We are pleased with our son's progress since he started Crafty Wizards. Lovely staff, great learning environment. A place very children can thrive. Shame there is no primary school attached to this. The school takes the safety of pupils very highly. Great going!!

We now do lock-down drills as well as a fire drill. We even have risk assessment checklists for our children to have a go at completing so that they begin to have an awareness of reducing dangers themselves. The food we provide during snack time is locally grown from our local greengrocer who provides a range of fruit and veg. Unfortunately, due to our small size as a pre-school we are unable to offer hot meals and packed lunch remains the only option at lunch times currently. Thank you for your time in writing a review. My second child is currently attending Crafty Wizards. I can honestly say they are fantastic and my two year old has settled in so well. She loves the craft activities and has made a huge variety of things, no two days are the same. The staff are incredibly supportive, understanding, creative and are
brilliant with the children. We have been kept well informed through chats, paperwork, a 'formal' catch up, what's our daughter does during her time at the nursery and how she is performing etc. My two year wants to go every day and counts down the days until she returns. I have no hesitation in recommending the nursery at every opportunity.

We have had two children attend Crafty wizards and will be sending our third there as well. All of the staff are excellent and they really care about the work they are doing with the children, not only to play but also helping them learn in a fun environment.

As a first time mummy, I was extremely nervous about sending my son to nursery, he has now been there for the past month and the staff have been outstanding at settling in my very clingy little boy. Fantastic job the staff are doing!

Dedicated staff provide a great setting for my children to learn and it prepared my eldest for Reception. They encourage reading, and drawing, exploring the environment, they do Phonics with the children, role play and more. My son loved it, my daughter loves it, and my youngest can't wait to join.

I cannot recommend Crafty Wizards enough. My daughter attended from age 2 to 4 years and she loved every minute she was there. The key workers are fantastic and extremely committed to crafty wizards and the education of the children. The activities are fun but also educational. My daughter started primary
school in September 2016 and she is confident in her written and oral communication, which is down to the dedicated work of crafty wizards. I am so happy that I always recommend them to friends and have already registered my one-year-old to attend once he is old enough, as I wouldn't consider sending him anywhere else

We could not have been happier with our experience at Crafty Wizards. The whole team and setting was perfect for our little girl. Lots of free, crafty play but also lots of structure. Our little girl started primary school in September and I have no doubt that Crafty Wizards played a key role in how
she's settled in there. She's doing amazingly well so far and her teachers are really impressed with all she knows already, much of this is all down to Crafty Wizards. So thank you Crafty Wizards team.

Crafty Wizards was recommended by a friend. I am so glad I took her advice. It is a fantastic environment for the children and all the staff are great. My child took to all the staff not just his key workers. I have recommended Crafty Wizards to a number of other parents.

Our son has attended Crafty Wizards since January 2014 aged 2, he is now approaching age 4 and has learnt so much from attending. Staff are continuously supportive to both our son and us as parents; we receive daily feedback about what he's learning and feeling etc. We have already said we'd send our
daughter when she reaches 2.

My son had previously attended another nursery in the area and had not settled well there. When my son started in September 2015, I let his Key Person know of the difficulties in the last nursery and all the staff really helped my son settle into Crafty Wizards. It was a huge relief for us that within
2 sessions, he was keen to attend and left with huge smiles on his face. The Key Person really takes time to know what your child likes and give you a report at the end of the day as to what my son has enjoyed or found challenging. We also enjoy the facebook updates/pictures so we can discuss with him what he has done at school today.


My son has really been supported at the school and has really made progress in developing his confidence and speech. We agree with the other viewers that the staff are really welcoming and enthusiastic as you can see on all the children's faces just how happy they are to be there.


We would definitely recommend this school to others.

This is a very friendly environment where my child is happy and relaxed. He enjoys the many arts and crafts and has learnt good social skills. I can't recommend this pre-school highly enough.

It is good to hear that we are nearly excellent in all the areas in your opinion. Please do ask your child's key person about the range of resources we have and the ICT we use on a daily basis; our interactive white board screen, our tablets, children's camera's and electronic toys, phones, calculators and more. We recently have also invested in Education City which is a programme that is currently used on our tablets for learning in all areas. It is particularly good for aiding phonics and counting. Unfortunately we are limited with what we are able to have in our outdoor area as we rent the property from the Scouts. We do have a mini-beast area, sand pit, wheeled bikes and a range of outdoor toys to develop gross motor skills as well as other areas of learning. Our snack table offers a choice of various fruit and veg with milk and water daily which is accessible throughout every session.

I am actually shocked at how far my twins have come on since starting in September 2015 in the preschool. The difference in their home playing and social skills have improved by so much that I am wondering where my little girls have gone. I cannot wait to see the progress I know they are going to achieve
in the coming year. The staff are amazing. They put so much time and effort into each child and treat them as their own. I'm so proud to say my two are in Crafty Wizards.

Small, personal touch and very friendly staff. I love the Facebook updates and photographs; the activities always look well planned and focused on learning. My children are always happy to go. It's hard to take them away! Excellent communication and excellent setting with amazing outside area; with
