Our two year old son has been attending Little Bear's for nearly a year and we couldn't speak highly enough of the staff who are so kind and caring and work so hard to create a positive and nurturing environment for the children. As a parent you regularly witness how genuinely invested in all the children's progress they are and how much celebration and excitement there is when they achieve significant milestones. They have supported our son brilliantly with his very fussy eating, going the extra mile to gently encourage him, for example taking the time to break up meatballs he wouldn't try so it would become 'bolognese' (something he will recognise and eat). The team are currently supporting him with potty training and sent him home with a lovely 'star of the day' certificate at the end of the week - one very proud and happy boy in his big boy pants! He has even started singing the nursery 'tidy up time' song at home and voluntarily tidying up his toys - result!

This nursery is outstanding! The staff that work alongside my child have been amazing and so caring. My son has a lovely band with his key worker. They always listen to parents and we love a friendly chat. The office staff are brilliant and always there to lend a helping hand and advice. Parents are always kept up to date with information and they were very caring when the pandemic hit. Since my son started in 2020 I have not 1 fault with Little Bear's. If you're looking for a safe, friendly, exciting atmosphere for your child to thrive before school. Little Bear's is the place to go.

My daughter who has only 20 safe foods was rejected at most of the other nurseries in Wanstead. The manager was really upset and her and her team accommodated my daughter and made her feel safe and comfortable. They’ve all been accommodating in there, I can’t praise them enough for they way they are so caring towards the children. I have never left my daughter with anyone, they made sure that all the provisions that are needed were meet to accommodate my daughter. There isn’t many places, unfortunately, that have such caring staff. I can’t recommend them enough.

Just perfect! I wanted my little one to start mixing properly after lockdown. After a number of visits to other locations, I was elated to find Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village and the staff who work there. The manager showed me around at my visit and I was "sold" from the get-go. She was the perfect host for simply this amazing place - light, airy, big open spaces, big windows, large outdoor play area and wonderful smiley, friendly, warm, chatty, approachable staff. As the manager mentioned on the day - you just get a feeling when you've found the place for your child - and I did. My little one held her hand as we walked around the facilities (a spacious converted house in a quiet cul-de-sac) and then sought to join in with the existing pupils (who are all a lovely diverse, warm and welcoming bunch). Hoorah all around. Thank you Little Bears!

Little Bear's Wanstead Village is a very special place. My son attended here from when he was just one and I immediately knew this place was going to be amazing for our Son. All the staff are super friendly knowledgeable and makes every child feel very special. We are having to leave due to a move out of London and I wish we could take Little Bear's with us. My son has grown up to be super happy, confident and lots of fun. His development is coming on leaps and bounds and Little Bears has played a big part in this. I cannot recommend them enough and we are going to miss them all very much. Thank you again Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village.

We couldn't be happier with Little Bear's Nursery in Wanstead Village. The nursery is professionally run and well organised and promotes child-led play and learning through its kind, personal and thoughtful approach. There's great attention to detail, from its home-cooked meals to the extracurricular activities like football coaching that it offers. The staff are a real credit to the nursery and make it such a special place for little ones to start to be more independent. Highly recommend.

My son loves Little Bear's on Seagry Road, the staff are wonderful and during an unsettling year have continued with a calm attitude and incredible focus. I would highly recommend Little Bears, the quality of the staff is excellent and my son has learned so much in his time there.

My child has recently started at this nursery and I can honestly say they have been amazing from the first contact. They have been so accomodating and helpful and each and every staff member that I have met, has been lovely. It's a beautiful setting with a large outdoor area. My child can take a while to get used to a new environment and they have done everything to help her settle and enjoy nursery days.

Our boy has been at Little Bear's for just under a year and he absolutely loves it. The atmosphere at the nursery is always full of fun and the carers clearly put a lot of effort into ensuring the children enjoy themselves and do lots of different activities.

We really had no point of reference when choosing this nursery, we'd visited a number of the nurseries in our area but we really had a great gut feeling about this nursery, as well as it's sister nursery. Our son is now two and a half years old having started at the nursery when he was nine months old and he absolutely adores being there. We liked the fact that meals were cooked onsite meaning that they were fresh. The menu is on a few weeks rotation so they have different things each week, with occasional treats but all generally healthy dishes and snacks. The staff are fantastic, from nursery managers to all the carers, everyone seems to really care about the children and their role and are all very approachable. We really appreciate the app where all of our sons daily activities, meals and naps are recorded. We're kept up to date with monthly newsletters on what's coming up at the nursery which is also very helpful.

