Hungry Caterpillar Day nursery - West Twyford is based within West Twyford Primary School and Children’s Centre. It provides places for children aged 3 months to 5 years and the children's centre location gives families access to a range of services, support and a monthly activity programme.

Outdoor learning is encouraged at every opportunity and children love their regular Superstar sports programme each week, playing in the garden and visiting the school’s extensive play areas which allows them to build their explorations and learning, children enjoy musical movement sessions boogie mites and also take part in yoga and bucket time for their attention and listening, the outdoor environment allows children to broaden their views on the world around them.

The baby room aims to create a sensory experience where they children can use the senses to learn and explore. In the baby room, staff focus on the three prime areas of learning to ensure that children have a good foundation of knowledge to build upon whilst they progress through the nursery.

The nursery places great emphasis on its relationship with families. It wants them to be part of the nursery and keep in close contact with staff. Likewise, staff will make sure that your family is included in nursery life through daily feedback, termly progress reviews and many lovely organised events that you can attend. They also like to invite parents in to lead learning opportunities with the children. The nursery's greatest pride is the many testimonials it has from parents about how happy their children are at Hungry Caterpillars. Hungry caterpillar. The deputy manager and senior staff member are awesome help and have helped my daughter progress so much. Really proud of West Twyford nursery - keep up the good work West Twyford nursery I love it.

Both my son and daughter love going to this nursery. Staff are very professional and helpful. They always try to satisfy my requests too! They look very excited to give feedback each day and I love listening what my children have done all day.
I would definitely recommend to my friends.
