Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery & Preschool is near Crouch Hill overground station and just off the A1201.

They offer care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years and are open from 7.30am – 6.30pm.

The nursery features two large rooms, which gives the children many opportunities to explore. All the facilities are designed with every age group in mind. The well-qualified team of highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced staff work together to provide a well-balanced programme of fun activities and learning experiences, within a carefully planned curriculum with Bright Horizons' unique Ready for School programme.

Lovely nursery!
Each child is individually planned for to focus on their education and development by their very own key person. Staff work alongside parents to ensure that every child's individual needs are met at all times.
My son adores his new room and is super happy when I pick him up. My son
is an extremely fussy eater and the chef is very nice to work around things which he likes eating.

Our daughter has been with the nursery since she was 8 months old and we couldn’t be happier with all the efforts made by the staff and management to help her settle in and progress from a very particular baby obviously upset to not be home with mommy anymore, to a happy and sociable toddler. Everyone
at the nursery has recognised her preferences and accommodated her needs, and as parents, we feel she is in a warm, family-like environment, where she is stimulated, where she sees and learns so much and yet feels like home. The staff and management team have been flexible, understanding and very caring along the way.

The team at Bright Horizons Crouch End made my daughter’s first four months at nursery as good as they could possibly have been. Despite not being that comfortable away from me before starting at 12m old, she settled in well and after 5-6 weeks no longer cried at drop-off and pick-up. Nowadays, she
naps well and eats well, indicating how happy she is to be there. I’m continually impressed by the breadth of activities the children do. It seems so varied. All elements of their development are catered for - fine and gross motor skills, communication, emotional needs, creativity etc. In four months our toddler has learnt a lot too, demonstrating the care and consideration that the team shows to the children, and the overall learning environment.

We are very happy with the care and education that is being delivered at the nursery. Our child is well known by all of the staff and is comfortable with them all. We are pleased with the rate of development and feel that attending this nursery has given us a good start that will hopefully stand us
in good stead when we transition to full-time schooling.

My son started in January 2019 at Crouch End. I have the best feeling as a new mum to be able to leave my little boy within the loving caring environment of Crouch End. My son has been in this nursery for 15 months, he is in Preschool for the last 4 months, I can strongly say that he absolutely loves it and my husband and I do too!


The staff is great and caring and the nursery has a safe environment. Our son is happy and his social skills and confidence have improved

a lot. They do lots of fun stimulating activities such as cooking, sports, art crafts, French and the academic standards are excellent, our son comes home every day with new words, being able to recognise and to write and read more numbers and letters every day always finding it fun to so do.


Such a fantastic nursery, totally recommend it.

My son left preschool this July and I was delighted with his whole experience. The staff were fantastic and really helped to prepare him for school. They really personalised the care they gave him and helped bring him out of his shell. Staff were professional, kind and really know the kids. I'm incredibly
thankful to all the staff who were involved in his care.
Preschool is a real gem in the crown of the nursery and management are great too.

We really rate Bright Horizons Crouch End! Our son spent just over two years in their care as a full time ‘pupil’ and he has visibly and thoroughly enjoyed his time there and developed into a confident, chatty, friendly little boy in the care of the Bright Horizons staff. This can only be testament
to their gentle care, focused on positive values, such as patience, kindness and thoughtfulness. The nursery has well thought through educational programs and the staff are very creative and dedicated in coming up with new challenges for the children. We felt that Bright Horizons offers them a strong foundation of knowledge and curiosity.

Our daughter went to Bright Horizons Crouch End from the age of 13 months until 3 years. She was extremely happy at the nursery from the very beginning. The staff are kind and attentive, and she formed a very strong bond with many of them. She still speaks of them now.


The facilities are first

rate, in particular, the garden. There are ample toys and activities to keep the children entertained. The days seem well planned, the kids learn lots and have lots of fun. The food is generally very good, although probably could cut back on the biscuits and desserts.


We were very sad to take our daughter out of the nursery, only doing so as we were moving house. We will struggle to find somewhere as good again. Highly recommended.

Our son has attended the nursery then the pre-school since he was 14 months old. The care he has received in all of the classes has been excellent. All of the staff really care for the children and form a close bond. I would thoroughly recommend them.

My son has been attending this nursery part-time for almost two years and during this time, I've watched him grow from a timid, shy and clingy little boy to a confident, playful and chatty child. He has felt cared-for and secure at this nursery and talks about his day positively when he's collected.
The staff are friendly and genuinely kind and the range of activities on offer have ensured that my son enjoys coming to nursery - secure in the knowledge that he will have a fun day.

My little boy has been at this nursery since I returned back to work when he was 11 months old, 4 years ago. I have always found the nursery to be a safe, happy and stimulating environment with the nursery carers having a strong sense of pride in their work, always striving for the highest standards.
Each room has fantastic array of toys and there is a beautiful large garden. During the past years, my son has had regular opportunities to cook, play football and tennis and participate in fun Spanish and French classes. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Bright Horizons - he has fun every day with loving carers who are also really focused on developing the children educationally as well as their emotional and social confidence. This has been great preparation for school. I cannot thank the teachers and staff enough for all that they have done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. As much as I am excited for him to start school I will be very sad for him to leave!

My daughter started in Toddler 2 when she was 3 and subsequently pre-school at 3 and a half. The manager and staff are absolutely divine and always super helpful. My daughter adores her key-worker in preschool class, it's just simply wonderful to see her becoming such a confident and well-behaved little
lady.
The educational/developmental content taught at preschool class is excellent as well. Overall I am very happy with our experience with the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.

I cannot praise this nursery and it's staff enough. It's quite daunting placing your children in the care of strangers, but everyone at Crouch End Nursery has become like family. My children have created wonderful memories and life long friendships there and I couldn't be happier for having chosen this

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons from being seven months old and she is now three. The nursery and the staff have played a key part in her development and have helped to raise a confident and outgoing little girl.


The nursery is at the top end price wise but you can understand why. The

staff and the facilities justify the price and the outside space is far superior to any of the other nurseries in the area.


It isn't just the facilities, the staff make the nursery what it is.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Maria's journey in childcare began over 25 years ago, and for the past 15 years, she has been part of Bright Horizons, gradually growing into a leadership role.


Since the doors of Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool first opened more than a decade ago, it has been a place where she has dedicated herself to creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment for children.


She is deeply passionate about her work and believes that every child should feel heard, valued, and supported. Alongside her team and through meaningful experiences, she strives to help children grow into confident and curious individuals.


Outside of work, she is a proud mother to two young boys, and most of her time is spent making memories with them. When she finds a moment for herself, she recharges through music and dance or by planning the next family adventure.

Amelia

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Amelia is the Deputy Manager at Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool. She began her journey in childcare in 2016 and joined Bright Horizons in 2019 as a member of the bank staff. Since then, Amelia has had the pleasure of growing within the company and embracing each role along the way.


She is truly passionate about early childhood education and feels privileged to be part of each child’s learning journey. During her time at the setting, Amelia has also earned her Level 3 SENDCo qualification, which has strengthened her ability to support all children’s development. Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and inspiring environment is at the heart of everything she does.