Our eldest child is in the two to three year old room and we have just recently registered our younger child to begin with the nursery later this year. The nursery is thoroughly excellent and you are made to feel that your child is important to them, even though they handle many other children. Our eldest begun with them as a one year old in the baby room, moved through the one to two years old room and is now in her third room with other two to three year old children. The management team is highly responsive, helpful and proactive in sorting out with whatever issues that arise. The carers are warm with children and will work with you if there's anything that needs sorting, such as feeding and potty training or such. Our child had been out of nursery for three to four months. During the first lockdown and upon return she was very reluctant to let go of us or to socialise with her peers, but after one to two months she has adapted with help of her carers and happily goes to the nursery each morning. Would highly recommend.

My son has been going to Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village since June last year and is currently in the Yogi Bear room for one to two year old's. We could not be happier with our choice. Our son loves going to the nursery and I have been hugely impressed with the whole Little Bear's Nursery in Wanstead Village team. Every single staff member is familiar with all of the children and I have been delighted with the variety of activities that they undertake each week. There is a fabulous app that keeps you updated on activities throughout the day and the team are always very open with feedback on how my son's day has been. As with all new parents, we were hesitant of how he would respond to going to nursery five days a week but the transition was absolutely seamless and I am convinced this is largely due to the excellence of the Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village. I could not recommend them highly enough!

It's a lovely place, my three year old has been attending since she was eighteen months and she settled very quickly. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and the staff is very engaged. They give you notice for all activities which is great and they make time for all children's cultural specific events which is appreciated. Communication with management is very good. I would highly recommend.

Our daughter has been going to Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village since she was seven months, she is now three! An outstanding nursery with nice big rooms and a lovely garden. Exceptional staff and carers that show true dedication to their work. Little Bear's Nursery in Wanstead Village feels like more than a nursery and childcare setting to me, staff and carers have helped me make important decisions for my daughter's development and had been guiding me through key milestones of her development. I highly recommend this nursery.I visited all the nurseries in Wanstead before making a choice and Little Bear's Nursery in Wanstead Village really stood out for me ever since.

We have two children who go full time at Little Bear’s Nursery In Wanstead Village. My eldest is now in preschool and started when she was ten months old, my youngest started six weeks ago at nine months. It’s a really fantastic nursery. All of the staff are warm, supportive, loving, nurturing and it has a real family feel to it. Children are so evidently happy and well socialised. In preschool, the day is structured to prepare the children for starting school with fun activities and play, alongside structured ‘circle’ time. My daughter has grown in confidence in phonics, numbers, word recognition and has so much fun every day. My youngest is in the newly renovated baby room which she loves. She is a lockdown baby and has been very cautious with strangers. The lovely managers and wonderful staff in the baby room have been miracle workers and she is honestly like a different child in just a few weeks. She now sleeps well, eats well and socialises with everyone. I would definitely recommend Little Bear's Nursery In Wanstead Village!

My son has attended on a full-time basis since 7-months-old. My review reflects on 18-months of attendance and 3 of the nursery’s 4 rooms. I also write as a research psychologist with expertise in child development and mental health. My comments are as a parent, but these views are obviously informed by my professional experience.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Little Bear's. The staff have always been warm and supportive. Most importantly, they love and care for our son in a way that has far exceeded our expectations.
On a practical level the nursery:
1) Go out of their way to organise activities to engage and connect parents.
2) Have robust safeguarding policies and processes.
3) Provide a varied and nutritional diet, balanced against the occasional treat.
4) Promote and celebrate diversity.

I always thought that our move to Wanstead would be temporary, however, we changed our plans and bought here, so our son can continue to attend Little Bear's.

Our daughter started at Little Bears Wanstead Village just before her 1st birthday. Putting her into nursery 4 days a week was daunting for us but all the staff in the baby room were so caring and understanding, and were perfectly happy with me phoning up to check on her for the first couple of weeks. Since then she has moved up to the toddler room, and the Parent zone app has been introduced so we can easily log in to see how she's doing throughout out the day which is brilliant and really puts our minds at ease. The staff are so kind and you can tell they have genuine care for your child and seeing them grow. Our daughter loves going to this nursery, the activities, the homemade healthy menu and interacting with the care workers and children. I cannot fault the nursery in any way and am so glad we chose Little Bears. I would 100% recommend this nursery. A nurturing, caring and friendly environment where your child's development blossoms.

We have two children at Little Bears, one at the nursery and one that uses the breakfast and after-school club. Both kids love being there and are very attached to the carers. The drop-off and pick up times (7:30-18:30) are also very convenient for working parents. Would highly recommend.
