Victoria House Day Nursery & Pre-School

My husband and I have both been so pleased we chose Victoria House Day Nursery. From the day our child started when he was 10 months old to leaving now aged almost 5 years old, we have had absolute trust and confidence in the staff and management at this nursery. Our boy has thrived in this caring environment where he has as many friends in the staff as he does the other children. We would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter who is now 6 went to Victoria House Day Nursery (Marlow) and now my three year old son does too. He’s been there since he was eighteen months old and really enjoys his time there. The staff are really friendly and take great care of all the kids, so you feel at ease when you're not with them. They have plenty of activities for the kids and my two always enjoy the food. There’s also a great outdoor play are for the kids. Overall I am very happy with Victoria House Day Nursery (Marlow) and highly recommend them.

We have used Victoria House for nearly seven years and our children have thrived there. The staff are caring and take note of the child's individual interests and needs. The rooms are light and airy and the outside space is fantastic. The menu is varied and our children have always eaten very well there. The nursery is very well run and management are both approachable and flexible. We would highly recommend Victoria House to anyone in the area.

I looked around all the nurseries in Marlow and whilst there are a couple of great options, I thought Victoria House to be the best. My decision was definitely right for us. The best bit about Victoria House is the staff. They are fabulous with children and I'm so pleased my daughter has warm and funny staff members to look up to. My daughter started there at one year old and now she is just over two and we have had a great experience of the baby and toddler rooms. She talks now a lot and her manners like "Wait for your friends" before eating are really coming on - a direct result of her fabulous carers. The management staff are also great and also really open to listening and helping, whenever needed. Thanks Victoria House.

Our little girl has been attending Victoria House Day Nursery since she turned 1 and she absolutely loves it. She always goes in and comes out smiling. The team have done an excellent job, taking care of her needs and helping her to progress. Her language and social abilities have improved so much from being immersed in the culture, day in and out. All in all, I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a nursery, for their child.

I have been sending my sons to Victoria Day House for over 3 months and have seen the speed in which they are developing increase rapidly. All the staff are always so welcoming and friendly and I couldn't be happier with the level of care my boys get. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone that would like their child to get the best from their early years.

Our 8-month-old son started nursery at the beginning of January this year, two days a week, and the team at Victoria House have been fantastic, from initial enquiries, comprehensive “show-around” and “settling-in-days”, to guide us through all the formal admin stuff, just so helpful throughout the process. They are highly qualified and incredibly professional staff, providing quality and attentive care towards the children, especially in the middle of a global pandemic, with all the additional work that no doubt entails. This was evident not only first hand from time spent in the room with them and the support and communications we have received, but also through feedback from other parents. My wife and I were considering several local early years settings, and we are absolutely sure we made the best choice in sending our little bundle of fun to Victoria House and look forward to watching him develop there over the next five years. Well done ladies, keep up the great work!

We love the opportunity to see photos and updates on how he's getting on, and the thoughtfulness the staff put into finding activities he enjoys (playing in the water, singing songs) as well as challenging to help him develop. He's now crawling and walking with support. The staff are always helpful and open with us about how he has been, and I could not recommend the nursery more!

My daughter has been attending Victoria House Day Nursery in Marlow since August 2020. The staff have been wonderful at welcoming her. She has settled well and thoroughly enjoys the days that she spends there. She talks positively about all members of staff and about the activities and play that she encounters. The staff have consistently provided us with feedback and are always enthusiastic and supportive. Both I and my husband would highly recommend this nursery.

Both my girls go to Victoria House and I can’t praise the whole team enough for the standard of care they provide. Throughout this difficult year, they have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of the children, the parents/carers and themselves in order to continue to deliver their high standards of care and provide the children with extra stability and understanding. Extracurricular activities have had to pause to prevent external visits to the site however, the team have used their creativeness and homed in on their own talents and now deliver new activities every week such as yoga, cooking and gardening. All valuable skills to be learning at such a key age. My eldest is in Bumblebees and she’s always so proud of her cooking that she brings home. I’d love to try it, but I don’t get a look in, straight down the hatch when she walks in the door. She teaches her Granny yoga and beams with excitement whenever she’s telling people what she’s been doing. Well done Victoria House.

We could not be happier that we decided to send our daughter to Victoria House! Of all the nurseries we looked at it stood out as warm, brilliantly run, and striking a great balance between homely informality and structured play. Her development, particularly socially and in terms of communication, has been noticeably accelerated by her time at nursery because of the emphasis placed on these aspects of her learning at Victoria House. She talks about nursery when she’s not there and can’t get to the door fast enough when we drop her off! Finally, I think the way in which Victoria House has handled the coronavirus crisis has demonstrated their great management but also great sensitivity, flexibility and understanding.

Our daughter has settled in so well at Victoria House. Our daughter always receives a warm welcome and will happily go to the carers in her room at drop off. We have been really impressed with the communication from her carers, feedback after our daughter's sessions and the overall care she receives. We will happily recommend Victoria House to others.

The keyworker is great, she is always there. Every morning she is there with a smile and is very welcoming.

I can give it no better endorsement than to say my children are constantly happy and beaming from ear to ear when we pick them up.

My daughter has been at Victoria House from eight months to three years of age and has thrived because of the excellent staff, care and attention she has received. She has developed so well and receives no end of interaction with the team. She is very happy and the large garden really is an added bonus for the children to play in. The food is varied and healthy and the nursery is always clean and well maintained. I would have no hesitation in recommending Victoria House.

Our daughter has settled in really well to Caterpillar room at Victoria house. The staff put in a big effort to make her feel at home there and now she waves me off happily in the mornings. She eats a wide variety of healthy foods at nursery. Her physical development and speech have really improved in her time at Victoria House and this is a testament to the activities and time the staff have invested in our daughter. I am looking forward to spending the next couple of years of her education at Victoria House.

Staff seem to genuinely care about my child and provide fun themes for the week's activities. My son also seems to enjoy the food that is provided. The menu looks varied and nutritious.

I feel like the staff love my little boy. I had a great feeling about the nursery when I first visited and knew it would be a fit for us. We are very happy with Victoria House.

As a shy boy, Victoria House has been (and still are) instrumental in helping him come out of his shell.
