Hopscotch Day Nursery Eastleigh

My son is loving his time at the nursery learning new skills and loves the playing out in the garden and doing all the painting and making things.

Having done a lot of research and visited several nurseries, we decided that Hopscotch Eastleigh was the one for our daughter. Upon visiting, the staff were welcoming, friendly and very informative and interacted with our daughter. The rooms are large, spacious and very light. The outdoor roof top garden is a brilliant addition to allow the children to bring the outside in. Since starting last year, our daughter has been happy and grown in confidence, her vocabulary at only 18 months is vast. My daughter had an intolerance to dairy which meant she started on a dairy free diet, which was nutritious and near enough the same menu as the other children. Thank you Hopscotch for making the process seamless and giving our daughter the opportunity to thrive in such a lovely, interactive and friendly environment.

I really love the consistent communication and the whole package has really lived up to expectation. I’m really so happy that we found this gem of a nursery; my daughter will also be attending when she is a little older. I cannot fault them.

But with time, am getting less worried and thanks to the staff, they seem to be very understanding.

My daughter comes home everyday telling me about all the activities she has been doing. She is always happy to go to nursery and sometimes does not want to come home. All the staff are very informative about her day at nursery and if I need to talk to anyone about my daughters care I am able to.

The staff at Hopscotch Day Nursery, Eastleigh are always very friendly and informative about my daughter's day. My child is always happy to go to nursery and is happy to speak to all of the staff. Thank you for looking after my baby. There has been a lot of improvements to the setting and I especially love the back garden.

My son started here a month ago just after he turned three. From the first phone call to the show around it’s been brilliant. He’s now been attending for just over a month and he absolutely loves it, he always comes out with a smile on his face.

Lovely staff who are very welcoming, my son loves all the staff. There's so much to do inside and out. My son really enjoys the food that's provided, he comes home and tells me how much of an amazing day he's had after each session. A happy place to be.

I couldn’t thank the staff enough; they are amazing, and my son has come on leaps and bounds since joining last year. He loves all his care people! We can’t wait to continue the journey until our little boy starts school.

My son was moved here in October 2022 due to staffing issues at another nursery. We were nervous to move him, but the team at Eastleigh understood our predicament and helped to organise the changeover, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. Every single staff member we encounter, from management to my son’s key worker, is passionate, kind, and eager to support any needs my son may have. My son is so excited to go to preschool every day, and it’s lovely to see how much his development has improved since moving here. The nursery has been recently renovated, so it’s really modern and has excellent facilities on offer. Overall, I really recommend Hopscotch Eastleigh - thank you to the team!

My child’s development was mainly due to the nursery. He was not talking much when he joined the nursery. But the amazing efforts from the nursery staff, I can see that on my child now. The staff are very friendly and supportive.

My son has attended this nursery setting for almost 2 years and is now currently transitioning throughout preschool to prepare for school starting in September. I am more than happy with his nursery and preschool experience, the staff have been fabulous throughout, are really friendly and have helped him prepare on target for school. His key worker and all the staff will be truly missed by my son and I. Wishing both my son and the staff all the luck and love in the world for their future.

My daughter has attended this setting for a little over 2 years now and has grown so much in that time, in more ways than one, and it's all thanks to the amazing staff. There have been many positive changes in those 2 years and it will be an extremely sad day when my daughter has to leave.

The children get to see so much (ie tadpoles turning into frogs, caterpillars turning into butterflies, even trips to the library!) that they wouldn’t necessarily be able to see at home, and I know lots of effort goes into setting these things up behind the scenes.

My girls love it here, they do before and after school club as well as holiday club. My girls are always talking about everyone here as well as how amazing their activities are at holiday club. The staff are amazing and will help you with any advice you may need.

Hopscotch is wonderful! From the moment I took my then 9-month old for a look around, it has felt like the right place for us. My daughter is now 3 and thriving. Her speech and language, ability to play and share with others and eat nicely, whilst also using manners, have all significantly improved since starting nursery. She has consistently been with 1 key person, whom she adores and has followed her journey since she started. The nursery has accommodated my daughter's needs and food intolerance and make sure to prepare delicious meals that she can safely eat. Every single member of staff are loving, kind, knowledgeable and attentive both to the child and their families. They supported us when my daughter's dad passed away and have been nothing but professional and yet caring. My daughter is always so excited and happy to go to nursery and is always happy and chatty about her time spent there. I truly couldn't recommend Eastleigh Hopscotch enough.

My daughter has been attending Hopscotch Eastleigh since March 2021, after moving from another setting. She has come on in leaps and bounds since we have moved and really enjoys the time she spends with the girls and other children in the room. She is also eager to come in and is always happy and bouncing when I pick her up. Great Nursery, all the staff are wonderful and can't do enough.

Excellent nursery, our child loves going here and is thriving. The staff are really helpful and caring. Tapestry really helps to see what goes on. Nothing is ever too much trouble.

I really couldn’t be happier with how they all treat her and how genuinely happy they are to see her every time she goes in. I wouldn’t want her to be placed anywhere else and am so lucky that such a lovely team look after her while I have to work. Thank you guys as always - if there was a higher mark than excellent, this nursery and the whole team would be awarded it in every department!
