Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-school

My daughter has been going to Little Dragons Day Nursery for nearly two years and she enjoys every single day there. The staff are all very friendly and great at letting us know how my daughters day has been and everything they have been up to. The children seem to get plenty of outdoor time when the weather permits as well as plenty of crafty activities and messy play indoors. The nursery is very flexible and easily changed the days my daughter attends for us when my wife changed her job. The only bit of constructive criticism we would give is that sometimes they seem to have a hot meal for evening meal and sometimes it is nibbles, like bread, meats, cheese and vegetable bits. So sometimes my Daughter can be more hungry when we get home but it could also just be because she chooses not to eat so much some days. Most of the time the food seems to be good and is always healthy which is great.

Little Dragons have looked after both my daughters from ten months old. They settled in great and I too was made very welcome. In the last few months, their care and attention the detail has been amazing. I feel my babies are safe and happy. Communication is of a top-level with both staff and management. I am a very happy parent. My first daughter is now four and the youngest is 18 months.

My daughter has been attending the nursery since she was nine months old. The staff have always been so cheerful, welcoming, friendly and made me feel at ease leaving her there for three days a week. I'm happy with my daughters' achievements, she is excited to go to nursery and see her friends. Her confidence has grown. Nursery meals are varied, nutritious and are being emailed to me. No doubt that this is a very good nursery with professional staff. I would strongly recommend it.

I love the Little Dragons Nursery, my daughter has been going there for 2 1/2 years now and she always comes home in such a good mood. The staff are friendly, kind and are great at describing her interests and what she has been getting up to. The nursery and staff have been very flexible for us and have been able to accommodate extra days when we’ve needed them.

My son goes to Little Dragons and with him being my first I was apprehensive as to where he would go and if people could look after him as well and as caring as I do and Little Dragons have definitely exceeded at this. He has allergies and they cater for his needs. He has fantastic meals (even I'm jealous of) and has so much fun and activities to carry out through the day. All the staff are welcoming, caring and really nice and really take that extra time to speak to the children and parents and this makes me feel so comfortable. I honestly couldn't ask for a better childcare setting for my son to go to as he is happy, loved and has learnt so much already. Luckily we have a few more years there but it will be sad to say goodbye when he reaches school age.

I can't praise the nursery and all the amazing staff enough! My little girl has been with them for over a year and absolutely loves it! She is excelling in all areas and is such a happy child. The food is nutritional and good sized portions, the staff are always eager and on the ball. It's just an all-round amazing nursery and I couldn't recommend them enough.

Great place for my daughter, she loves it and my wife and I are assured she’s looked after well. The staff are always attentive to my daughter's needs and inform us of the things she does each day. All good.

I have used Little Dragons Day Nursery from when they very first opened with my daughter and now my son. I cannot express how much I love this place and how I feel like the staff are family. Most of the staff are still the same from the very first day my daughter went to now with my son 6 years later and that in itself is really reassuring. They go above and beyond not just for my son but me too. They genuinely care so much about each and every child. I looked around other nurseries for my son but once I looked around Little Dragons it had that warm feeling of comfort like home. I honestly couldn't ask for more loving, caring, genuine people to look after my children. Both my children have allergies and they have tailered to both of the needs above what was expected. They truly are amazing and I am so glad I found them.

This nursery is fantastic. The staff members are so friendly, helpful and caring. It is exactly the setting I want my child to be brought up in. From experience the staff members use structured educational play which is so great to see. During the height of the Covid-19 lockdown I couldn't have asked for more from this nursery. The key worker at the time for my child went above and beyond my expectations to make sure my child still felt safe and had some continuity. They kept all parents fully informed all the time of all changes. I cannot praise the way the nursery is run under the management and the deputy management. They certainly know their stuff and know how to run a happy educational learning safe place.

My daughter loves her time at nursery and staff have been very accommodating to her needs, taking into account a new sibling at home. We have noticed positive changes in her behaviour. We are very happy with our daughter’s development and love that there are opportunities to watch her play at stay and play sessions and learn more about her care at parents evenings.

He absolutely loves going to nursery and is growing up to be a very happy, sociable child, which is partly due to the amazing care he gets at Little Dragons Day Nursery.

Staff turnaround and rotation is always well managed and communicated out, and there are lots of familiar, friendly faces through the different age groups. The manager shows a great deal of care and passion for her role and knows all the children well.

She is developing so well, and I feel so reassured leaving her at nursery - she is always so happy when I pick her up, and it’s a joy for me. I’m hoping she will continue at Little Dragons until she is ready for school.

Would be good to get outside sorted as toys/equipment look tired and dirty.

Little Dragons is an outstanding nursery. As a baby, my son was very attached, highly sensitive, emotional and struggled to cope in new situations, so the prospect of starting him in nursery was a daunting one. However, the staff at Little Dragons were extremely supportive and made the transition much easier. The care they provide is superb and you can see how much the children enjoy being with the staff and form close bonds. They come up with fun, engaging activities and the nursery itself is light, bright and charming. I would recommend it to any parents in Harrogate without a second thought.

Little Dragons is a fun and safe environment with staff and management who are passionate about the children in their care. My little girl has been attending for 18 months and loves it. The food is all home cooked which is an added bonus. I receive regular progress reports.

We are really happy with Little Dragons. My daughter loves it here. The staff are excellent and very friendly. My daughter is given extra care when it is needed e.g she once got a nappy rash and needed more changing and cream. Nothing is too much trouble. We love you all and wouldn't choose anywhere else.

My son has been in the baby room for a few months now, he has settled in really well. The nursery have helped him learn to walk and feed himself, he loves all the toys and doesn't always want to come home. I cannot fault the staff, they are always smiling, warm and friendly. I really like the welcoming, happy ambiance of Little Dragons and I am happy to entrust the care of my son to them.

We have had a good experience from the nursery and staff through the two and a half years our daughter has been at the nursery. The staff welcomed our daughter into the nursery and she talks about the staff members all the time.
