Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in the beautifully refurbished 'Dragon Hall', conveniently located near the bus and train stations in Harrogate town centre. Little Dragons feature bright and airy playrooms and fabulous outdoor areas for different age groups.

The setting's Baby Room leads out onto its own secluded baby garden where children can explore safely with sand, water and sensory play. To the front of the setting is a fabulous outdoor area for toddlers and pre-school children, featuring natural areas, a slide, rope rings, a spinning see-saw and planting patches.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the early years foundation stage including literacy and communication, physical development and expressive arts and design.

Little Dragon's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Little Dragons prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery’s menu is prepared with quality ingredients and can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery’s fees, as well as nappies, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare places are available for eligible families.

My child has been attending Little Dragons Day Nursery since he was nine-months-old. He has gained great relationships and friendships with all the amazing staff and with the other children.
He absolutely loves going to nursery and is growing up to be a very happy, sociable child, which is partly
due to the amazing care he gets at Little Dragons Day Nursery.

I have had children at the nursery for seven years so far and have always felt comfortable and well informed. Detailed updates are given daily by key workers, and my son always seems happy to be there.
The recent new menu has gone down a treat with him too, and he insists on staying for his tea! There
is a good, healthy variety.
Staff turnaround and rotation is always well managed and communicated out, and there are lots of familiar, friendly faces through the different age groups. The manager shows a great deal of care and passion for her role and knows all the children well.

My daughter has been at Little Dragons since she was ten-months-old, she is now in toddlers and she loves it. She has formed relationships with staff and has lovely little friends, who she looks forward to seeing.
She is developing so well, and I feel so reassured leaving her at nursery - she is always
so happy when I pick her up, and it’s a joy for me. I’m hoping she will continue at Little Dragons until she is ready for school.

Child enjoys coming to nursery and talks about friends and staff in a positive way. Lots of information available from staff about child and activities.
Would be good to get outside sorted as toys/equipment look tired and dirty.

It's been working well for my child.
He has grown and met his development stages upon starting nursery.
Social interaction, learning, engagement, all growing at a fast pace.
Now he is learning to talk, ABC and 123 and repeats on a daily basis.
Walking 8 to 10 steps.
Without the support and nursery
attendance, this would have been impossible.
Thanks for the pleasant positive atmosphere and consistency in care no matter how challenging it can be.
My child is always happy in nursery and looks forward to attending.
Staff are all friendly and hardworking.

Little Dragons is an outstanding nursery. As a baby, my son was very attached, highly sensitive, emotional and struggled to cope in new situations, so the prospect of starting him in nursery was a daunting one. However, the staff at Little Dragons were extremely supportive and made the transition much
easier. The care they provide is superb and you can see how much the children enjoy being with the staff and form close bonds. They come up with fun, engaging activities and the nursery itself is light, bright and charming. I would recommend it to any parents in Harrogate without a second thought.

Little Dragons is a fun and safe environment with staff and management who are passionate about the children in their care. My little girl has been attending for 18 months and loves it. The food is all home cooked which is an added bonus. I receive regular progress reports.

We are really happy with Little Dragons. My daughter loves it here. The staff are excellent and very friendly. My daughter is given extra care when it is needed e.g she once got a nappy rash and needed more changing and cream. Nothing is too much trouble. We love you all and wouldn't choose anywhere
else.

My son has been in the baby room for a few months now, he has settled in really well. The nursery have helped him learn to walk and feed himself, he loves all the toys and doesn't always want to come home. I cannot fault the staff, they are always smiling, warm and friendly. I really like the welcoming,
happy ambiance of Little Dragons and I am happy to entrust the care of my son to them.

We have had a good experience from the nursery and staff through the two and a half years our daughter has been at the nursery. The staff welcomed our daughter into the nursery and she talks about the staff members all the time.

We are completely happy with Little Dragons Day Nursery we have no worries about the care and learning development of our little girl whist she is there. She enjoys being at nursery very much and settled in well (after the first month). The staff work as a team and the management are good - making sure
they talk to you as well as the key person. Oh and the food is lovely and tasty and all homemade. Management team ask for feedback and make changes based on feedback which is reassuring to know parents views are listened to.
