Victoria House Day Nursery is located in Marlow and has a real family feel. This small, welcoming nursery prioritises individual care and learning whilst building strong parental partnerships.

The garden features include a pirate ship, treetop walkway and balancing beams as well as a purpose-built preschool garden along with a dedicated vegetable patch and mud kitchen.   

All activities are designed in line with EYFS principles and implemented by highly trained staff. There is a large, fully resourced garden which offers ample opportunities for outdoor play and learning.

Children at the nursery get involved in imaginative play and real-world play to help them grow and develop. Older children begin to learn about personal care and safety, as they become more independent and curious.

Orchard House is by far the best nursery in the area, having sampled a few and been disappointed. The nursery manager is incredible, she's always looking for new ideas and improvements to benefit the children. Most recently were all of the personal and thoughtful touches they organised for their special
graduation day. It's a happy, professional team who build strong bonds with the children, they always have tables set up with imaginative activities, make time for parents even at the end of a tiring day. The fun garden area is also a fabulous asset. It's huge compared to other Marlow nurseries - and we've looked round them all!


We are going to miss seeing the team when our youngest daughter moves to reception in September. They have made her time in preschool so memorable! I can't recommend them enough.

My first ever experience going into a nursery and I cannot fault anything. From the visit to actually starting, my child is in the baby room and loves it I have seen such an improvement within a short amount of time. He is an outdoor child and since this nursery has a huge garden it was my first choice!!!

I can't speak highly enough of Victoria House. The staff are all fantastic and made us feel so welcome when we were moved here from another nursery which shut down. I have a child in preschool and one in the baby room and they are both so happy there! They do really sweet (and educational) activities
with the children and spend loads of time in the garden which is an amazing space. I would recommend this nursery to anyone!

Victoria House nursery is going through a challenging time. It was acquired by Family First Nursery Group in 2022. Virtually all of the full time staff have left and the nursery is supported largely by agency staff.
We have seen a notable decline in the service delivered. This was compounded by the
nursery manager confirming our concerns in a recent email to all parents before leaving. I am sharing this review for people who will look at historic reviews of a brilliant nursery. They do not reflect the current service.

Our experience has been excellent, from our son's introduction to the caterpillar room to his spell in the preschool room. The staff have been superb, always friendly, attentive and willing to help. My son has thrived and seems happy in himself and in the nursery environment. I would credit the facilities

With two children at the nursery, we are delighted to experience the journey a child makes from the caterpillar rooms, up to the preschool environment. The welcome and care from all staff is faultless and there is a real sense of nurturing each child and their interests. My children are excited to go

My husband and I have both been so pleased we chose Victoria House Day Nursery. From the day our child started when he was 10 months old to leaving now aged almost 5 years old, we have had absolute trust and confidence in the staff and management at this nursery. Our boy has thrived in this caring environment

My daughter who is now 6 went to Victoria House Day Nursery (Marlow) and now my three year old son does too. He’s been there since he was eighteen months old and really enjoys his time there. The staff are really friendly and take great care of all the kids, so you feel at ease when you're not with
them. They have plenty of activities for the kids and my two always enjoy the food. There’s also a great outdoor play are for the kids. Overall I am very happy with Victoria House Day Nursery (Marlow) and highly recommend them.

We have used Victoria House for nearly seven years and our children have thrived there. The staff are caring and take note of the child's individual interests and needs. The rooms are light and airy and the outside space is fantastic. The menu is varied and our children have always eaten very well there.
The nursery is very well run and management are both approachable and flexible. We would highly recommend Victoria House to anyone in the area.

I looked around all the nurseries in Marlow and whilst there are a couple of great options, I thought Victoria House to be the best. My decision was definitely right for us. The best bit about Victoria House is the staff. They are fabulous with children and I'm so pleased my daughter has warm and funny
staff members to look up to. My daughter started there at one year old and now she is just over two and we have had a great experience of the baby and toddler rooms. She talks now a lot and her manners like "Wait for your friends" before eating are really coming on - a direct result of her fabulous carers. The management staff are also great and also really open to listening and helping, whenever needed. Thanks Victoria House.

Our little girl has been attending Victoria House Day Nursery since she turned 1 and she absolutely loves it. She always goes in and comes out smiling. The team have done an excellent job, taking care of her needs and helping her to progress. Her language and social abilities have improved so much from
being immersed in the culture, day in and out. All in all, I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a nursery, for their child.
