The Old Station Nursery Innsworth

I wouldn't recommend! The headquarters see your children as profit and are very greedy. The billing team billed me nearly 2 weeks late into the first month, despite chasing, which created instant arrears as they want payment in advance. To keep me paying one month in advance, the billing team gave me three days to pay half of December's bill, then the other half 2 weeks later, then January's bill 1 week after that (that's 3 months of fees in just over a month incl. what was already paid!). They even had the nerve to add a late fee when it was them who were late! I explained they were being unreasonable but they remained uncooperative and failed to acknowledge they are responsible for the issues. I had to pull my child out as they left me no other option and they couldn't care less about her. They'll come back with a crowd pleasing comment to this, to make themselves look good, but this isn't a company that cares about children (and I'm an ex nursery teacher so I know how it all works!).

A fantastic nursery full of staff who genuinely care for your little one and you as a family. The team make us feel as though our little boy is a real priority to them and has been instrumental in ensuring he has not just remained settled but thrived, during a difficult time for our family. In particular, the baby room leader, has shown such care and warmth to our son and we can’t thank her enough for the time she has spent looking after him. The management team have also been fantastic and have bent over backwards to accommodate us and to ensure our little boy is happy and settled throughout our difficult time.

Old Station Nursery has provided excellent care for my children for the last 2 years. Flexible and approachable staff who really care. The children are well engaged and happy to go in each day. Highly recommend this setting to other families.

Great nursery, great staff, couldn’t ask for anything more. They go above and beyond to ensure all children are well looked after and most importantly happy.

The Old Station Nursery Innsworth, have been a blessing to us! The confidence given to my boy is more than I could find words for! We love the entire team! He loves every day he spends there, and we are always welcomed in with smiling faces!

I have returned to work following maternity leave. My son started at around 8 months, the team are so lovely and made its very easy to return to work without worrying. My son is very happy in the setting, I do not have any other issues at drop off not wanting to be handed over. I always get a in depth handover at pick up of all the things he has got up to in the day. The setting is so lovely with a big open space for the garden, they have a range of animals which is lovely to see and the children to be involved with. I would highly recommended this nursery.

But on the whole very pleased.

We are really pleased with the nursery and our daughter really enjoys going in. We are regularly updated on what's going on and are so pleased we found such a friendly place. We will make sure our next one is registered too!

I’m very pleased with the nursery, and how they take care of my child. My child always comes back happy and is always excited to go to school in the morning, and the teachers are always friendly and explain what my child does during the day. Overall it is an excellent nursery.

My nearly three-year-old twins have been at The Old Station Nursery since nine months old and absolutely love it! The staff are amazing. I always feel well-informed about the twins' daily activities and their development. The independence they have already gained from attending the setting is great. It is lovely now after pick-up hearing all about their day in their own words, always sounds like a fun-packed day! I was recommended the nursery twice by a friend and a colleague, and I would now have no hesitation in recommending how great the nursery is.

Having had my child attend for the last three weeks, I can say without a doubt, that this is a phenomenally well-run nursery. The staff in the 0-2 year rooms exude professionalism, enthusiasm and an enduring desire to ensure the quality of care of the children is at a constant high. As a first-time mother, the friendly and encouraging advice and information the leading staff offer me on a daily basis at drop off and pick up on my child's progress and ways I can contribute is invaluable. The management team are excellent with clear, fast communication and flexibility with requests for changes to my child's nursery schedule. This nursery includes all amenities such as nappies, formula, medicine and food that my child requires making it not only extraordinarily good value for the exceptional quality of care my child receives but also an enjoyable experience for myself not having to sort out and bring all these in myself. I would highly recommend enrolling a child into this wonderful place!

Excellent setting.

The nursery has been very helpful and supportive of myself and my child. They are happy to answer any questions that I may have. Very friendly staff who have created a great bond with my child and have nurtured her progress greatly.

The nursery have been brilliant with our little one. They talked us through his settling in and both the rooms he's been in. Communication has been brilliant. They've been the best support as first-time parents. My little one has grown in confidence during his time here.

My 19 months old son has been going to The Old Station Nursery for 7 months now and we absolutely love it! Amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. They are also very flexible and have great hours. All of the teachers in the baby room love having my son and he loves seeing them too. His key person is an absolute godsend, so loving and caring. She not only provides amazing care to him, but she also taught him so much already - even how to fall asleep on his own for his lunch nap, something that we still struggle to do ourselves at home! I can see the growth and learning every day. The management is also really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to the manager and the whole team at OSN. It’s so nice to know that my son is in such a caring environment while he isn’t home, can't recommend this nursery enough!

Both my kids go here and the staff maintain excellent communication links with parents and they can understand the actual needs of the kids. The staff deal with every and each emotional need of the kids and arrange different setups for kid according to their needs. I do recommend this nursery setting to anyone.

Over the last two years, both my children have loved The Old Station Nursery, Gibson Rd. They have adored their keyworkers in all three rooms, who have done a brilliant job of updating the parents' app so we know what they've been up to. They have loads of fun, and there's a lot of learning snuck in there. The staff have all been incredibly kind and patient getting them settled and somehow they can even get them to eat vegetables. Thank you so much to all the staff involved!

I have two children at the nursery now, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it anyone! I have complete trust in the staff that not only are the children's physical needs met, but their social, emotional and educational needs are too. I am really pleased with how the nursery communicate with us - the level of feedback we receive about what the children are up to during the week is great, and staff are always very responsive to any questions we have had. Ultimately, all I really want from nursery is for my children to be cared for in the same way as they would be at home, and I have no doubt that this is the case!
