (not that we have any!) and seem to genuinely love and care for the children.
It was imperative that I felt as comfortable within the nursery with the staff as I expected the same people to care for my child. They did not disappoint. Welcomed us and have been essentially like family. I feel comfortable to talk/discuss any matters and I have felt valued at all times. My child enjoys the time spent there and for me that says it all. When you see your child being cared for and loved, it’s so comforting to be able to walk away knowing that the right choice has been made. I have seen my child grow in so many ways and I know a lot of it is to do with the time spent with the staff as well as other children. I hope they continue to flourish as it is a wonderful place with some of the hardest working staff that are passionate and loving. Keep up the fantastic work you all do as a team.
The nursery is very well run with competent and friendly staff. The facilities are second to none and great interest is taken into each child’s progress in respect of various development goals. Highly recommended.
My oldest and my littlest one absolutely love it! The manager and staff are always working with the parents - so its great!
Both my daughters loved going to this nursery. Staff are amazing and make little ones feel happy, safe and develop them at their best.

Meet the Team (2)
I have worked in childcare (Nursery settings) for 15 years and I have been in Nursery Management for the past 10 years. I am also a mum to a 7-year-old girl.
My aim is to always achieve the best for the children in my care through a team of well-supported practitioners and to provide an environment where parents and families feel welcomed and valued.
I have more than 12 years of experience in child care and a Level 4 in Childcare and Education. I have worked in many different areas of education as a school teacher, summer camps, afterschool clubs, and special needs education, but early years are my passion.
The joy of witnessing their growth and development first-hand is amazing. Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment helps children build confidence, resilience, and a love for learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.
As a deputy nursery manager, I get to support and mentor educators and parents, helping them to develop their skills and deliver the best possible care and education. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the positive impact we can make as a team.
