Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-school in Harrogate provides exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

The nursery is set in the beautifully refurbished 'Dragon Hall', conveniently located near the bus and train stations in Harrogate town centre. Little Dragons feature bright and airy playrooms and fabulous outdoor areas for different age groups.

The setting's Baby Room leads out onto its own secluded baby garden where children can explore safely with sand, water and sensory play. To the front of the setting is a fabulous outdoor area for toddlers and pre-school children, featuring natural areas, a slide, rope rings, a spinning see-saw and planting patches.

Children at the nursery enjoy a wide range of inspirational learning activities covering all aspects of the early years foundation stage including literacy and communication, physical development and expressive arts and design.

Little Dragon's experienced team hold childcare qualifications, paediatric first aid certificates and safeguarding training. Every team member has an enhanced DBS check and the nursery has CCTV and secure door entry systems for added security.

The chef at Little Dragons prepares the nursery’s fresh and nutritionally balanced meals and snacks in the nursery kitchen, providing children with healthy and delicious homemade food every day. The nursery’s menu is prepared with quality ingredients and can be altered to meet any special dietary requirements.

Meals and snacks are included in the nursery’s fees, as well as nappies, wipes and sun cream. 15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare places are available for eligible families.

My daughter loves Partou Little Dragons Day Nursery and Pre-school. She cried on day 1 drop off but has never cried on subsequent drop offs. She is happy every day when my wife or I go and pick her up, that is the most important thing to us. The nursery have given us some good advice on any issues she
has had. She hasn't had many issues at all though as of yet touch wood! I would recommend Little Dragons highly. She is developing really well thanks to the nursery and always seems to love spending time there.

The Little Dragons team have been fantastically supportive of our family. The team is very longstanding and seem happy, which creates a nice atmosphere and good relationships.
Our two children have loved their time at nursery and gained confidence and skills to start school.
During bumpy times, the
nursery managers and key workers have been absolute rocks, providing advice and support, and being very positive.

We've had two children attend from babies. Both have had the most amazing experiences, tailored to their personalities and interests - from drumming/ paint sensory play to phonics fun!
The Nursery Manager and the team work tirelessly to provide a caring safe environment where the kids can have fun,
explore and learn. Outdoor time is high on their agenda, as is singing and dancing!
They have been so accommodating with odd work patterns and always available for a chat on the phone.
We couldn't ask for better, we'll genuinely miss them when we start school!

Highly recommended! Little Dragons Day Nursery & Pre-school has gone above and beyond to care for our two children and to support us as a family.
The friendly and consistent staff team offer children a warm and stimulating environment. Take potty training troubles, behaviour challenges or whatever
a toddler can throw at you completely in their stride. Our children came home happy, tired and well fed. We really appreciate all the extra weeks and parent initiations, which give a great insight into life at the nursery.

We have been part of Little Dragons since 2019 and now have our second child there. We are consistently pleased with how caring and qualified all the staff are. Food is of a high standard and the facilities are clean and perfectly suited to each age group. The whole team work together so well ensuring
the best for children in their care. The range of activities is engaging and educational. Children are prepared and ready for school thanks to a fantastic pre-school team. Extra learning is offered from external providers for song and sign, wellbeing and yoga. We couldn’t be happier with the nursery and recommend it to anyone we know.

My 2 children attend Little Dragons Nursery. We’ve just come home from a gorgeous Mother's Day stay and play and afternoon tea. Little Dragons are forever doing parties and activities not only for the children but for parents to come along too! We’ve had a lovely time this afternoon with it not being

Little Dragons has by far exceeded all my nursery expectations - my two boys both absolutely love going there and I know how well they are looked after which gives me total peace of mind when they are there. They have a very low staff turnover which has been fantastic for my boys. All the staff know
all the children and are so friendly which gives the nursery a lovely homely feel. I would particularly praise the staff in the babies room who have been so kind to my son who suffers from allergies and severe eczema. They have spent lots of time soothing him and massaging cream into his sore skin a few times a day. 5 stars.

My son has been attending Little Dragons since he was 15 months old (he is now 4) and has spent time in each of the rooms. He really sees it as a home-from-home and is very comfortable in the environment and with all the staff. I have noticed that there seems to be a very low turnover in staff which
has helped him feel settled and secure in the setting as he is so familiar with all of the adults and those with him, so can tell immediately if he is not himself.
His continued development has been obvious to us and the staff are quick to point out and celebrate when he has achieved something new. I am always impressed at how dedicated the staff are, including organising and supervising special events such as Halloween and Christmas parties, and nothing is too much trouble. As he gets ready to start school in September, Little Dragons are helping to ensure that he has the practical and social skills that he will need to settle quickly during this transition, which is very reassuring.

The nursery has been so supportive and the staff are brilliant at their jobs. My son always comes home with a smile on his face and lots of stories to tell about his day. I've also seen lots of new toys and apparatus in the garden for the children which is always nice to see. My son has come a long

I am pleased with my daughter’s progress under Little Dragons Day Nursery. All their staff are well-trained and know how to look after my little girl. My little girl can now independently eat and go nap on her own. My daughter especially likes the singing and painting activities they give her. I like
it that my daughter knows every staff that looks after her. She bloomed so well under their care. I highly recommend them to those working parents.

Our daughter has been with Little Dragons since she was 11 months old. She started in Babies and the staff were great at reassuring me about what she was eating, sleeping, playing with etc. This was just what I needed. Now our daughter is in Toddlers and we have seen her go from strength to strength.
We are shortly enrolling our little boy in Babies based on our good experience. What clinches it for me is the staff. They don't come and go. They are here to stay and that continuity is so important. We trust them implicitly.

Our daughter has attended the nursery since September 2022 when we moved to the area. Having had our daughter in other nurseries prior to this elsewhere in the country, I can confirm that this one is of a very high standard and far better than most. The staff are kind, the atmosphere is always welcoming
and I know our daughter is always safe and well looked after there. The staff use a holistic approach in the care that they provide. Our youngest daughter will also attend when I go back to work after maternity leave, even though there is another nursery nearer to where we live. The manager and the team are more than happy to help in any way and are always in good spirits despite being so busy. Our daughter loves the food there and enjoys exploring all of the different food choices that are on the seasonal changing menu.

I was so nervous about settling my son into nursery as he had struggled a bit in noisy places and around other really young children. We also had a less-than-positive experience with a last-minute cancelled place at another nursery. I needn't have worried. He absolutely loves Little Dragons Day Nursery,
has come on leaps and bounds and has a wonderful bond with his key person especially. I am so grateful to all the staff for their support and care.

Our little boy started at Little Dragons when he was 7 months old, back in January. We could not be more thrilled with the experience we have had. From booking him in, settling in sessions to now three months in we have been provided with amazing care for our son. He’s currently in the baby room, and
all staff are so knowledgable and friendly, you can really tell they are passionate about children and their development. Our little boy has very rapidly learned new skills and is always amazing us with something new that only nursery could have taught him! The management is superb and nothing is too much trouble. We cannot recommend this nursery enough.

My son has been at Little Dragons in the baby room for almost a year and during this short time, he has truly thrived. He is always excited to attend which is heartwarming to see how happy this nursery makes him. He, unfortunately, suffers from a few allergies and all the staff have been very supportive,
accommodating and kind with their approach to this. They are incredibly welcoming to both parents and children and I appreciate what all the team have done to contribute to my son's development. We look forward to seeing how he continues to grow at the nursery.

Between them, my children have been attending Little Dragons for four years now, and with another one on the way, we’ll be customers for another four years or so! Absolutely no complaints.
