The Old Station Nursery Innsworth

This nursery is absolutely fantastic; it's always so unnerving sending your little ones to the nursery for the first time, but they are so lovely and put your mind at ease straight away. My youngest never liked to stay with anyone else, even family, so the idea of sending him to nursery was really quite stressful! But he tells us one of the workers; is his best friend!

Both of my children have attended this nursery, I'm pregnant with my 3rd, and will 100% send my child here when the time comes, even if I move out of the area, it's worth the drive to a nursery I am confident will provide such good care for my children.

A fantastic nursery with wonderful, dedicated staff. My daughter is well cared for and thoroughly enjoys her time there. She is taught skills for school as well as enjoying fun activities. The food and facilities are excellent.

I am very satisfied with the service they provide. It is a clean and safe environment for little ones to learn, play and have fun.

Help is given within the setting to address concerns that may arise at home, where they address the issue, talking or reading stories that connect to the issue to help the child’s understanding.

Fantastic nursery facilities and the staff are great! We have been using them for 3 years now and remain highly satisfied with the care that they provide for our children. Very easy to speak to all levels of staff. You just have to spend some time in one of the rooms to understand that the children are very happy.

The food they feed my little boy is great and varied. The team in the under 2's are the best and have helped my little boy come on with his development and learning and I will be very sad when we have to move in the summer of 2019.

My son went into The Old Station Nursery at 8 months old and is now 30 months. I’m withdrawing him from the nursery, only because we have just moved 100 miles away. I’m so so gutted to have to take him from this nursery because he loves it. I seriously doubt that I’ll find another nursery of the same calibre near my new home. He has always been happy to go in and always has a great time. I’ve always had the impression that all of the staff genuinely enjoy what they do.

I can’t recommend this nursery highly enough.

This is a nurturing and caring setting where the children are well looked after and taken care of. They carry out a variety of different activities with the children each day including stories, cooking, painting and playing games outside.

The food provided seem very varied and lots of healthy options.

I am particularly impressed by the time taken by staff at collection to give me a thorough handover of what has happened - I particularly love the personal touch passing on assistance/things said. Highly recommend this setting. Love that they also have pets.

My daughter has attended Old Station for the last two years and my youngest has recently joined the baby room. I cannot fault this nursery. The staff are passionate and enthusiastic, they are always thinking of creative ideas to engage the children. The nursery really focuses on developing and encouraging the children, paying attention to next steps and supporting them to achieve these. Parents are kept fully engaged with their children's progress, through online journals and they are always open to feedback to improve the nursery further. The nursery offers varied and healthy meals which change seasonally. In addition, the nursery invests in extra-curricular activities such as tatty bumpkin yoga and cookery classes etc which further add to the children's enjoyment and development. It also actively encourages the children to get outside and explore the outdoors at every opportunity. Old Station is truly deserving of the recent outstanding rating.

The Old Station Nursery provides a warm, caring, safe environment for little ones. We have loved the staff and they have created a lovely dynamic amongst the children where they help and care about one another. The facilities are clean and bright, lovely outdoor space, and always a large variety of activities to keep the children engaged and learning.

My children have now attended The Old Station Nursery for over 5 years in total and I have always been caring, conscientious, pro- active and have really taken an interest in the happiness and development of my children. I have never had cause for complaint and from quite early on, myself and my children felt comfortable about them going to nursery - they have always had a good day and I have always received excellent feedback on their day from staff. My only issue was that I wasn't able to use government funded hours over 2 days but the fact that I overlooked this is a testament to this nursery and its excellent staff.

The nursery is very well equipped and the girls that work there are lovely. I have had three children at the Old Station and they have all loved there time.

This is a first class nursery and I recommended without hesitation. Out two sons have been at this nursery since they were little and have received outstanding care. We as a family have been supported whole heartedly by management (manager is excellent) and by the most caring and devoted team of staff parents could wish for. They care for each child (and family) as individuals and always have their best interests at the centre of all they do. Outstanding thank you for everything we are sad to finish nursery life. Have recommended to several friends already without hesitation.

My child has come on in her development since (March) starting at The Old Station Nursery. She is a very happy child after a rocky start due to never being left with anyone. Myself as a mother am very happy with how my child has been helped to settle in and how the staff and management keep me updated and out of their way to help me.

The Old Station Nursery has provided excellent care and support for our daughter who has had significant issues with Glue Ear. The staff are very well qualified and up to date with their knowledge and understanding of effective practice. They always take the time to make you and your child feel very welcome.

A fantastic nursery where my children have thrived.

My son has been attending the old station Innsworth since September 2015 we were a bit nervous at first with him going to nursery at two as with our first son we waited till he was three. The staff made us feel extremely welcome and at ease.our son has came on leaps and bounds and we are amazed by his speech. His key worker goes the extra mile and always does reviews and pictures on tapestry which we love seeing. The nursery is always clean and tidy and the staff always friendly the manager will also always pop out to say good morning . The only thing I would suggest is when new staff start the parents are informed presently so we are aware. Other then that I can't rate the old station highly enough if you are looking for a nursery that goes that extra mile this is the one!.
