Little Bear's Nursery is a fantastic nursery for my little one. She is currently adapting to her new setting; this being made easier, due to the supportive, caring and professional staff and key workers. Keep up the great work!
Would recommend this nursery to the world!
My daughter has been at Little Bear's since she was one years old, she is now four years old. When I drop off my daughter in the morning there is no doubt in my mind that she will be treated well. The staff are great!
Extremely happy with all the staff at the Nursery. My daughter has a very rare health condition. As such it meant that I had to ask the Nursery to make certain allowances for her and be considerate of her needs. They went over and above what was asked and expected of them. They treated my daughter with great care and compassion. Management were fabulous. The rest of the Nursery staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I haven't got a bad word to say about any one. Little Bear's gave my daughter a chance where other Nurseries within the same area were reluctant to take her on. Would definitely recommend to other parents.
Three years ago we chose this nursery because of its bright, spacious rooms with a great large garden and friendly staff. It is a private nursery which helped a lot with our working hours, also it was open during holidays and they were very flexible with our requests. Walking distance from our home which was a bonus.
We made the right choice because our son is hard of hearing and we are deaf. The key-workers allocated in each room made the effort with our son from the age of 1 till 4, the communication and access was there. We had a communication book for the staff to write down information for each day he attended which was very useful for all of us and we felt comfortable with this arrangement.
It is our son's last day today- he has been very happy at Little Bear's for 3 years and he enjoyed being with his peers and staff 3/4 days a week and he will miss it there when he starts school.
Really happy with our choice of nursery. Our son has settled in so quickly and really enjoys his day.
What really made this nursery stand out from others we visited is the staff; they are always warm and welcoming and really do treat the children with kindness and respect. The manager is lovely and knows the children well. She's always been on hand to answer any questions we've had.
An excellent place for my one-year-old. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming and my son loves his care givers and is learning a lot at nursery. One of the main reasons I send my son there is because of how good the staff are with him.
In short, we would have no hesitation in recommending Little Bear's to any parent in the area looking for a nursery.
Our son comes home learning new words every day and is really gaining confidence which I feel is a credit to the nursery.
My son has been going to this nursery for just over a year now and he has settled in very quickly. The one he attends is the nursery based at Seagry Road. It's a lovely nursery, the facilities are lovely and the garden is fantastic, with lots for my son to do. The main aspect for me are the staff, all of whom are extremely friendly, calm, reliable and trustworthy. The carer to parent communications is also really good. I would not send my son elsewhere.

Meet the Team (2)
I have worked in childcare (Nursery settings) for 15 years and I have been in Nursery Management for the past 10 years. I am also a mum to a 7-year-old girl.
My aim is to always achieve the best for the children in my care through a team of well-supported practitioners and to provide an environment where parents and families feel welcomed and valued.
I have more than 12 years of experience in child care and a Level 4 in Childcare and Education. I have worked in many different areas of education as a school teacher, summer camps, afterschool clubs, and special needs education, but early years are my passion.
The joy of witnessing their growth and development first-hand is amazing. Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment helps children build confidence, resilience, and a love for learning that will stay with them throughout their lives.
As a deputy nursery manager, I get to support and mentor educators and parents, helping them to develop their skills and deliver the best possible care and education. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the positive impact we can make as a team.
