Kids Planet Knaresborough

We can't speak highly enough of Kids Planet in Knaresborough. Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery and we feel completely comfortable she is well cared for there. She really enjoys coming home and telling me all about the activities she has done.

The staff there take a really keen interest in the individual child and make a huge effort to promote these. The nursery holds special days such as spa days, road safety week and stay and plays. It's also great that they do nursery photos and a football club there too.

Our child has developed loads and learnt so much there. We have been really sad to leave when we moved away. We really recommend this nursery to any family.

Our two boys attend Kids Planet Knaresborough and absolutely love the wonderful staff, as do we. They are never without a smile on their face and the care they provide is exceptional. They really know and understand each child and cater to their personality and needs, making sure they feel happy at nursery each day and get enjoyment out of the fun and educational activities that they organise. Our boys seem to learn something new every day and their confidence has grown in leaps and bounds thanks to the amazing support of the staff. The on-site cooked food is a big hit with them too. The staff always have time to stop and talk to us, providing detailed feedback on the boy's day and creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Kids Planet!

Our daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. She had extreme separation anxiety when she first started in the baby room over a year ago but two ladies in particular worked their magic and she is so happy there. Every member of staff that has worked with our daughter has provided outstanding care and I don't have a bad word to say about anyone in the baby/tots room. They are so caring, welcoming, and kind not only to our daughter but to us as parents too. I love that we get updates on the parents app and anything that hasn't been published is discussed at pick-up time so we are always well aware of how the day has been. We have recently had our second baby and without a doubt, she will be going to Kids Planet Knaresborough too. It is our first experience with a nursery but we couldn't fault them at all! I highly recommend it.

The nursery site is safe and clean. There are various activities for the children throughout the day both indoor and outdoor. Food is cooked on-site, which is great.

My son has been attending Kids Planet since early 2023, so he's experienced all the room settings and become really comfortable there. He's grown in confidence and his communication is getting better every day. The staff are wonderful, they know every child and really take care of them, encourage them to be kind and independent, and always plan interesting and creative things for the children to do. They have been brilliant and I can't praise them enough. My son loves going to nursery and I'm happy knowing he's safe and having a great time!

I also think the variety of food and activities is wonderful and has been great to introduce her to at an early age.

Really impressed with the nursery and all the rooms. The staff are all so lovely and attentive and have always helped the kids especially when transitioning to the next room. All staff are really informative when picking the kids up and inform you about their day, what they have eaten and if they've napped. My eldest has come on loads with his numbers and letters since being in pre-school and they are really keen on singing and nursery rhymes in all the rooms. My little one started in tots when she was 18 months old and has been well looked after and had lots of cuddles when she's been unsettled. Would definitely recommend this nursery and all the lovely staff are a credit to it!

Our two grandsons have been at Kids Planet since January 2023 and January 2024 respectively. Both have always been very happy there. Without exception, every staff member and manager I have met have been excellent. It is obvious the staff take a genuine interest in the children's emotional and educational needs and are so caring, loving, and full of fun! They are especially mindful of friendship groups and at the end of every day, there is always a chat about how the day has been. Meals are varied and enjoyed. On the day I have my eldest grandson, he chatters constantly about his key workers and what they have done and loves making things with me to show to them the next day! The app and social media content keep us informed of activities and visits to the nursery and we appreciate the learning reports. Our eldest goes to school this year and we feel that the Kids Planet preschool team will have made a huge difference in making sure that the transition will be a good one for him. Our child happily attends Kids Planet Knaresborough. The care provided is fantastic and staff go above and beyond to get to know the children and families. I can honestly say that all members of staff (even if they are not in my child's room) know my child well and are kind, welcoming, and caring to him during all interactions. The staff at the nursery have fostered a welcoming and caring environment and they are always thinking of ways to engage the children. The communication is good between parents and staff and we really like the opportunities given to come into the nursery and engage with his learning. We couldn't be more pleased with the nursery and plan to send our next child there.

The team at Kids Planet Knaresborough are fantastic. My little girl loves going and loves all the staff. I have to shout out one member who is incredible she is so much fun and is such a fantastic teacher, everyone loves her. Thank you for always letting my little sassy pants be herself and encouraging her to be kind and to lean new things. She loves you all.

Each child is treated as an individual and I really feel that the staff have gotten to know him as a person. The staff, even those not assigned to his group will greet him by name even in passing and those charged with his care provide detailed and insightful updates on his activities every day and his overall progress in key learning areas.

Very caring staff who show an interest in every child. Very happy with the care provided. Fruit box was a great addition and is appreciated by most of the kids. Thank you all for your hard work. Brilliant.

My daughter joined Kids Planet in July 2022 and she settled in immediately. I can't speak highly enough of the team at Kids Planet in Knaresborough. They are all kind, caring, friendly and professional. I know my daughter is safe and being cared for by a team of wonderful people. She is always doing lots of fun and educational activities and she loves telling her dad and I what she's been doing all day. She's made so many friends and is always excited to go to nursery, in fact, she asks to go on the days she's not there!

My daughter has always loved it. Thank you to all of you for making it so wonderful for her.

The nursery is amazing the staff are always smiling and there to talk to about any needs and they form a great bond with the children, my daughter is growing and learning so much thanks to Kids Planet and their staff. The food they provide is great with a lot of variety and they cater to allergies which is great and a child with an allergy has a red card so all staff can see that child has an allergy so that no mistakes can be made. My daughter even when poorly refuses to stay home, she has to go see everyone she loves it that much so thank you to everyone at Kids Planet for doing such an amazing job.

Overall pleased with her care and the staff are always bubbly and welcoming, making our daughter feel very comfortable in nursery.

Kids planet Knaresborough have been brilliant with our little boy. He has settled in so well over the last 10 weeks thanks to their support. They are professional and caring and recently acted fast in an emergency situation as they are clearly well-trained to manage such situations.

Lovely nursery; very good value for money in this area. Staff are caring, approachable and really good at organising different activities and learning opportunities with children. Management is transparent and very communicative/ responsive, always organising new initiatives and requesting feedback from parents.
