Clarence House Ely

I will highly recommend this nursery to anybody with children.

The different range of meals they serve are amazing too, my daughter adores her lunches at nursery.

My daughter has been going to the nursery for over two years now and she made an instant bond with the staff. All the staff are very loving and my daughter absolutely loves them. You can see that they do care for the children and my daughter is always telling me nice stories about what she did at nursery. They have renovated the nursery recently which we were able to view during graduation and were impressed by all the facilities.

Our daughter has settled in incredibly well to the baby room at Clarence House Day Nursery, surpassing our expectations and we know this is because she feels loved and cared for there. The resources are excellent, it’s very well organised and we feel her learning targets are intuitive to her, her strengths and her personality. We get app notifications throughout the day so we always know what’s going on, which we love. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Clarence House for both of our children.

Our son absolutely loves his preschool and always comes home happy. We know he is cared for and supported. He loves to learn and his speech and understanding are going from strength to strength. They are flexible and extremely accommodating. I just know it’s going to be super emotional when he leaves to go to school next year!

The staff are also brilliant, they care for the children so well and have a great connection with them. They really work with them through their challenges and successes.

My son is always eager to get to nursery, he has such great bonds with all the staff, he has said numerous times he is just going to miss his pre-school. I couldn’t have wished for a better start in life for him, thank you to all the staff for making my boy smile every day he is there.

Our Toddler loves attending Clarence House and is always happy and excited to spend the day at nursery. The staff are friendly, caring and understanding of each child's needs. I feel that my Toddler is supported in learning, with their strengths recognised and embraced by the team to help them improve and explore interests. We are always impressed with the imaginative play and activities created for the children, and enjoy the photo updates via Tapestry. Clarence House have recently upgraded the outdoor play equipment and it's a big hit with the children. The team have also been supportive and patient with potty training, allowing us to have consistency across home and nursery. Thank you!

My son has been going to Clarence House Ely since April and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. My son was 10 months when he started and was quite shy, but the staff at Clarence House have really brought him out of his shell and he adores the baby room ladies. We are always met with smiling faces every morning and afternoon, the staff listens to any concerns I might have and tell me about my son's day. It feels like they really care about each individual child. A plus is receiving pictures of activities during the day. I feel like I can leave my son at Clarence House every morning knowing that he is receiving the best care and cuddles from the staff.

I couldn’t recommend Clarence House enough! Very friendly staff and our 2 children love it. They send my partner updates and pictures throughout the day which really eases her mind. It’s a wonderful place for children to learn and grow.

My son has been at this nursery since he was 10 months old. He's now two and a half and the nursery has been so great for him. They're so creative in the range of activities they do with the children, and they spend lots of time outside in a really great outdoor play area. My son loves the staff so much and has really lovely relationships with them. They really go above and beyond. I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

Absolutely love this preschool, and I wouldn’t change it for the world! My son loves going, and is always so happy when I pick him up! The staff are lovely, and they always update me on my son's day, what he’s eaten and the activities he’s taken part in! 10/10 for me and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Our child loved the nursery so much, always came back happy and smiling. The staff do look after the children very well. I wouldn't hesitate bringing my child here. They are a very good bunch who love what they are doing.

This is an excellent nursery. Lovely, approachable staff who are caring and fun. Variety of contract options at very reasonable rates, and the management offer a very helpful level of flexibility when needed. My daughter has an excellent time here every day and cannot wait to go back the next day. I know the location/building aesthetics might put some people off but if your priority is excellent childcare in a great nursery then this is the place for you. Loads of exciting and creative activities, and lots of outdoor time in the fantastic garden space. Small numbers in each room plus great staff to child ratios. Daily written updates plus regular pictures and videos on the app. An amazing menu, and very generous early drop off plus breakfast service too. You can tell this nursery isn't run as a money-making machine like some others, it's a real child-centred and caring organisation.

My son began on half a day during term time at the age of 1-year and 2-months. He is now in the preschool 20-hours a week. The reason I like this nursery is because they care about my son. The staff have always been able to comfort him. He can struggle with separation anxiety, and I feel confident leaving him knowing his needs will be met emotionally. He is also fed well and I am kept informed of his wellbeing. Children are also allowed to be children here and learn through messy play and spend time outdoors. He comes home chatty, articulate and polite, which is a good sign. He sings me songs he has learned there and recites the alphabet. It's not the biggest nursery, but I don't think this impacts the service delivery. The management is also flexible and supportive.

My son has been going to Clarence House for about 1-year now, and he loves it there! The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. My son’s confidence and social skills have developed so much, which I am very pleased about.

I can not thank the staff enough, they have been absolutely amazing with my daughter, and honestly, I am sad to be leaving. I would 100% have no hesitation to come back to Clarence House again. They have kept me informed, kept my child happy, and after a scary experience of taking my daughter for her first time at nursery, they were fab! Thanks again, and hopefully, we will see you again in the future.

This really is an excellent nursery who took care of our son before he went off to school and now our 2-year-old daughter. She loves it. The staff are wonderful and friendly and you can tell that they really care about looking after the children. It’s always great to hear from them at the end of the day what our little one has been getting up to. Our daughter has dietary requirements and the nursery has always been very careful to make sure these are followed. Overall, they’ve been great for both our children and would highly recommend them to anyone.
