Clarence House Ely

If I can give one bit of advice, listen to your children, not the staff and trust your instincts. I really wish I had.

My son likes to go here. He often mentions their name at home. No issues with service. They communicated very well when anything has happed. I always get a brief of the day when I pick him up. I love the pictures I get a narrative of the day online.

My daughters have attended this nursery coming on two years now and I have been so pleased with the level of care they have received. All the staff here are so attentive and supportive of my girls and they always look forward to coming to nursery. There is a wide range of activities on hand throughout the week for them to take part in, and I receive regular updates both on a daily basis and via the app which is really really helpful. This is also by far the cleanest nursery I have visited. My girls have received a lot of support with potty training, regulating their sleeping patterns; there is a sense of cooperation. When you mention issues at home they do try to follow through home routines and so forth. Also the manager here is just amazing. She really cares about the wellbeing of the children and goes above and beyond. I would give the nursery a hundred stars if I could!

Our daughter started in November 2020 at ten months old. We were very nervous about sending her to childcare as she had serious separation anxiety, having being born at the start of the pandemic she had only been in regular contact with her parents. Right from our first visit to the nursery we knew we were making the right decision, the staff are incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable and reassuring and the young children's room was filled with interesting and engaging activities. The first few weeks she took some time to adjust but the daily reports on her progress, uploads to the app and feedback on her interactions with staff and other children reassured us that she was adjusting well and developing. Within a month our daughter was happily going over to the staff and reports on how great her day had been were being given each time we collected her. We have seen her speech, confidence, eating and independence improve so much. Its a fabulous, diverse environment where she is safe, nurtured and can develop.

Clarence House Ely is a lovely nursery, my little one has such a great time here. The staff were so great at settling her in and she has formed strong bonds with them. It is also lovely to get photos and videos of what she is doing during the day on the app.

The manager at this nursery is incredible. She really went above and beyond for me. She responds fast to emails, which is incredibly helpful. She and her team welcomed my son with big smiles and open arms and he settled straight away. He’s had an amazing time in this setting. I love that the classes are smaller than some bigger nurseries, I feel this helps from him being “lost in a sea of children”. I also like that the toilets are so accessible for them, this really helps to prevent any toilet accidents. All the staff are really lovely and friendly. My son is always so excited to go to nursery and see his little friends. We were in a different nursery pre covid and I definitely prefer Clarence House. I couldn’t fault them one bit. Thank you all.

Although a short time, my son was always smiling and saying he had a great time at the nursery. Very clean and well presented and the staff are really nice. Highly recommend with great affordable prices.

My twins have been attending Clarence House for over 2 years and absolutely love it. The staff are very friendly and have supported my children's development throughout.

I am so happy that my son was able to attend this nursery. All the staff do fantastic jobs and know my child really well. He feels confident in going to any of them and I love seeing the photos and videos of his day. They do a range of imaginative activities e.g. last week they pretended to be firemen and put out 'fire' which was shaving foam sprinkled with red glitter! All the staff clearly care about the children and I struggle to get my child to leave at the end of the day which is always an excellent sign.

My little boy loves coming to this nursery, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming to all the children and parents.

I have used Clarence House for several years now. It has always been amazing. My children have grown in confidence. The staff are really polite and helpful at all times. The nursery has been flexible for my needs. They offer excellent routine and structure. I will always recommend Clarence House to anyone looking for childcare. It has been the best nursery I have come across.

Wonderful nursery! My son went here and he absolutely loved it, he would come home with some lovely artwork for me and his daddy most weeks. When I used to drop him off, the staff would be so welcoming. My son would go straight to a staff member no problem. When I would collect him in the evenings he would always be so happy to see me, I knew then he had a good day. The staff would always do a lovely feedback to us about his day. My son had a great relationship with all the staff in particular with his key person and the manager, the staff are all very professional and lovely. I loved being able to see the observations and snapshots that they did on him through tapestry.

My four-year-old daughter absolutely loves Clarence House Nursery, to the point that she would happily go weekends too. From our very first visit, the team made my daughter and I feel so welcome. The nursery ladies have always been very caring and professional. My child loves going to nursery and I am happy that she is in good hands. I would recommend Clarence House to any parent.

My one-year-old daughter has been attending Clarence House Ely for almost a year now. She is a unique child with many genetic health conditions. The nursery staff are absolutely fantastic with her. They go above and beyond to make sure she is safe, and in good health. We have a plan that works for her, and the staff have always been happy to go that extra mile. Especially in the last two months, when we have been backwards and forwards to the hospital and they always put a plan in place to ensure she can continue to attend safely full time. My daughter loves going, always plenty to do and plenty of food to eat! The food is varied and offered regularly. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

This is a great place for a child to make friends and develop fully. I really like the staff and they are always helpful to me. My girl is very happy and asks me all the time when he can go back to Clarence House.
