Bright Horizons Crouch End Day Nursery and Preschool

Our daughter has been with the nursery since she was 8 months old and we couldn’t be happier with all the efforts made by the staff and management to help her settle in and progress from a very particular baby obviously upset to not be home with mommy anymore, to a happy and sociable toddler. Everyone at the nursery has recognised her preferences and accommodated her needs, and as parents, we feel she is in a warm, family-like environment, where she is stimulated, where she sees and learns so much and yet feels like home. The staff and management team have been flexible, understanding and very caring along the way.

The team at Bright Horizons Crouch End made my daughter’s first four months at nursery as good as they could possibly have been. Despite not being that comfortable away from me before starting at 12m old, she settled in well and after 5-6 weeks no longer cried at drop-off and pick-up. Nowadays, she naps well and eats well, indicating how happy she is to be there. I’m continually impressed by the breadth of activities the children do. It seems so varied. All elements of their development are catered for - fine and gross motor skills, communication, emotional needs, creativity etc. In four months our toddler has learnt a lot too, demonstrating the care and consideration that the team shows to the children, and the overall learning environment.

We are very happy with the care and education that is being delivered at the nursery. Our child is well known by all of the staff and is comfortable with them all. We are pleased with the rate of development and feel that attending this nursery has given us a good start that will hopefully stand us in good stead when we transition to full-time schooling.

My son started in January 2019 at Crouch End. I have the best feeling as a new mum to be able to leave my little boy within the loving caring environment of Crouch End. They make us feel that we are part of a big family. My little boy will have the opportunities to grow and learn with an excellent team.

My son has been in this nursery for 15 months, he is in Preschool for the last 4 months, I can strongly say that he absolutely loves it and my husband and I do too!

The staff is great and caring and the nursery has a safe environment. Our son is happy and his social skills and confidence have improved a lot. They do lots of fun stimulating activities such as cooking, sports, art crafts, French and the academic standards are excellent, our son comes home every day with new words, being able to recognise and to write and read more numbers and letters every day always finding it fun to so do.

Such a fantastic nursery, totally recommend it.

Preschool is a real gem in the crown of the nursery and management are great too.

My daughter was here for two years and was very happy. (We only left because we moved out of the area.) The manager is excellent and the staff are caring and supportive.

Staff are very friendly and helpful my son is really enjoying nursery. My son very much enjoys the food and activities provided. The manager is lovely.

Our daughter went to Bright Horizons Crouch End from the age of 13 months until 3 years. She was extremely happy at the nursery from the very beginning. The staff are kind and attentive, and she formed a very strong bond with many of them. She still speaks of them now.

The facilities are first rate, in particular, the garden. There are ample toys and activities to keep the children entertained. The days seem well planned, the kids learn lots and have lots of fun. The food is generally very good, although probably could cut back on the biscuits and desserts.

We were very sad to take our daughter out of the nursery, only doing so as we were moving house. We will struggle to find somewhere as good again. Highly recommended.

Our son has attended the nursery then the pre-school since he was 14 months old. The care he has received in all of the classes has been excellent. All of the staff really care for the children and form a close bond. I would thoroughly recommend them.

My son has been attending this nursery part-time for almost two years and during this time, I've watched him grow from a timid, shy and clingy little boy to a confident, playful and chatty child. He has felt cared-for and secure at this nursery and talks about his day positively when he's collected. The staff are friendly and genuinely kind and the range of activities on offer have ensured that my son enjoys coming to nursery - secure in the knowledge that he will have a fun day.

Our son has had a wonderful time at Bright Horizons Crouch End, where he has built solid, lasting friendships, developed in confidence and maturity, learned a huge amount about the world and, most importantly, had loads of fun doing it. We are extremely grateful to the staff for their attentive attitude and for building such a loving relationship with our child, and for making his time at nursery such a joy. Thank you!

Excellent, safe and friendly. Both of my children really look forward to going each week. Staff are kind, friendly and have struck up warm relationships with our kids.

My little boy has been at this nursery since I returned back to work when he was 11 months old, 4 years ago. I have always found the nursery to be a safe, happy and stimulating environment with the nursery carers having a strong sense of pride in their work, always striving for the highest standards. Each room has fantastic array of toys and there is a beautiful large garden. During the past years, my son has had regular opportunities to cook, play football and tennis and participate in fun Spanish and French classes. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Bright Horizons - he has fun every day with loving carers who are also really focused on developing the children educationally as well as their emotional and social confidence. This has been great preparation for school. I cannot thank the teachers and staff enough for all that they have done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. As much as I am excited for him to start school I will be very sad for him to leave!

The educational/developmental content taught at preschool class is excellent as well. Overall I am very happy with our experience with the nursery and would highly recommend it to other parents.

I cannot praise this nursery and it's staff enough. It's quite daunting placing your children in the care of strangers, but everyone at Crouch End Nursery has become like family. My children have created wonderful memories and life long friendships there and I couldn't be happier for having chosen this nursery to care for my babies. Thank you for everything!

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons from being seven months old and she is now three. The nursery and the staff have played a key part in her development and have helped to raise a confident and outgoing little girl.

The nursery is at the top end price wise but you can understand why. The staff and the facilities justify the price and the outside space is far superior to any of the other nurseries in the area.

It isn't just the facilities, the staff make the nursery what it is.
