My son is head over heels about the nursery. He only goes for 3hours per day for 3 days, but he is always looking forward to going there every Monday. The staff has a professionally welcoming attitude. Ever smiling. The manager is always happy to assist and will go beyond the duty call to assist a parent
in need.

My Daughter has been attending Clarence House Nursery for over 2 years now and has enjoyed her time at the nursery so much, she now attends after her reception class. The staff at Clarence House are wonderful, my daughter always comes home with lots to tell me about her time spent there. Would highly
recommend to anyone who asked for a local nursery.

My son has been attending for about one month now. The staff have been very welcoming and friendly. They support my son so well with his needs. He is already napping and eats all the food provided. The numbers of children in the rooms seem much lower and therefore the care more personalised than at
other nurseries that I have been on tours of. I am really impressed with the staff's relationship with my son already. The daily feedback is very detailed and the service is really flexible.

Both of my younger two children have attended Clarence House nursery and they have been brilliant with both of them. My middle child started school in Sept and it was sad for me that she wasn’t going to attend anymore. My youngest is still going though so it’s nice for my little girl to come and say
hello at pick up times and they are also invited to parties which is fantastic! They both have had a great relationship with all the girls that work here! I don’t think they have ever not liked any of the staff! It’s currently my youngest boy's last year of nursery. He absolutely loves it here and is always full of smiles when I pick him up. I have never experienced any problems since using the nursery in the last few years! I have recommended them to my friends with children too!

It's nice to know that my little boy is being looked after by a professional and caring staff.
He has been at Clarence House for 6 months and he seems very happy. It's great to get weekly updates via the nursery web portal, Tapestry. Those pics and videos are fantastic.
Very happy dad.

I’ll keep this brief but my daughter has attended Clarence House Barns since January 2015 and they have been consistently exceptional.

The support and care they offer in so many aspects of the service they provide is exemplary and has no doubt had a wonderful effect on my daughter’s development.

I couldn’t be more delighted with my choice and I’d happily recommend it to anyone.

I find the nursery a very well run and organised facility that encourages the children to explore and play at their own pace and level. The activities the nursery does outside of the establishment are organised with abilities and understanding of each child in mind. They are well thought out and enjoyable
to all. All the staff are caring and well trained. I haven't found one that daughter is not attached to. The manager keeps all parents up to date with newsletters weekly which we didn't have until she started.

My baby girl is always excited to come to the nursery and take an active part in all art craft activities.
She is also eating well at the nursery and we can see that she is building good relationships with her friends.
We also enjoy that she is going to the local parks for trips.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
My daughter picked up a lot of English and all staff are very polite and patient with our little one.
I adore that every time she is at the nursery, my daughter is involved in messy activities, goes outside and plays in the mud kitchen.
We also enjoy cooking club
and all the cookies our daughter is making.

Excellent nursery! Staff really go the extra mile for my baby daughter! Extremely flexible and caring. My baby has developed her social and cognitive skills greatly since she had been in the nursery and at a very affordable price! Cannot recommend it enough!

Clarence House Nursery is a very good nursery.
My little girl, she's always happy to go and to learn new things every day. All the staff are brilliant and they are working very hard to look after our children. All lovely ladies and they all deserve a big star. I'm well happy with the service provided

The staff are very caring and have the time for all the children. Since my daughter started at Clarence House Barns, Ely, she has become so confident and learnt many things that will prepare her for starting school and also become independent in herself.

I have found my sons experience of Clarence House very good. He always comes home very happy and worn out which is a good sign of attention and activities from the staff. His speech improved a lot since he started and when he is dropped off he is happy to be left.

The staff are always friendly and

informative about what he has been doing and saying, they seem to have a general interest in every child and this is more than just a job. I'm very happy for my soon to keep attending here.

We are really happy with all aspects of Clarence House, the staff are really friendly and cater to each individual child's needs well. Our daughter came to the nursery soon after moving from another area and despite this, she settled in very well. Her first sibling was also born soon after she started
at Clarence House and the staff were really helpful at helping her to adjust by playing role play with toy babies. The staff have always been very flexible with dietary requirements and there is a good alternative menu. The mud kitchen in the garden is great for the children's development. We also love being able to interact with the staff using photos, videos and comments on the online tapestry system. The list of positives could go on, but there is only limited space to write!

I went to visit the Nursery with my Daughter when my Grandaughter was about 6 months old, we were both so impressed, with the layout of the Nursery, the staff and how well it was equipped. She is nearly 3 now and attends three days a week, sometimes more days if needed. My granddaughter has made so
much progress, she adores Nursery and the staff, she has so much encouragement and thrives on it. She is way ahead of other children I know who don't go to Nursery. The staff are wonderful, and so patient, taking time for each child while making sure rules are obeyed and safety is ensured. I have worked in nurseries in the past and from experience would recommend this Nursery to anyone.

My niece has come to Clarence House for a few months now and I could not recommend a better nursery! After being let down at a previous nursery finding Clarence house was truly a godsend. The staff are all professional and caring towards both my niece and myself and really go the extra mile to help
her settle when she is having a bad morning. The activities are planned to suit each child individually and my niece has developed dramatically since starting at Clarence House!

My son started attending the nursery this year. It's only been a month but he already made great connections with other kids and the staff. He likes going there and whenever he's back home he tries to describe what he did there. Staff are friendly and take good care of their pupils. Would recommend.

Current Review Score: 9.4 (9.409)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.4 (9.409) out of 10 for Clarence House Ely is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 7 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.914 for Clarence House Ely is calculated as follows: ( (74 Excellents x 5) + (7 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 81 Ratings = 4.914
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.495 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Clarence House Ely is based on 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.7
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 44 number of registered child places is 8.8. 7 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.8 = 0.795
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
