Muddy Boots Nursery (Poppleton)

So very pleased with how our daughter has settled at Muddy Boots! She is coming on leaps and bounds and enjoying lots of new experiences. The feedback and photos we get on ParentZone are very reassuring and her carers put so much effort into updating us with lots of info. I highly recommend Muddy Boots nursery.

My son recently joined Muddy Boots and the staff have been amazing at helping him to settle in. Communication has been great! During the first few sessions, they called to let me know he was settling well and I've also appreciated all the information when I pick him up - it's lovely to know what he's been up to, and hear about the fun he's had. I've also loved looking at the photos that have been uploaded to ParentzZone.

From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted by happy, welcoming staff who are not only well qualified but are also committed to treating each child as an individual and ensure they are looked after in a supportive, home from home environment.

They give me thoroughly, honest feedback at the end of every day. They are also great if you have any questions about your child’s care and go the extra mile if you ask them for any support.

Thoroughly recommend. The new building is beautifully designed and well thought out too.

Amazing. My boy is always happy when I drop him off and happy when I pick him up. Staff really cares for him and he came up in his speech and social skills in leaps and bounds.

The setting is just amazing. The staff genuinely care and put 100% into everything. They are so thorough with explaining what your child has been up to during the day.

I cannot praise Muddy Boots hight enough. My son settled straight away even though he had never spent a day away from me before. Each member of staff genuinely care for the children and it really shows. The location is lovely and the children have plenty of outdoor play, which is very important to me. My baby has thrived.

Our daughter has been at Muddy Boots for nearly two and a half years and we cannot praise it highly enough. The staff genuinely care for all the children and the ethos is nurturing, warm and fun. There is a real sense of teamwork, and everyone is friendly and welcoming. The opportunities provided are excellent, with an emphasis on being free to explore and investigate. Both indoor and outdoor provision is fantastic and we know our daughter is gaining a wide range of opportunities. She is very settled and happy which is the most important thing for us. She regularly comes home singing new songs or telling us about the stories they have shared together; as well as the adventures with her friends. We have no hesitations in recommending Muddy Boots.

I had my heart set on Muddy Boots right from when we decided to send our daughter to nursery. I wanted a nursery where she'd be free to play and explore and where they weren't afraid for her to get a bit mucky!

As I'm sure it is for any parent/child, it was difficult at first leaving my daughter with people she didn't know but she soon settled in and now holds her arms out to the members of staff when I take her in the morning.

I love that the children can play how they want - indoors or outdoors and how the nursery is always coming up with ideas to aid their development. My daughter loves it there and is learning so much; her speech, in particular, has been coming on in leaps and bounds and I'm sure Muddy Boots plays a part in that!

Thank you for everything you all do to make my daughter's experience such a nice one (and for making our lives so much easier knowing she is contented while we are at work!)

The nursery and the team are wonderful!

Muddy Boots has fantastic facilities and is staffed by extremely enthusiastic people who obviously enjoy what they do. The outside space is exceptional, and it's the amount of outdoors time the children get that first drew us to Muddy Boots, but following the move to the renovated barn, the indoor space is also now very nice and light with plenty of open spaces. An exceptional nursery.

My little boy has been going to Muddy Boots since he was 10 months old and he absolutely loves it and so do we. There are not enough words to express how happy we are with everything at Muddy Boots. It’s like a home away from home, the staff are all absolutely amazing. My little boy's key person knows him so well, listens to all his needs and adapts when he grows and changes. With her and the rest of the team, he is developing so much and learning every day. They are all truly lovely, we cannot thank them all enough.

Professional, consistent, fun, caring and an all round fantastic nursery! My little boy has been here for a few afternoons a week for nearly 2 years now. He loves it and we love it! The new building is incredible too!

Excellent nursary. Our little girl has settled very quickly and loves going. We always get a full report of what she's been up to and the staff are friendly and always willing to answer any questions we might have. It has a great atmosphere and a fantastic ethos.

My daughter started at Muddy Boots earlier this month and absolutely loves it there. It's reassuring to know she's having fun and being well looked after whilst she's there. The menu for the food looks really good too. Great building and great staff to boot!

My little boy has been at Muddy Boots since last March and he loves it. He has come on leaps and bounds especially since they have moved into their purpose built setting. I love that they have free flow to the garden all day so he gets plenty of fresh air and I love the activities that he does. The care is fantastic and the staff are like family. They always make you feel welcome and are great with the children and give you a full lowdown on what your child has been doing. I would definitely recommend this nursery to anybody looking for somewhere for their children.

My son is very settled and happy at Muddy Boots. He loves the new garden especially running up and down the hill! The staff are really helpful and supportive. They have recently helped us with potty training our son and stuck by the rules that we had made ie sticker charts etc. The nursery has a homely feel, all the staff we have met are very friendly and approachable including the management. I am very happy with the level of care my son receives and would highly recommend Muddy Boots Nursery.

The new building is just fantastic, the ease of access to outdoor activities in a safe and wholly private setting is a particular highlight. Having a purpose-built nursery is clearly a massive advantage to promote an exciting and safe learning environment and it feels like my son has access to all the things he needs to keep him engaged and happy.
