Job Title: Head Teacher
I have been working as a Head Teacher for the past 4 years at Dulwich Oaks Montessori and previously at our sister-nursery; Dulwich Montessori.
I hold a Montessori Diploma and a BA Hons in Early Years and I am bi-lingual; Italian and English.
I take my responsibilities very seriously and I have a passion for my job. I am constantly trying to improve my professional development and I organise training for all the staff and myself. I am a strong leader and my vision is to create a safe, stimulating and caring environment where the children and staff are happy and achieve their full potential.
My interests outside the nursery are:
History, languages, cooking, reading, travelling and spending time with my family.
Job Title: Deputy Head
I have worked at Dulwich Oaks as the Deputy Head Teacher, for the last 4 years, since the Montessori opened in September 2012. Previously I worked at our sister school - Dulwich Montessori, on College Road. I hold the Montessori Diploma Level 4 and the Children's Care, Learning and Development Level 3.
I love my work at the Montessori - every day is different and every day is busy! Working with the children is the best part of my job and as a teacher, I am privileged to watch our students as they flourish and grow in confidence and self-belief.
When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, art classes and, most of all, I love spending time with my daughters.
Job Title: Assistant Deputy
I am qualified with the Montessori Diploma Level 4 and I am currently studying for the Level 5 Foundation Degree in Montessori Early Childhood...
I started my teaching career because it is such a joy to watch the children grow and develop at their own pace, while exploring their immediate environment.
I have been working with children for a number of years now, and it is always a privilege to see them grow and flourish from the time they start at the setting, to when they then move on to reception class. Having seen them learn, grow and flourish as time goes by, brings such a joy to my heart.
I also enjoy every aspect of teaching, and I love to engage and do all types of activities with the children, while at the same time, I also enjoy learning from them too.
Job Title: Montessori Teacher
I am originally from the beautiful Caribbean island of Grenada and I have been a Montessori Teacher for over ten years. I absolutely love my job as I get to help the children to learn at their own pace, according to their individual needs. It is always a proud moment for me to see the children go off to 'big school', knowing that I had a part to play in their developmental growth.
I am a Media, Literature and Communications graduate with a Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy.
When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, writing short stories and volunteer mentoring.
